I have no idea if this game is good or bad, but I was honestly confused when I saw the title of this game. Maybe Microsoft can spend more time on fixing buggy operating systems and less time on random train simulators.

this game is so cool!!! you can creat your own activaties if you want and build your own line! or if you don`t want to play around with that just use the preloaded lines and activaties. rule # 1 never go with a diferent brand other then microsoft for a train sim.

If you like Trains

If you like trains this is a must have. A few small bugs in the program but sure microsoft will come out with a patch. I give microsoft a A on this one.

I love this game.Only casue I love trians they are cool to me but i dont know about you.I play this game every day for abot 1 to 2 hours a day.If u dont have this game you need to get and try the game now.Thanks for reading what I had to say.

I could not play this game although my system exceeds the requirements specified on the box. My computer freezes every time I load a game. In addition, the graphics do not look real. It doesnt deserve any star. Waste of money!

Hokey Looking Locomotive Simulator.

It is apparent that the person or persons responsible for the picture of the inside of the locomotive cab doesn't know diddly about what a United States locomotive cab looks like on the in- side looking out. What you obviously have is the inside view of a European locomotive. Anybody who knows anything about the con- trols of a North American locomotive will be lost looking at that Hokey picture that you have in your ad. It even appears that the Engineer's position is on the left hand side, as in European practice. In North America the Engineer is on the right side of the locomotive cab. The Simulator Game may be great, but your ad gets a big fat "F."

This game is the bomb!! You can travel from one place to the other. I think this is Microsoft's best PC game ever. Whoever doesn't think so. TOOOOOO BAAAADDDDD!!

This is the best game and it has very good graphics. My favorite train to drive is the Amtrak and BNSF train. If you do not have this game you should get it. It is really cool. It has alot of missions some are easy, some are hard.

Almost as good as flight simulator

It was a lot of fun learning about train operations. For a first release it is great and I already see a lot of add-ons being developed. I haven't played with it for a few months but just thinking about it has got me thinking about loading it up again!

I like this game alot (Caution: don't buy if you have the early edition of the Pentium 2) but the wiper's aren't visible in the cockpit and they should also put in some more railroads and locomotives too. Right after I write this review I'm going to go to their website to check for product updates.
