This game is fantastic. I work for a small magazine and I played the preview at e3 and it was one of the greatest games of all time.

What I really wanted to say is that while a good amount of people are complaining without looking at the actual game, no one has noticed that this is one of the greatest video game companies in the world (square) along with the greatest entertainment company in the world (disney) is the all-star team to create a game.

If anyone has any interest in anime they might have come across a few titles that are hailed along the lines of "if (insert name of high quality story writer) and Walt Disney got together, this is what they would make," Showing that to the world disney is one of the greatest story writers in the world.

Just a thought. NOW BUY THE GAME!

Ok Kids. I got this game yesterday when it came out. And it freaking rocks. Ive never seen anything like this game. get it now.

When I first read in my gaming magazine that Square was teaming with Disney I was thinking 'Why in the world would a... company like Square team up with another company like Disney.' Boy, how wrong I was! This is a great game. The battle system is awesome and in real time. Nothing like the annoying FF battle system where you take turns. It is nothing like a kids movie. Just think of it like a FF game with well-known characters. I can't promise that it is the game for you, so it might be a good idea to rent, or borrow from a friend who has it. It is worth [$$], believe me.

What struck me first were the cameos... And the characters that I thought to be cameos, which turned out to be full-fledged characters in the game. I love this game, top to bottom. This exact same game, without the Disney tie-in, would be fun, but wouldn't evoke the same kind of emotions. I wouldn't go looking for Tommy Titmouse alongside Ronald Rock and Doofus, the retarded dog. The last RPG I really wanted to finish (and did) was Chrono Trigger, about five years ago. I can't wait to finish this game, but I never want it to end. Isn't that the mark of a great RPG?

I could not stop playign this game after i popped it into my playstation. It is perhaps the best use of a licenese in a video game to date. The game is fun to play and the battle system keeps you active. If you like quality games then you should get this dont be afraid of it because of the Disney license.

I bought my copy of Kingdom Hearts on the day of its release, and it is, without a doubt, one of the best RPGs I've ever played. The real-time battles really add to the gaming experience, and the graphics are amazing. I was kind of skeptical about the Disney voice work before I started playing, but it was really done well. The only character with obvious voice flaws I've noticed are with Genie, but I expect some from Mushu (the dragon from Mulan, voiced by Eddie Murphy). The camera is a problem, too, but after a while you learn to just control it yourself. All in all, I recommend Kingdom Hearts to anyone with a Playstation 2. I played a good 20 hours in my first weekend, and I'm not even a serious gamer.

I bought my copy of kingdom hearts and i must say that this game is great, it has that something that i cant put my finger on that only square could make. and after reading some of the reviews and seeing that most of them were written before the games release, how can some people narc a game without playing it, and i have to admit that i never have been a big disney fan,and i do watch a lot of anime, but i always try to catch up with the good old days of disney, pre-eisner and think to my self that walt was a genious, namely Fantasia, but still this game may seem like for kids, it isnt, this is for anyone who enjoys games,in my opinion this should have been squares pioneer game for the ps2 just as Naughty Dogs Jak and Daxter was(yeah that game may have seemed annoying, but its still good, besides the character & level designs are cool.) but all in all, this has been my favorite so far, next to grand theft auto 3 and fatal frame, hey im a twenty year old with alotta time on my hands, besides juggling college and getting ready for a carear in art, i need to keep my self occupied some how, in conclusion this is byfar the coolest game for the fall of 2002, i think that if it wasnt for square wanting to make a game like this, there would never be one. i hope that a lot of you who have read this review and have played the game, feel the same way i do.

I'm tired of the people say "This game is a waste!" they are wrong!The real truth is this game rocks!This is my favorite game right now...If you hate this game don't even bother writing a review...If you do then you must be one of the most boring people ever!

Squaresoft and Disney best team yet

I have to say when I purchased this game I felt dumb for purchasing a Disney game but let me just say after I played this game I don't feel dumb, and you shouldn't either for considering a Disney game.The main character of the game is Sora who is the keyholder (I might be giving stuff away if I told you more) along him comes Donald,Goofy, and some other characters but I don't want to spoil the surprise on who those characters are.Anyway the story is pretty basic in the beginning Sora and his friends Rikku and Kirai want to explore outside their island, to find Kirai's home, something drastic happens and the Heartless(the bad guyz of the story) invade the island and try to destroy it.Needless to say Sora ends up on a different island and runs into Donald and Goofy who are looking to the king(Mickey) they join up and start there quest to find the king and Sora's friends.This game will take you into pretty much every land in a Disney movie like Atlanitca,Wonderland,and Olympus just to name a few.The battle system in this game is just like Zelda you run around trying to fight something until it dies.The only problem I had with this game was the annoying camera angles when your doing something it changes on you, it gets real annoying during battles as well but thats the least of it.I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a challenge cause this game takes time to finish.

This game is just great is have just right graphics,It just evens out to be a great game.You might have a problem at the start with the angles of the game.The first couple of bosses are very hard at times.At the first world there is some time that needs to be taking to beat it the first and second time.

Pro:Great battle system,Good story,Great sound acting.

Cons:There is a spaceship that you have to fly to get to other worlds.

If you like Final Fantasy X you will be very happy with this game.You might want to pick up a guide for this game this game is not easy or you can get very very mad at some points.
But for most of it, the game is great.
Go get the game and have fun.
