ALSO I DO NOT BELEIVE IN ANY OF THE STUFF IN THE GAME I AM ONLY TWELVE YEARS OLD JUST BUY THE GAME READ THE OTHER REVIEWS

This is The best game...hands-down. this beats all other 3rd person shooters by far. GTA3 is my favorite game, I'm obsessed with it. In fact it's gonna start being shipped tomorrow. I like the missions "blow Fish" and "the Getaway" myself. And the island I like the most is Staunton.

Has some bugs

I own a AMD athlon 850 and it gets a little jerky on some areas I don't know what it is but my computer makes the recomended requirments. NOT MINIMUM and it still isn't doing that well. Some system it does well and others it doesn't I recomend it if you have a 1.0 ghz or higher. otherwise you probably may think about it.

This game is far superior to any other game that I have played. Basically, you have to climb your way up the ladder of criminals and eventually meet the girl who told you to "get lost" in the very beginning of the game. You do this by working for people, doing missions like the one below:

- Find an icecream truck
- Steal it
- Drive it around where these people are located
- Get out of the truck & hide
- Once the people get to the truck, blow it up (hence, killing them)

Yes, that does sound a bit odd.. However, the game makes that funny with its "interface", if you will. The sound quality is excellent, and the graphics are unmatched.

Anyway, I only have the PS2 version. I must say that if you want to run this game properly, buy the PS2 version instead of the PC version. It seems that many people are complaining about the quality of the PC version.

Gameplay 10/10: You can do almost anything in GTA 3. You can shoot police, kill pedestrians, kill gangsters and take their guns and money, explore all three cities, pick up woman, beat up people and more.

Graphics 8/10: GTA 3 has good graphics. The cars look great, the buildings look great, the people look great and the plot looks great. But GTA 3 has minor problems with some computers so make sure you have your computer specs to at least 800MHZ CPU, 32MB videocard, and 16M-ound card, 64MB RAM or 128 MB RAM. At these specs GTA 3 for PC will run well.

Sound 10/10: The cars sound like real cars, pedestrians say stuff, and the voice actors are great.

Value 8/10: The game is long in length but the minor computer spec problems hurt the value.

Replay 10/10: You wont stop playing the game for a big while. One of the most addicting parts of GTA 3 is killing people, killing cops, getting chased by cops, and more.

-If it werenýt for the minor problems that this game has, GTA 3 would have been better on PC than PS2. If you have a PS2 and a computer and your thinking of buying GTA 3 buy the PS2 version because you wont run into problems like in the PC version. But if your computer is good enough to run GTA 3 buy the PC version.

-If you have a 800MHZ, 32MB videocard, 16MB soundcard, 128MB RAM or 64MB RAM, Windows 98 or higher, and 700MB of free hard disk space the game will run well, but there will still be times where the frame rate drops due to a lot of action in the screen.

-If you have a 1.2 GHZ, 32MB videocard or higher, 32MB soundcard, 128MB RAM or 256 MB RAM, Windows 98 or higher, and 700MB of free hard disk space the game will fit perfectly on your computer.

Grand theft auto 3 is the best game ever. When the tv comercial said GTA # was from the creators of max payne i had to get it. There is so much do and see you can do other stuff not just steal cars like be a cop be a fireman be a paramedcic a cab driver it just so cool te onnly bad thing is that sometimes you get stuck some were near a car thats on fire and when it explodes well u get the idea..

this game is not that bad. Mothers and fathers shouldn't get to worried about it. It is fun while also being entertaining. The pc game has been looked over and some of the bad things have been taken out. It is now a fun and well made game that all people should own.
