Ok first of all this is a good game even though you may think it isnt just because disney was part of it. The only reason i gave it a 3 was because it only took about 20 hours to beat and collect all the side quest junk... so my advice is just rent it and play it and rent it a second time if you really want to spend endless hours trying to juggle little ghost guys to get your ultimate weapon.......
fun but slow

I got this game from a friend and I have to say, I absolutely loved it. I always get a kick out of the crossover type games, but this puts all I have seen to shame.
I do, however think the game was a bit too easy when I played it, I got through the entire thing without dying, but that is actually a good thing; it seems to be a fun game for kids as well as 22 year olds like myself =) If you are skeptical, I wouldn't be; if you like Disney BUY THIS GAME!...if you like Final Fantasy; there isn't a huge amount of that content in it; but my b/f got a serious kick out of the way Squall acted and he is a FF maniac, so I think FF fans would like it to.
It's OK but not great...

it's kinda fun because its a mix of Final Fantacy and Disney characters. its kinda hard to get through the game but it has a good story and you want to get through it. to visit worlds from disney and fight disney villins but the worlds you go through are very insteresting and nicley done. its kinda annoying to have goofy and donald in your party constantly and you wish you could get some not so annoying stronger members to fight with. overall its a good game and i would recomend it.

I have the game. I don't really play it that much because of the hardness. This is not easy because it is a Disney game. The cutscreens aren't great too. Though I love the begining!!!! The theme song is by the famous jpop singer, Hikaru Utaha. (^-^;;; can't spell names well)
____________If you like this get_________
Final Fantasy X-2, ect.
Harvest Moon

Kingdom Hearts has a great deal of potential for being a fantastic, exciting game, but the whole THEME with all that Disney stuff totally ruins it. Like the main character is really really cool, but when you see him running aroung with Donald and Goofy it kind of takes away some of the mystery or coolness about him. I mean, really, If you took Sora and Kairi and Riku and all their fighting paraphernalia out of this cute little disney-universe (where you meet jiminy cricket, the cheshire cat, and the queen of hearts) and put them in something a bit more jak & daxter-ish/sci-fi-y, the game would be great. But then, of course, you would destroy the whole backround theme. But come ON! The blockbuster vid game case's summary of it begins:
A RACE OF EVIL BEINGS KNOWN AS THE HEARTLESS HAVE ABDUCTED SORA'S BEST FRIENDS, RIKU AND KAIRI FROM THE DESTINY ISLANDS AND KING MICKEY FROM DISNEY CASTLE.
That last part sounds like a kidnapping from Disneyland.
Fun, annoying, weird!

Kingdom Hearts does not disappoint. It is a great mix of Disney and Squaresoft with the typical richness of story as one expects from squaresoft. However, the game is a mix of action and rpg, which, while not a bad thing, often causes problems for players with camera views and players don't have time to sort through their magic/item lists mid-battle. The game is fun, but not a great replay. If you want a cute, enjoyable game created by the squaresoft crew, then you'll want this game, especially if you play FF a lot...then again, if you play FF a lot, you might hate this game.
Best Game EVER!

Kingdom Hearts is one of the best RPG's out there. The details are incredible and the game play is fascinating. I'm not ususally a fan of real-time fighting, as I prefer the turn based system, but this game is different. The real-time fighting overall is one of the more interesting features of the game. The abilities you can learn are great and the ship you travel in is a unique fun mini-game in and of itself.
An incredible game...

This is an all-around great game, particularly for those who are fans of Square's previous titles. If you're a Disney freak, it'll be that much better, but even if not - you're going to have fun with this one. The graphics are beautiful, the characters and story are enjoyable, and the game play is a blast.
It's an RPG somewhat in the tradition of the Final Fantasy series, but with "real-time" action in the battles, rather than a turn-based system. There's a good bit of button mashing during fights, but even that is pretty fun.
Don't pass this one up - it's a masterpiece!
