I played this for months and months determined to finish it. Basically this is a poor sequal to HOM3. I did enjoy playing it but I just ignored the bad parts of the game, and concentrated on finishing. I put it up to the hardest level and still beat it easily. The HOM4 design tactic is to have jump points near your main town so making it difficult to expand. This just makes the game stupid. In no game did there seem to be a time element, just wait and build and you'll be ok. When you find an enemy in a town too strong, just move around and the enemy hero is sure to move so you can jump on them.

Hi! Guys. Nice to see you big fan of HoMM.
I have been one of a few Korean fanatics while other our country gamers have been absorbed in Starcraft and Lineage. The only reason I haven't bought HoMM4 yet is that I wanna English CD version and I had a plan on going US this July and buying there. But today I read a bunch of review at this site.

Oh. Don't ask me how I am feel now. HoMM2&3 was my only leisure in this hard times of mine. Especially, I hate a weak AI. I always set the difficulty level 'Impossible or very hard' when I play it. And also I doubt why 3DO made our heroes join the battle. God knows.

amazing adventure game for all ages. was much better than the third but unfortunately there has been a delay on the multiplayer expansion.

MULTIPLAYER IS STILL NOT AVAILABLE 3 Months after the release. They even included a nice note saying multiplayer would be available shortly in a patch. It has been 3 months.. 3D0 has lost this long time HOMM fan.

Where can I return this piece of patchware.

For all of you heroes fans out there I strongly recomend this game. If you loved heroes 3 and you are starting to get the feeling that you are a little too old for it theen this is the game for you. I bought this game yesterday and I have been playing it ever since. It is a more sophisticated version of heroes 3. The best part is the combat. Now, instead of moving your players back and fourth, it is more like the gameplay. It takes about 3 turns to get to the enemy. teh coolest part is the hero fights with you! But, to win, you dont need a hero. You can roam around as creatures who have an army. This is awesome because I was using black dragons and he was flying all over the map. This is by far my favorite computer game!!!!!

I got this game the day it came out and have been playing the different scenarios. I have been a big fan of the series since HOMM2. I happen to like this version a lot. I like the greater variety of creatures, spells, and hero classes. The only problem is that twice now I have been playing and have done everything I was supposed to do to have won a scenario and I haven't. It's quite disappointing when you are playing a game and it says defeat such and such characters to win and you do that yet you don't win (so then I eliminated all the colors and still did not get the victory screen). Of course, you can always go into the map editor feature to fix the problem.

LIke my title implies, I can't wait until this game comes out! Iv'e been a fan for about 3 weeks, when my freind brought it over to my house. Ever since, i've been looking for it everywhere, and I finally decided to come on here, and I found out about HOMAM4 (Heroes of Might and Magic 4) and I'm buying it. Heroes of Might and Magic was the only turn based stratagy game I've played, and before I played, I thought that all turn-based stratagy games where bad, but this, well, 3DO has simply made a great game!

The amazon company sends you the wrong product. They send you a cheap Ubisoft product when it is suppose to be 3DO. So you cannot get expansions for the ubisoft software for this game. Amazon needs to send the correct 3DO version of this game as shown and told to be.
