The best Heroes yet!

This is the best Heroes game ever! I have been an avid Heroes fan since Heroes 1, and this is the best game in the series.

There are several reasons for the excellence of this game. First, the 3D graphics are great. The game is now much more realistic, and fluid, especially the combat. Another great new aspect is that the heroes now fight, which makes the game much more interesting. Also, the heroes are much more customizable, with new skills. Yet another good thing is that there are new creatures, and all of the creatures are much more detailed in their abilities. The campaigns are awesome. Also, the new magic and construction systems are much more complex and dynamic. Finally, the interface is much like the old one, and is easy to learn.

There are many things about this game that may seem bad, but are good. For one thing, the landscape at first seems a bit cluttered, but this is necessary for the interestingness of the game, and the player will quickly learn what each image signifies. Another thing is that the player must now choose between creatures. This at first seems bad, but the player is actually given more choice, while the traditional seven-creature army is maintained. The biggest problems with this game is that you can no longer upgrade, and the fact that many creatures were thrown out, but this does not subtract too much from game play. The new features, such as the caravan and seminary, more than make up for these minor things.

An interesting thins about Heroes 4 is that it is very different from Heroes 3. Unlike the last game, I think that Heroes 3 can be played as a game completely separate from Heroes 4, and will probably still be fun. However, Heroes of Might and Magic 4 is still the best game in the series. Its good graphics and complexity make it extremely fun!

Don't bother.

This game is ok. While they have added some pretty neat new features (mentioned above), they seem to have taken out everything that was so terrific about hmm3. I liked being able to upgrade my creatures and the random map generator was the greatest thing going. Gameplay is so much slower in 4, although the campaign scenarios have better stories and a little more action and mystery to them, ie you have to complete one task in a scenario before you can move on to the next as opposed to just find the grail kind of thing. Overall, I don't think I'd really recommend this game, stick with heroes 3.

This game is not as good as the first three. They took away alot of the use of magic and your heroes no longer have any special skills any can't learn as many spells unless you are very high in level and by that time you should have already won.
The game so just buying creatures and fighting with them and the aritafacts are so so And so far a have not found a cursed one.
The game has change (ITS NOT THE SAME) some things are good about it but the first three games they made were better.

INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been an avid fan of the HOMM series since i played the second one, they are the best turn-based strategy games ever, and this new installment looks nothing less of a huge success, i for one cannot wait till march 27th till it comes out, i know 3do will do a great job with the game.

Not sure what to expect

HOMM 1 and 2 were great games and Price of Loyalty expansion was even better, however HOMM 3 was pathetic in comparison. It's the same thing that happened with the Might and Magic series when 8 came out they basically ruined the game. For some reason they have began mass specialization in their games and, at least for me, the open ended games are much more fun. I am currently of two minds about this game but I wouldn't buy it right now I'd wait for some better idea of what its going to turn out like at least thats my game plan.

Not as fun as I thought it would be

This game really dissapointed me. The grahics were really great and all but the game play and control really [was not good]. This game is really hard to play. HOMM3 was simple and way better then this.
My advice do not buy this game. This game [is so bad] that I am willing to sell this game ...

Great Game!

Taking away candies from children......

I loved Homm3 even if it was quite easy to win against the computer.

Some players claim that the AI targets there heroes and they die to easily. I really can't understand how you ever loose a hero in this game, they are all to powerfull. A barbarian fighting against 20 dragons? I think I will throw away all my arms to give them a fair chance...

This game is to easy. Having a powerful hero you wander around the map collecting all the treasures. The AI will never attack you and wait when you have build up enough troops to attack his last castle. Wow what a challenge....

Videos as a reward for finishing a campaign? No way.

Multiplayer sooooooooonnnnnnnnn........??????

There are some nice additions but with an AI as challenging as taking away candies from children you can't take it seriouly.
