I was hoping i could ask my wife to pre order this game for me as a christmas present but now probably wont since i read on playstation 2's official website that the released date has AGAIN BEEN PUSHED BACK to believe it or not MARCH of 2005.

I'm getting very frustrated having to wait so long for this awesome game, something tells me it's not even worth waiting that long. Oh well guess i'll order it next year whenever it comes out.

The best yet.

I haven't played the game yet but from what i heard it is going to be grand. I have heard rumor that Gran Turismo has gotten the license for Ferrari and Lamborghini but I cannot confirm this. They are bringing back the older muscle cars. I am going to buy this game the day it comes out. Its going to be the best Gran Turismo yet!!!

Basicly, this is better than Need For Speed Underground 2 and Gran Turismo 3 combine. This game is incredible. Best racing game graphics of any racing game, including the cars, the tracks, and the backrounds. The gameplay is absolutly great as well. The amount of cars in this game is rediculus. (In a good way.) And the number of tracks is also crazy. The sounds of the engines make you think you are there. I got the INCREDIBLE Logitech Driving Force Pro for this masterpeice. Sometimes, I like to turn on the game, hook up my damn stering wheel, and kick back, relax, and enjoy driving my Mazda 787B. Damn. Bioch.
So basicly, this game is like one of the best games ever, and ANYONE could learn to love this game like a person. I'm telling you man, this game kicks ASS.
If anyone disrespects this game, I'll straighten you out, so all you haters, shut your damn mouth.
One thing I would actually say is something to hate on this game about is the last race Gran Turismo mode, in the extreme events category. It is the Formula GT race, which means you must race against the best cars overall, the Formula One cars. They are actually much better than the Le Mans cars like the Toyota GT-ONE, or the Mazda 787B. Not to say that this race ruins the game or anything, but it is basicly IMPOSSIBLE. Not only do you have to race against the best cars, but each race is like an endurance race!
DO NOT get me wrong. This game is AMAZING, and I would say it blows away Halo any day. (All do respect, Halo.)

Today, I picked up a copy of Gran Turismo 4 at Best Buy, after waiting 10 minutes for a guy to look for Tekken 5 and saying they didn't have it. Expecting a fantastic game, I ripped open the packaging in the car (for no apparent reason, seeing as how I wouldnt have a PS2 handy for a good 10 minutes), but I was so excited to play it, I couldn't help myself. So I pop the game in my PS2, and it says I don't have enough space on my memory card...so I look at the back of the box. 2000 kb minimum. So, I transfered some stuff over to my disc based Mad Katz memory card (fun fun fun), and finally started to play. I chose arcade mode, and chose my car (which looked fantastic by the way, but no huge improvement to GT3), and started playing. And as I played I thought "Hey...this feels familiar." Seeing as how, the game plays and feels exactly like 3, which isn't exactly a bad thing, but seeing as how this game was all hyped up, I expected something different. So I accelerate. Feels normal. And then I turn...OH MY GOD, KILL ME!!! THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE TURNING! NOOO!...ok so that didn't happen. But I was bummed out. So I read the manual to make sure I wasnt doing something wrong. As far as I know I'm not. So I call my friend...he said the game turns better with the steering wheel. Which I later find out costs as much as a PS2. I've only played it a few times, but I'm pretty sure I'm bringing it back. Rent first.

No more Gran Turismo games. The racing is average at best, and the graphics, while spectacular, are also incredibly boring and WILL look dated in a few years time. It's time to move on and enjoy some other kind of racing game.

Maybe a racing game that has more action involved than simply driving around trying to take the lead all the time. I can only handle the same formula so many times before I tell myself that it's time to move on.

Have been waiting and WAITing sheesh. Pre-ordered in August already. Really hope the online aspect is decent. I have owned all three previous GT'z and know this one will be good. But come on and make with the release already. Arrrrggghhh!

Needless to say, it rocks!!!

We waited for long since December of 2004, all what we waited was this. Now, it is already released. Actually, this game does release during the Chinese New Year period. Well, it is a bit late, but it is still fine. This game is a perfect game. It is because the graphics are even much better than Gran Turismo 3 which was released in 2001. The driving and handling are fantastic. Also, they are better compared with GT3. The cars and tracks are also perfect although the license exam is hard to make it. So, needless to say, this is the game that we all wanted for long!!! :)

Yet again Sony Entertainment America has released another great gane in the Gran Turismo line. The forth edition has gone above and beyond anything that they have done in previous versions of the game. The controls are the most realistic they can get other than driving the cars in real life. This is a major step above most other car racing games i have ever played. The car line up in A-spec was impressive but the line up in 4 is even better. There are cars from countries i have never heard of, the cars anyway.
This is by far the best racing simulation out there today.

based on the pictures i have seen this is going to be an awesome video game, probably the best racing game ever. it's supposed to have over 500 cars, which gives a good variety. the only thing that remains a question is when it comes out. I have heard march, april, june, july, and mid summer. if anyone is sure of which one it is please leave a message.
