RTCW is, without a doubt the best 1st person shooter i've ever played. I love the storyline, as it unfolds a bit live a movie as the game goes on. I love all the weapons especially the 'Snooper Rifle' because of it's heat sensing ability. I think the sniping bits are the most fun as the guns are wicked and it is so realistic, apart from the occasional zombie or 'X creature'
I would definitely reccommend this game to anyone who loves 1st person shooters with great guns, great storyline and that are great fun!
This game is so much fun!

Not since the first time I loaded Half Life have I been so impressed by a FPS. This game really lives up to its hype, it's levels are designed very well. The graphics detail are stunning and max out the QIII engine, the voice acting and plot is great, most importantly, the game is just fun. Multiplay is also a blast. I'm not a huge fan of FPS genre of games and I probably wouldn't have even tried this had it not been for my new video card, but this is one is truely exceptional.

This game rocks, no if, ands, or buts about it. The graphics are the best I have seen on a first person shooter (Only Half-Life and it's add-ons compare graphically). The cut scenes and the story are excellent. Everything is basically dark in color, but it gives you that WWII feel. The AI is very good as the soldiers duck behind barrels or walls when being fired at. And if you shoot someone in another room they come in with their guns ready. The game is fast paced and runs very smoothly. The on-line play is different from any other. You attack from a beach and try to make it to the objective. Sometimes yu only capture flags. Other times you have to blow up a building and steal gold which you must then take to truck while many opponents try to stop you. This is the best team oriented on-line play I have ever seen. You have 4 choices of characters and each has it's own specialty i.e. an engineer is the only one who can set dynamite. It's the best first person shooter since Half-Life. If you love first person shooters, this is the one for you.
Wolfenstein is back with a vengence!

I must say, and an avid player of the old Wolfenstein 3D, this game was worth waiting for. I remember endless hours of fun, wondering through hallways, searching for Nazi's to decimate, and this takes that experience to a whole new level. The graphics are just excellent. That's the only word to describe it. It just seems so real, you actually can eavesdrop on your next unsuspecting victim's conversations! I love the new arsenal of weapons, even though I was a little disappointed when I found out there was no Gatlin' Gun as in W3D, but that can be overlooked. My only gripe is about the zombies you have to deal with. Did those really exist in real life? Then why do we have to deal with them on a WW2 simulation? I'll leave it at that! GET THIS GAME!
XP/3Dfx Voodoo owners beware!

You will have to take non-trivial steps to get this game to work.
The game requires DirectX 8.0a+. Windows XP ships with DirectX8.1 and 3Dfx Voodoo drivers, but those drivers do not support DirectX8 at all.
Believe it or not, Voodoo owners are now reduced to picking among about a dozen sets of drivers written by "3rd parties" (quotes because it's very hard to tell whether or not any of them are reliable at all and/or have security problems).
Typical 3D Shooter

Good game, nothing really ground breaking. Soldier of Fortune & Half-Life are better.
It is fun and that is all that matters

The fact that this game could have possibly been a mod, (and they are current mods/games that are similar) does not take anything away from this game. The single player is good fun, although short. The multiplayer is class base and is reminiscent of the TFC series, but the graphics and the theme is what is entertaining. The gameplay is smooth, and for the most part balanced, and it is clear when a official SDK comes out the mod and map potential for this game is almost limitless. Its ties to the original is loose, and even if it didn't have the name of Wolfenstein, it would still sell as it has. I can only say this, the game is fun and that is all that matters
Very good game

RCW is one very nice first person shooter. Using the Quake engine makes the graphics alone worth the buy. But with its price tag that alone is not enough to convince someone to purchase it. The enemy AI is good. As an example when you are detected they don't simply come charging after you, rather they
take evasive action and get reinforcements. So as a tactical tip take them out as you see them. Elite guards are more inteligent than the regular guards. The monstors are a big pain.
If you want a shooter which will give you the mix of killing sprees and more calculated stratergic take-downs then this game is for you, with good graphics to boot.
Quite Interesting Piece of Work

This game was designed quite well but all in all its a bit short. I do recommend buying it even if you have never played the original. Worth the 50 dollars but not much more than that. The replay value is a bit low
Great Game!!!!

This is one of the coolest games I've ever played. It's like World War II meets the X files . The AI is amazing. Whlie one use's covering fire to pin you down, onther sneaks
up behind you and opens fire at point blank. The graphics, oh man!
The character models are awesome. I recomend this for at least 11 and up. AWESOME GAME!
