I have tried to install this game several times. The first time it errored out after asking for the 2nd disk, it immediately said that it needed the first disk again. After inserting the first disk it just errored out. On the 4th try, after several reboots, it got 90% through, then had the same error after asking for the play disk. Upon cancelling the installation, it mocks you more by leaving an unclosable error of no disk. If you want this get XBOX or PS2 version, PC version is better as coaster set!!!
The storyline is great

I bought this game on on disk it only worked in a DVD drive. It is in no way the greatest game i've ever played, but for the price it is a great buy.
Buy the XBOX Version!

Ok. I played this on the PC at a friends. Was not impressed. Then we loaded it up on my XBOX after making a trip to Blockbuster. The difference is simply AMAZING!
The XBOX game has to be the best I have ever played. Beats Max Payne, KOTOR, Jedi Outcast, and SWG any day of the week.
GET THE XBOX VERSION AND BE AMAZED!

If you had a choice to take the red pill or blue pill...
I advise that you take the blue pill on this game.
I have played many games in my day and i would have to say that "Enter the Matrix" is NOT an enjoyable game. It has to be by far the worst game out there currently. If the shoddy graphics doesn't make you sick to your stomach, the player's controls will. You have to have Neo's abilities just to work through the controls if the game. I actually put this game down and instead, went to play pick up stick because at least that was more engaging. The movie is awesome but don't let this part of the matrix have you...take the blue pill and avoid how deep this rabbit hole goes.
this game has problems!

I got this game yesterday and I really like it. The graphics are pretty good. The only problem I had with it was that the driving part was awful. It was overall very good!!!

After 7 hours of trying to just install this game and various trips to the Atari tech support... I am now the proud owner of 4.... Enter The Matrix table coasters.
How this company could release a PC game that can't even install correctly is beyond me. By far the worst game/product I have ever purchased on the internet or anywhere else. It is as close to outright ... that I have ever seen.
This game is so full of bugs, you seriously have to be quite computer literate to have a shot at getting this to install let alone run on your PC.
If anything get the console versions... save yourself the pure frustartion that is the PC version of this game.
Horrible, absolutely positively horrible.
good and bad

Enter the matrix is a great game; if you have a good computor. it has a few graphic gliches. as soon as you start to throw punches, it becomes very choppy. i would suggest using the unlimited fucus cheat. (see gamefaqs.com for others also) focus makes it much smoother. all in all, if you're a pickey gamer, this game is not for you. oterwise, have at it. overall a great game
Not worthy of its name

It's not that I'm not a Matrix geek. I have the trilogy, I watched the Animatrix, and I have total faith that future games released be the producers will be much more stable. The problem with this is its stability.
For a setting that involves such an extensive amount of software engineering and security, you'd expect the reality to be a lot better than it was. I've owned this game for a year and a half, and have run it on multiple machines--every single one of them has issues with it. Occasionally, I'll get it to work, and within a month it'll come up with some new crap like the sound ceasing to work.
The second problem is the general blandness of the filmstrips in the game. There are overt repeats between scenarios, too. I wasn't impressed.
Finally, let's not forget about how *terrible* the AI is, especially when you're depending on it. Success in one of the stages involves complete chance! This is DEFINITELY something I expected better from. I spent nearly fifty dollars on this game, and it was the worst purchase of my life.
If you're looking for something quality, the same company is releasing an apology (literally) titled "The Path of the One." I've seen screenshots, and it looks much more promising. Also, I've heard good things about The Matrix Online, but I haven't played it. I don't reccomend you buy this.
