Grand Theft Auto- San Andreas

I'm still not sure about this game. Don't get me wrong, I loved GTA 3 and Vice City, partly because you had the same character and a similar story line to go along with it. I have no problem with the character's appearance, but I wish Rockstar would have stuck with the same character and continue where GTA 3 left off. Another strange thing is the fact that this game is set in the 70's and in San Andreas... if you know where San Andreas is, it's not a ghetto at all. It's a pretty small hick town in California. Also, in the 70's, drive-bys were'nt as common as they are today. I think this game is very contradicting and isn't going to be as big as the originals.

I didn't read as many reveiws and forums about Vice City as I have for San Andreas. I am going to definatally preorder this game. I already got kinda bord of Vice City. Rockstar Games are the best because I have played other Rockstar Games and they are so cool. Jumping from GTA 3 to Vice City was a big increase and now what I have heard about San Andreas seems that Rockstar is extremially good at produceing shooters.

Can't wait for this game!!

I just read the most recent preview someone put on here from July 8, 2004. OK man, glad to see you've kept up with this game. This game is NOT taking place in the 70s, if u read the Amazon description. It has also been updated on Rockstar's website. It takes place in the 90s. The reason why it was originally going to be the 70s is because the original location for this GTA was Las Vegas. This game is gonna be awesome. The city is about 5 to 6 times larger than Vice City, and the character can FINALLY swim. It's about time that the bad-ass can swim. Also, the load time is quicker and the character is more realistic. You actually have to sit down for a bite to eat or else he'll die. I don't remember all the details but go check out the site or www.ebworld.com for all the info on the game. I can't wait for October!

I can't wait to play it... vice city is a great playstation experience... i anticipate san andreas will be great!

quit your whining... you can already play alot of white guys in other games... sometimes even GIRLS...it's about time...

I have been hearing many things about this game. you play as a black guy named Carl Johnson and that is fine with me. you can rob houses. if you dont eat enough you die. if you eat too much you get fat and run slower. There will be better cars. you can ride a bicycle. You can also take your gang with you in a car and have a 4 person drive by and there will probably be a lot more cool things about GTA5.

Every gamer who is serious about what games they buy, sell, trade, and play know that for the past few years GTA has ruled the gaming world. If you have a PS2, you probablly have one of the four GTA's.
But now there arises a new, different one. By different in that the main character is of African-American decient. Who gives a damn. GTA is so awesome that buying the game gives me a hard on. IF you don't buy this game, screw you.

This game is gonna rock. This looks like it actually might succeed the original GTA 3. It looks like it's gonna be a real blast doing drive bys. CAn't you imagine getting your friends in a car and after running over some poor grandma, you do a drive by, while someone's doing a driveby on your turf, so you have to rush back and protect your turf. The people who are complaining about being black should shut up. Black people weren't complaing when they were playing some white guys. You're just being rednecks.

I was reading a Gaming Magazine that said alot of the new edition. The story takes place in San Andreas. (L.A) It will be made up of L.A, San Fransico, and Las Vegas. You are a thug that just gets out of jail and you go back home to be a "better person". You are met by your brothers that are in a gang and need to get this other gang off there back so thats were you come in.
San Andreas is a state so going to one city to the other you will have to travel some highways and back roads and the people change to match there area. They added spotlights to the police helicopters and also they have more customized vehicles.. ie low riders.. Also your gang will be able to go along with you and you can do drive bys. There will be more emphasis on driving and stealing stuff. I think this game is going to be the best and plus it is about 3x the size of VICE CITY

Man this games gonna blow the others away. 4 person drive by's, swimming, a decade that doesn't suck (the 90's thats awesome). Also you can go on bicycles, do BMX tricks. Doin a drive by on a bike thats just crazy but its sweet. You can also do house invasions and robberies. The AI is gonna be more advanced too, so you can't just shoot somebody on the streets without some consequences. And you can get haircuts, gain or lose weight, it's pretty life like. Also Rockstar says its about 6 times larger than the rest of the games so thats gonna be cool. I've never been a big fan of the ghetto or rap music myself, but Rockstar is trying something very new and thats real good. And the guy that said he's not gonna buy this cause the main characters black, you dont deserve to call yourself a gamer if you think that. I don't care if the main character's gonna be an indian with nothin but a butt flap and feathers, if the gameplay is good, I'm gettin it. Anyways, this games gonna blow the others away i think. Get it when it comes out. I seriously don't think you'll be sorry, i know i wont.
