This May be the Best Game Yet

Ok, so me and my dad drive to blockbuster, i see gt4 to rent and i rented it. When i played it i was like wow, improved graphics, new cars, tracks and handling (i suggest you get the steering wheel with the game, good bargain). There is one thing you are all wrong about, there "IS" online play, go to the box under two player and you should see multi lan race which is online. Anyway they have my 3 top favorite cars, bmw m5, mercedes Mcclaren and the Aston Martin db 12 vanquish (not sure but when you go to arcade mode its the 3rd aston martin and its silver). the bad thing about this game are the glitches which can get very annoying when your about to pick a track, so you should save away because you might have to restart the game and you'll lose your progress. They have some new songs which they play in the "cars" cd player. They also have weather affects where the ground is wet and your car slides around the whole track, lol i'm funny aren't I, not. it also feels like your really driving when you have the drivers assist controls off, when you're about to go in a spin you'll react and turn the analog stick any way you can to avoid spinning out of control ( which can be hard on the rainy tracks). The lights still haven't improved but they do have xenons, racing lamps and regular lights. Other than that this game is the Real Driving Simulator and its worth the 50 dollars. I am also 14, They went over the top on the over 13 review.

Gran Turismo 4 is going to be a REALLY TOTAL AWESOME game to play

I give it a 5 Stars "Highly Recommended" REALLY TOTAL WORTH IT TO BUY & PLAY this game on the Sony Playstation 2 game system

This is a MUST HAVE GAME TO BUY & PLAY IT

This game is better than GT,GT2,and GT3 put together!

The Gran Turismo Series is the best ever! (just wish there werent as many delays for this one)

I'm personally disatisfied with this one. Poor graphics and manufacturer's defects. Youselect the first driving section ( you have 4 choices ), and then from the new menu select the 2nd course and do it in B-Spec mode, and you will see what I'm talking about.

As the race goes on, there are several times where the screen goes fuzzy to where you can't make out the timer or anything else. I thought at first, it was a bad CD so I exchanged it for a new one.. only to have the new one do the same thing. I even took the game to a friends house and it does the same thing.

Very poor quality and I would expect more from an expensive game!

This game is pure hype! There is absolutely nothing fun or entertaining about this game. It successfully irritates me and is slow as my grandma walking down stairs. The day Midnight Club DUB edition comes out couldn't be soon enough.

However good it comes.. not worth the intentional wait...

Too bad that SCEA decided to INTENTIONALLY delay this game to extend the life of the PS2 console one more Xmas period.
We, avid GT fans have had to pay for this by wating.. and waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting....
That's why not matter HOW GOOD IT IS... IT IS NOT WORTH THE WAIT !!!!!!
I hope someone delivers a similar game and we al bai out.. heck I am even considering changing consoles just for revenge.
Of course the fame will be good, but I rate dit as 1 star becaus as a Sony Playstation costumer I feel fooled, I feel used heck I don't feel.. I am SURE SCEA is playing with me.

GT3 A-Spec was possibly my favorite game of all time. However, GT3 is so incredibly different from GT4. It's tough to explain what makes GT3 so much better, but i'll try to point out some of the major differences.

When I first recieved GT4 I couldn't wait to re-live the excitement, thrill, and realisticness of the addicting simulation mode. I was blown away by the intro to GT4 and I was addicted to the game for the first couple of days or so. However I quickly found these previous aspects of GT3 lacking in GT4

As time went on, I found myself just starting to lose interest in the game. It felt almost as if I was just doing one race after another for no apparent reason. The game got quite boring and at times it was way too easy while at other times it was far too difficult. I found myself reaching a point in the game where I just couldn't continue on without being forced to race the same race over and over again in attempt to earn up for a half-way decent car.

Overall I just didn't feel the drive to continue on like I had in GT3. GT4 is really just the same as GT3 except without the excitement and a few more add-ons that just complicate the game. Especially the photo-mode that was supposively some new, exciting feature. Talk about a waste of time. To me, it's a complete bore taking photos of cars at a stand still and it probably is to most people too unless they are really into photography.

I have been purchasing Grant Turismo games since they first came out on Playstation 1. I had been hooked to them ever since until just recently. I have to pay a load of respect to the company itself because the games truly are amazing. The graphics are phenominal and the driving is just like an actual simulation. However, like I have already said I simply didn't have the interest in the game to continue spending time playing it. This may be different for other people, but if I had known that this was how GT4 would turn out, I would have been more than happy sticking with GT3.

WHY THEY TAKE THE ONLINE COMPATIBILY OFF? I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO SMOKIN DUDES IN THIS GAME!!!!! DOES ANYBODY KNOW?? BESIDES THAT ITS BEEN ALMOST 2 YEARS SINCE IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE RELEASED I REALLY HOPE THEY DONT DISSAPOINT THE FANS WIT IT, TOO BAD NO ONLINE THO ! OH WELL I CANT COMPLAIN CUZ THE FIRST AND SECOND GT DIDNT EVEN HAVE THAT OPTION SO ITS ALL GOOD BUT IT COULD OF BEEN BETTER *sigh*!.

This game is terrible! Go buy Burnout 3 or NFS Underground 2, they are MUCH better games and much cheaper. I've played many bad games before, but this is the worst!!! :K
