Anyone who wishes on buying Unlimited will not be disappointed, although there is nothing too flashy, the new Scenario's, Landmarks, Tilesets, Seasons and Trees to choose from will keep you occupied. Very good game, I love it!

Looks VERY promising

I have played SimCity 3000 already when I borrowed it from afriend. It was strangely addictive. I mean, I loved it! And from whatI have seen and heard, SC3k Unlimited will be a game I won't regret buying. It is a good thing too that it isn't completely VIOLENCE orriented, as my parents somewhat disagree with that stuff. That said, I can also say that it isn't violence-free. After all, what game is? However, the only violence comes in the form of natural (ahem) somewhat-natural disasters. Such as Aliens dropping glowing-green bombs all over, tornados throwing cars through the air, and giant locusts plaging you sims. But the only REAL violence is when the player himself (or herself) saves their game, opens the disaster menu, and cackles with glee as he or she CALLS down aliens and tornados and locusts. Ya. Well, if you've had any pleasureable experiences with this series, all I can say is that this game is a great way to spend your free time enjoyably controlling a metropolis (with out the first-person exploding heads mayhem)...

A Great Expansion!

This is a Great game! It has all Sim City 3000 had and lots more! If your a fan of the Sim City Series than you like this game. As a bonus you don't need the origonal Sim City 3000 game to play Sim City 3000 Unlimited. Many new features to play with and over all a Great Game!

Not As Good as the Previous One

This version of the game is not as fun as the previous Sim City was. The only disasters in this one include, plague of locusts, tornado, space junk, UFO, toxic cloud, earthquake, whirlpool, and fire. You can't even recreate the 1938 New England hurricane in Providence, Rhode Island, on this one (I tried to). Either stick with the previous one, or get the latest version.

Fun and better then the original, but gets somewhat boring.

I loved Sim City 3000. I adored it. I played it everyday. For about 2 weeks. And then I didn't play it. I liked it, but it really got too boring for me. Now when I heard of SimCity 3000 addon I got excited. I learned about this rather early, beacuse I had some connections with the company Maxis and my website, which closed down, called MaxisNews. It was hard to wait, as it looked really good, much better then the original. But when I got it, a lot of the features were pretty useless, such as the Ticker maker. The disasters were pretty cool, and it seemed a lot more detailed, but, I would rather play The Sims anyday. Oh yeah, by the way, Maxis is releasing The Sims Multiplayer soon. Better check it out! Fun! (But a little repetitive)

This is a great game where you build your own city, make your own laws, and maybe defend (or instigate) it from natural and not so natural disasters.

The graphics and sound are great. (I was Really impressed by the soundtrack!) The game is a classic! It's easy to loose yourself for hours in the experience. However, after building about my 5th city and destroying it I got bored and went outside... I'll be back though!

I like this game alot. i play it at my friends house only because she has windows 98. I think they should make a simcity 3000 for windows me. Sim city 3000 has really cool stuff. You can build your own city or use one thats already in use like Frankfurt, Germany or you can make your own city. If you get sick of your town and become bored, for fun you can desstroy it by a tornado earthquake and ufos and other cool stuff like that.
The producer of this company should make it for all windows and if yuor making it for windows me your taking a long time.

Amazing!

Wow. Thats all I have to say.

Oh yea, and yes this is a bit of a complicated game so I don't recommend this to impatient people or younger people (who tend to be impatient anyway)

Not even close to worth the money.

First, this is not a "NEW" game, it is an upgrade for Sim City 3000. There is no new elements to this game, just some new features and scenarios for the original 3000. Second, and more importantly, the game runs "SLOWWWWWWW." Even on a PIII 500MHZ w/ 256MB of RAM, once you have a population of over 1 million, the games starts to creep along at a snails pace. The new scenarios and editing tools are cool, but defenitly not worth purchasing a whole new game.
