This game combines basic STAR TREK elements plus the interactice storyline, and the realistic FX. I'd DEFINATELY give this game 5 stars.

...but also and amazing FPS game on its own! I have played through the demo dozens of times, and if the rest of the game is even just half as good as the demo is (and from what I've seen it looks to be even better than what was in the demo) then you will not dissapointed! This is also one of the most beautiful games available. It makes incredible use of the Quake 3 Arena graphics engine. Believe me, at 2048x1536x32 with all options on full, this is the best looking game I have ever seen, and it looks great at the lower resolutions too! The gameplay is simply amazing, making use of interactive scripted sequences, with multiple outcomes depending on what you do! The use of your teammates where they are availible is very well done, with them doing there job without any direction from you - No more having to try get them to just the right spot so that they will do what is needed. I rank this game up with Half-Life for how good it is, and it is probably the best FPS released since Half-Life. If you are still not convinced, download the demo - it is about 100mb, but it is worth it, trust me (though it is a tad short).

My dad got this free with a computer part he ordered and he gave it to me. That was a year ago and I still love playing it. I've won the game but still play it. I never do that. The first time you play it it's hard but you die and start over till you know what to do and how to win. The hardest parts I think is when you fight the hunter and when you fight the giant slug thing. I buy a lot of games and most of them are aweful, but this is great. This is the best startrek game ever.

Finally, a Star Trek game worth it's jewel case.

First, yes, the single player game is REALLY short. I actually finished it start to finish on one Saturday. Adding to the pains of the single player game are the seemingly hours of cut scenes, so many that the story almost becomes distracting to the gameplay.

And, yes, the ending is sooo cheeseball. You know, evil laughing big alien you have to kill. Same ol'.

That being said, Elite Force is the best FPS I've played since Half-Life. The graphics and detail are terrific, the gameplay is great (albeit short) and the voice acting is relatively good.

But the real beauty in EF is the multiplayer! Fast, easy and competitive, Elite Force has taken over for Unreal Tournament as the FPS of choice for me.

Buy the game for a couple days of single player fun and then work on those death matches!

One of the best first-person shooters ever, Elite Force combines exceptional graphics, a surprisingly good plot, some innovative squad-based action, and the familiar voices of the show's characters. Save for the weak ending, I can't say enough good things about this game. It's a must-have for Star Trek and FPS fans alike.

Elite Force is a really great game! The graphics are sweet, and the game play is so smooth! Each level of play gives you a challenge. All the enemies look so real, especially the Borg. My favorite levels are the ones where you infiltrate a Scavenger ship, especially the part where you are in a Mirror Universe ship. Be warned, once you get started, you won't want to stop! I made the mistake of trying to start a new game when I was almost at the end. Don't do that! The old game will erase, leaving you to start over.

I really like this game a lot. Although I haven't noticed very many jerks. Its slow at times, but it really lags after the level first loads. After that though, I havent seen many jerks at all and I have a P3 450. One thing that I don't like is that it takes FOREVER to load a level, and there's no progress bar, and the levels are short, so you have to load levels a lot. Another thing is that the AI is really bad. They don't even see you, so once there was something behind me, and my buddies didn't se me and they KILLED ME! Grr. It is nice to have the extra firepower, though. One more thing, It's way to easy.

Now, to the good stuff.

It has a very good plot. I also like how if you make one mistake, it changes the course of the whole game. The model re-makes are pretty good. However they made a Major goof in sickbay. The console is WAY out of place. But other then that the game is really good. Also, the multiplayer is really good. they did a great job thinking of power-ups. Including jet-packs.

I highly recommend you get this game. But be careful, it's addicting.

This was a great game though it was pretty easy. It is very obvious what needs to be done to get to the next level. The graphics are great, but make sure you have a good system 500MHZ or better I would say. Holomatch is really fun. You get to play other people across the net. I would recommend!

well, i downloaded the demo, played it for 5 minutes, then came here and ordered this game. its got pretty good sound (in my opinion) and the best game play any first person shooter has had, and tis got an awsome story line, i recomend this to any fan of the FPS genre.
