The sims house party is one of the best games ive played. It is lots of fun. You can control many people in a household, and invite people from other ones too. It is called House party, because should you choose to, you can throw a perty at your house. YOu can also et a job, and have a family, like the original sims. I like this type of game, because, it deals with things we dont get to do as kids. Run a house hold, and light people on fire.
Funest toy ever

I have The Sims, Sims Livin' Large, Character Pack and House Party and I love them all. You don't have to be a kid to play this great game.
Not Quite As Good as Livin' Large

Although House Party is another great expansion and must-have for your collection, it is not quite as amazing as Livin' Large. This doesn't mean that you should purchase LL instead of House Party, I'm just saying don't expect to be spellbound. HP adds, as always, over 150 new objects including the Kamprite Campfire (a great group activity), light up dance floor, and bubble blower (also for up to four Sims). As the second expansion pack for "The Sims", HP now allows you to invite over more than one person ina single telephone call. The option "Throw Party" is now available in the telephone pie menu. In addtion to party and group items, the HP expansion pack also adds three new themes; Rave, Luau, and Cowboy, which include a mechanical bull, dance cages, and Palm Tree wallpaper. For the collecter or PC game player, House Party is an excellent addition to "The Sims", but I suggest purchasing the game after you have purchases "Livin Large" as well.
A great expansion pack!

This is a great expansion pack for the sims. You get a lot of very cool stuff like new wall paper and seats. It is worth the money. The only thing wrong with it is that is goes a little slow on my computer but my friend said it didn't make any differece on her computer. So I really reconmend it if you really want a good time and love to party. If you don't like to party get it anyway because of all the cool stuff. I REALLY recomend this game! If you don't have the livin large expansion pack I recomend that one too!
This one rocks!

If you love the social aspect of "The Sims," you need this expansion pack. I love the additional party items. Its also nice that you can start a party with just one phone call and that you can hire a caterer to help with the food management aspect of partying. The addition of smaller more compact tables and theme items make this all the more a hit. This just makes "The Sims" that much more of an addictive drug.
Pretty Good...

I just expected more. The whole concept is the same, of course. Sleep, eat, ... eat, sleep, tv, ... shower, etc. There are more items and clothes blah blah but I just expected more. You can invite the neighborhood over for a party and that's about it. You're still limited as far as the social thing. It's good though. Adds a little more excitement to the game. You'll know you threw a great party if Drew shows up hehehe. Buy it if you want but don't expect anything too great. I can't wait for Simsville...
BETTER FOR PARTIES!

I wrote about the other two sim games that were out. The Sims and Living Large. This game isn't exactly better for living wise the way people talk about it but it is much better for having parties. Cause in the original games if you wanted to throw any kind of party it was already 3 in the morning by the time everyone got there. Then the police would come by and tell you to stop. This game offers futuristic items. This is a near-flawless game and it is amazing. One of the best series of games to come out on the computer since Windows.
