If you are looking for a good game to buy, you have to buy GTA3. This game is the best game out for both PS2 and the PC full of action, adventure, racing, excitement and music. YOu can do just about anything. Steal a car, kill a cop, listen to music, pull of stunts, drive-by shootings and even pick up a hooker from the streets. This game is defienetly a game worth buying! Especially at Amazon.com.
the ultimate game if your pc is right.

The game is worth [the money]. This game delivers everything it promises. However, if you don't have the right PC, then forget it. The minimum requirements as it suggests, is just for seeing the main title. The maximum requirement is basically the bare minimum for seeing major slow downs. I've tried this on two different systems and ran to the conclusion that the minimum system for no slow downs is due to the specific hardware that you have in your system. The minimum system is as followed: Windows 2000 SP2 Fat32; Ultra-DMA 52X Speed CD-ROM; Soundblaster live gamer card; 800 Mhz non-amd Processor; 32 Bit 3d Accelerated Video Card with reliable drivers; Direct X8.1; 7200 RPM Hard drive; 256K Ram; and a dang usb gamepad. Every system seems to have it's own bug, Good Luck.
Best but Demanding PC Game!

Grand Theft Auto Fan rejoice! GTA is back with a vengeance on PC. Awesome graphics, large cities, hilarious radio. Be Warned: This game requires a heck of a PC to play (I have a 32mb GeForce 2 MX and it struggles some!) I recommend a P4 with a 32MB video card or better. You should keep this game away from children, it has intense violence, language, and sexual subjects. Overall it is a great game and can acheive better graphics then on the Playstation 2 version. You can cruise the cities listening to any style of music (Hip Hop, Rap, 80's, Talk Radio, Reggae, etc.), I recommend the Talk Radio station, it is so stupid its funny. I recommend this game to all users as long as you think you can handle it.
Awsome

I got this game but i had a little trouble. First of all i would like to identify those people making a fuss about the graphics and how "The Could Of Drawn it" and theres only a few of them anyways. Mabey if you people would enter the 21st Century and get a good Video Card then you would find the ultimate pleasure that millions around the world find in this game. And ecspecialy the one comparing it to Elmo's World? Come on. This game is extrodinary with few problems but those problems are correctable with patches that should be coming soon. Note: I found out that this game dosent do very well on Nvidia Graphics cards. So if u have one and notice a stuttering and slow motion thats because of the compatibility problem. Patch, I dont know yet. Im just getting a knew graphics card anyways Great game Definately Buy it.
System Requirements Are Higher Than You Think...

While this game is a blast to play, I think the system requirements are understated. If you have a sub-700mhz computer with a 16mb graphics card or less, DON'T BUY THIS GAME YET! The graphics are very detailed and your computer will not be able to play at full- or even half-speed. If you're cooking with a pentium 3 or better, have a 32mb graphics card, and don't have children running around, you should definitely check it out!
I was able to play this game on a celeron 500 system with a 16mb graphics card, but it was pretty choppy. Running on a Pentium 4 with a 32mb graphics card was much more fun.
Overall, GTA3 seems to be pretty reliable. This game has NEVER CRASHED on any system I've played it on.
There are great cheats available in case you get bored or frustrated trying to accomplish the missions. ...
Also note... there are known issues with certain models of graphics cards that have not yet been patched... for more information on patches and bugs [search the internet].

My brother and i used to play this game when it first came out for PC. I wanted the game because it brings back good memories, and its so easy to mod. you can personalise everything, including what your charachter looks like. you can put your favorite cars into the game, and even some of your favorite buildings. Love the game. I reccomend it.
Long, Complex and Outstanding.

This game is certainly worth its money. Despite its high price tag this game is worthwhile. It is long and will take the best gamers a while to beat, especially with the options for Vigilante, Fire, Taxi and Medical sub-missions. Those who like Crazy Taxi will enjoy this game too; all one has to do is carjack a taxi and then can play the virtual equivalent of Crazy Taxi to their heart's content. Multiple perspectives in the view and remarkable level of detail only add to the enjoyment of this game. The rich and detailed world of Liberty City is alone worth exploring for its artistry but the fun of attempting to locate "Hidden Packages" adds a useful motivation to explore and appreciate it. This game is a must have for hard core gamers in search of a game that will last for more than just a month or two, providing multiple challenges (jumps, racing, physical puzzles and good old fashioned gang warfare) strongly resisting the inevitable defeat all games face from persistent gamers!

GTA3 is possibly the most fun game on the market today: for the first 8 billion times. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game with wonderful plot twists and stunning graphics, but after a while, it can REALLY get boring. After you've done the first half, the second half is essentialy the same missions in a different order; bomb this, steal that, kill them. But one thing overshadows all that: The sprawling design of Liberty City. Only one word can describe it: unbelievable. You don't know true fun until you drive a flaming car off one of Liberty City's 3 bridges and explode in mid-air, possibly taking down a chopper in the process. A must have for action fans
One of the greatest driving games out there

The earlier developers of GTA and GTA2 weren't too successful in the pride of their games, but that has been finally resolved in which a new Grand Theft Auto has been engaged, a fully 3-D capable game where you can view straight ahead instead of looking down. This reform has strived Rockstar Games to their peak.
Three, interactive cities. Now, we're talking some big downtown areas, people! The first city is wonderful, capable of discovery, and unending realism. Oh darn, getting chased by three die-hard cop cars?? Head for the el-train (an overhead mini train), go out of your car, and head into the train, where you will say "sweet!". Let me tell you, it's an awesome feeling escaping them that way. You've got bridges, boats, el-trains, subways, roads, highways, hills....even airplanes!!; it's basically everything you have ever wanted in a driving game!! And all this is functionable or accessible!
Textures for the buildings, physical features are good. But only one problem. Slow down. Once you unlock the second city, and head into the downtown area, you'll notice an apparent amount of drag in the speed of the frame rate. But that's only a pretty minor flaw.
Missions will get tougher, though--they're your only key to unlocking the next cities. You'll deal with some characters, or big shots from Manhattan.
Sound is pretty good I must say though. Like turning on the fire siren and the horn, or using the tank to blast a cop car to oblivion. Every mission is exciting because you get to discover something new--it's adrenaline-pumping
Also, while playing the game, are you low on cash? Find an ambulance, fire truck, taxi driver, limo driver, police car, or any other authoritive vehicle and you can enter missions that allow you to, say like if you're in a fire truck; you are allowed to put out vehicle fires and get paid for it! Another great feature in this game.
Why only four stars? Well, graphics, gameplay, sound, value are all very realistic, the slowdown flaw does get annoying sometimes. Don't get leery though. Get this game if you're a major fan of midtown madness (another pc game), or just plain destruction, and I mean destruction! It's suitable for anybody who loves to drive around in big cities, going into underground trains, or going into a boat and into the new city.
