Takes me back to the days of the original Wolfenstein. Going around a corner and sound, a soldier, a beast scares me out of my chair. Love the return to the sounds and music that got me hooked on these games way back when; I was king of my block with a 40 meg hard drive and everyone came over to play at my house. The hints that you get when you listen in on soldiers conversing and the pages left lying around to look at for clues add a dimension. More than a shoot em up game this is a thriller. I can see playing it once, knowing the plot and story and never playing again. Until I get to the last level I will not know. I play all the time and my wife pretty much hates the game. Good sign, haven't been this hooked since starcraft!

If I was to own only one game, this would be it. Everything about this game is so far ahead of "ANY" other software! If you enjoyed "CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN" then "RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN" will blow you away. I would reccommend it for anyone 15 years or older. Of corse this is my opion and some younger players could enjoy it also. It is a little bloody even gory from time to time but that is part of the game play. But you won't find a better playing game content or one that scrolls as good either. Hey you know you want this game. SO GET IT NOW and enjoy it NOW!

Return to Castle Wolfenstein contains all the elements of a well-made first person shooter. If you love killing nazi's and completing fun missiong without too much difficulty then its wonderful. I really enjoy the game and am sure you will too. The WWII theme is great for history lovers and missions are detailed and exciting. This game does a wonderful job of bringing you into the action, and putting your own life on the line. Easy mode is great for those without much gaming skill. Buy it and have fun!

Wolfenstein is back, and better than ever. Activision did a GREAT job on this one, the gameplay on the demo is fantastic. I experienced almost none of the server lag associated with online games, and the rounds were fast, furious, and intense, without becoming tiresome after playing many rounds. The multiplayer options for character are really a nice touch. 5 stars.

First there was multi-player death match, then Capture the flag, then there spawned a number of variants, that brought other aspect of play to the teams. Now ID comes along and does it again, taking team play, focused objectives, in a historical theater or war that every one is familiar with and makes a games that does everything right !
Take a tried and true story line, ( Kelly's Heroes / The Guns of Navarone ) the ever closer realism in graphical presentation of a incredible immersive environment, the challenge of human interaction, multiple character classes, some of which are Soldier , Medic, Lieutenant, and an Engineer each one with a fixed weapon class, You might get some choices , but you chose before you start playing , and then until you die you use the tool you have chosen, you cannot carry an unrealistic number of weapons or ammo, If and when you hit A medic may heal you or when you die you come back at fixed certain intervals as the reinforcements. Having to wait for reinforcements encourages you to patch up your wounded, multiply this by both sides and you get a variety in the make up of teams that will create and online gaming environment that will have a hitherto unknown number of variations.
This is a must buy for any online gaming fanatic that want's to participate in the making of history over and over again ...

I have an Athlon 500 and a mid-range graphics card and the game looked smooth and beautiful. The fire and explosion effects were stunning and the sound was very good. I'll buy this game, which says a lot, since I've purchased 3 games this year.
