I finally found the full 15 level game at Retrosoft - $9 + shipping. Hate to take away from anyone else, but the 7 level demo just doesn't get it - makes you want more!

yeah, it's a dumb game. you shoot things that come at you. no brainpower needed. no mental fibre challenged, and yeah, some might say it's a bad thing.

for everything there's it's place. You don't wear a tux to a rock concert. You don't wear jeans to the opera. You don't play Serious Sam when your brain is asking for high phylosophical values of human morality and how it affects the wisdom of a human being. You play Serious Sam after your calculus test, when you're in college.

Serious Sam may be the dumbest freaking thing to ever hit the comptuer game market, right after DOOM and Quake, etc. But it's just so fast-paced, so well scripted and so easily addictive, that I have decided that it's the best way to 'relax'. After my calculus final, this was THE game in my box for about 2 days straight, and now I feel much better. It's a fancy stress reliever, a great adrenalin buster. But if you think you're too much of a snob to enjoy a simple game like that, then I'm sorry, you're missing some GREAT fun there!

You all sorts of weapons and one of the best is you can play it on 1 computer with a friend and using 1 keyboard and 1 mouse, but you can only use curtain joysticks and you can play online as well.

The Best First Person Shooter

Serious Sam is actually the best first person shooter I have ever played. Compared to the pricing of the other games this is also very cheap. The graphics are seriously hard core with one of the best graphics I have ever seen. In addition there's a lot of blood and gore as well as enemies. In some games its always the same but here the levels totally difer from another and next to all the shooting there's also quite some good puzzles and sercrets to be solved. The enemies are original and well designed. The game also offeres four player games. Its split screen but you can play cooperative or deathmatch. This doesn't slow down your computer too much and as long as you have something like a joystick keyboard mouse and gamepad there should be enough controlers. This makes the games especially fun on parties or sleep over with friends. Even online play offers fun and a diveresity. I hope that you have as much fun with it as I have and will always have. I seriously think that this is the best first person shooter yet made.

This was a good game, but it didnt have much of a storyline, and it was terribly short. In spite of that it was very fun, it gabve you an arsenal to blast away aliens in egypt. I have to give some compliments to croteam on their rendering, i havent seen 3d models that good since need for speed 5. Good job croteam. If you want buying advice, i say get it if you want to beligerantly blast away aliens. It is very arcadeish. It was worth [the money]... If you have a lower-end system, stay away from this game, it requires some beefy hardware, I reccomend a geforce 3.
So the final verdict, its a blast em game with no story and has good graphics, will get old fast but is fun. Go for it!

I just bought this game last night and now I just find out this is not the full version. DO NOT BUY IT! :0

The graphics are some of the best I've seen. Couple this with some of the environments and I looks like a his res still picture instead of a game. I agree with another reviewer that is can get old fast but when you get rushed by 100 or so creatures, you get into it again. The only complaint I have with this game is when you get trapped in a room and they send hundreds of creatures at you to kill before you can proceed. It became predictable after a while. I would like to thank them for not putting a level where you have to jump from platform to platform level to where you can fall to your death type of situation. THAT gets tired quickly.

I guite seriously found this game lacking GUTS.. it's just too squeaky clean computer mindless. Where's the BLOOD PULSE LIVELYNESS DIZZY EXHILITARE, RAZZLE DAZZLE?
