Well, now that I got your attention, let me say that this game is as close to perfect as one can get. The realistic graphics blow you out of your chair. This is the better choice over the origional. Trust me on this one. It's worth paying the extra money. Please, don't say "well, who needs the couple extra features" because it will not satisfy you once you buy it. It's not like Windows '95 and '98 where it's cheaper and worth it to get the origional. Buy Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear and have your source of entertainment for this millennium.

To all of you who are looking at this game,look no further.I will tell you right now,if you like action,shooters,or strategy,or just fun gaming,you will love this game.And it is one of the deepest games you will ever find.It has the #1 graphics of any game right now (Riven does not count).It featers a similiar design to the 1998 Action game of the Year,and has already one alot of awards.Why?Many reasons.With special effects like rain,snow,and thunder,special character effects,and over 400 motion captures,Rougue Spear is the most realistic game on earth.Most shooters feature about 9-15 cool weapons.Rogue Spear features 27! And in Multi-player it features 33! All realistic,of course.Look,I could go on for days about the INCREDIBLE achievments of this game,like it's 16 pearson multiplayer games,that features so much.But,I don't have room,so please,go to these websites to check it out,and play the demo! Good luck,and I tell you,this is the biggest selling game right now,for good reason.

Rogue Spear is my favorite computer game of all time. Lots of action, but it's realistic too. This is a definite improvement over the original Rainbow Six. The graphics are about equal, but there are new real world weapons, more operatives, and new actions, like "snipe," "cover," and "defend." Also, I think the missions are more fun. In short, this is an awesome game, and fans of action, strategy, and first-person shooters will enjoy it. A must buy!

I bought Rogue Spear because I bought R6(Rainbow 6) and finished it, but I wanted more. I heard they were coming out with a sequel and I thought it would be crumby like all sequels are I was wrong, this is 10x better than R6 first 2 more missions than R6 (18). There are more guns in Rogue spear which R6 really needed (27 in total, 19 Primary and 8 pistols) when R6 only had 12 in total, 6 primary and 6 secondary and in this game you actually need to use the flashbangs or the terrorists might kill the hostages when they see you. And let me tell you this is not one of those BS 1st person shooter games like Doom where you have health packs,nooo in this game the 1st bullet shot at you could be the last. And for all the parents buying this for their kids let me tell you this game teaches you strategy and how to pay attention because if you let your guard down that's it game over. The AI in this game is also the best in any game.

Some people might think that it is a tad expensive, but this game takes first person shooters to the next level.

And this game is from Tom Clancy who made "The Hunt for Red October."

Now the last hing I can say is buy this game or you will definately be missing out on something big.

what can i say about this amazing game, not much because i am writing from a school computer. this game has changed my life and it has changed the way i look at the quality of computer games. i just got the game a couple days ago and i already have a clan for multiplayer mode on the internet. this is just easily the best game i have ever owned and have ever played and i've had almost every game system ever made, believe me. this game just takes the cake. you gotta experience it for yourself. that's all i have time for, but i love this game and it rules and VCSO forever!

After i purchased the original rainbow six i was very impressed but felt that some things could still be worked out. Rouge Spear fixes almost all of my complaints such as being able to see through some walls, the inability to lean around corners, a marginal artifical intellegence, and a lack of weapons. The new one covered all of these and more. It is very impressive how the AI is diffrent for the computer players with more training compared to those that are amatures. The weapons are great and the ability to be a sniper adds a new twist. I would reccomend it to any one who has any intrest in the game at all.

INCREDIBLE! Just like the real thing.

Alot of things seperate Rogue Spear from Rainbow Six. 1st the graphics are much better. 2nd there are more weapons to choose from. 3rd the addition of new features like sniping capability.4th you can now do terrorist hunts and Lone Wolf features instead of just the missions and 5th alot more of an enjoyable time. This is the one to get!

I spent a few years in the military (US Army Long Range Recon), and I'm very critical of military simulators that say they're the most realistic around, but aren't. I had heard a lot of Rogue Spear before I bought it, downloaded a demo, and was curious enough to purchase the real thing since the demo seemed to be acute.

I must say, it's worth every penny!! The realism is spectacular--kudos to the motion capture that was done in the game (even if the bad guys die a Hollywood style death). The weapons , equipment, and their uses are on the mark, along with a lot of the moves (hand and arm signals, callsigns)that are done by the operators in the game. The missions are outstanding, with an unfolding storyline as you move forward through each one. The only downside to this game is the lag time when you change from training, single player (or any of the other options) to another menu. Also, the operators get stuck in tight corners. That needs to be fixed. Beyond that, the game itself is quite strong. I wouldn't be surprised if D-Boys down in Fort Bragg play this game for training purposes (and you know who you are!!).

Overall, the best counter-terrorist game on the market today. Get it while you can!! Out!!

Rogue Spear is 3d FPS computer gaming's answer to the non-stop barrage of clones. No doubt, Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 are great games, and the masses will likely love them. But, Rogue Spear and it's predecessor, Rainbow 6, have begun a new creed of 3d FPS: 3d Tactical (as opposed to 3d action).. Now, to the details. The weapon system was among one of the things wrong in Rainbow 6. All of the weapons were useful in their own situations, but the supreme weapon was always the Car-15. Now, the weapon system is expanded, and no weapon is supreme in ANY situation (due to classes such as pistol, sub-machine gun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, shotguns). Furthermore, the types of bullets have been changed. Hollow point vs. full metal jack, damage vs. penetration. These things are a huge step, as I belief that balance is a part of the answer to a GREAT game. The graphics are better, even though it could really matter less. As greatnest of R6 and Rogue Spear is mainly in the tweaking. There have been some more gaming modes for multiplayer added. And new toys as well. The heartbeat sensor was always thought to be unbalanced when teams got together in an indoor arena. Now, they have heartbeat sensor jammers, permenant heart sensor remotes (you throw them down as somewhat of a "station"), false heartbeat beacons, etc. Adding more depth and tactical cautiousness .
