Not a good game(for me)

Well in the first place im not a big Halo fan, and second, i dont see why people would wait at a store all night just for this(about the stupidest thing ive heard of and seen). So I know people are gonna be mad...SO WHAT. this is just my opinion, if your a big halo fan then go buy it im not stopping you, but for all you people who wonder about buying this..dont! Save 60$ and pay off your bills. Ive played Halo 2 mutiplayer online(the big thing that makes halo good. i guess) and yeah after about 20-30 minuets i got bored as hell. Again this is just my opinion so dont get too upset..you'll hurt yourself so you cant play this game for today. And so i gave it 2 stars for all you halo fans out there.

Must Buy for HALO fans or non-HALO fans

This game is AWESOME! I had a doubt this game wouldnt reach my expectations but it did. Anyone who gets this game overall will be happy, yeah the storyline is not all great but its the Multiplayer thats makes it Shine. This aint just any simple review but a smart one that knows what a good game really is. You get HALO 3, you made the greatest decision in your life.

DUDE! Unless your a NEWB or totally GAYY then you already know that HALOE 3 is da ultimat BOMB KNOW WHAT IM SAYIN!!!!!!!! some dudes try to be all like yo halo is gaylo like jaylo but I just said talk to my hand cuz im masterchef from da block get it!! anyway in Halo your get to be masterchef!! masterchef is this awsome guy who is totally not gayy or a newb and never gets pownd and wears this bada$$ armor and has huge gunz or gatz like eminem calls them know what Im sayin!!!!!!! And masterchief is fighting space men called the covemint who are trying to take over the world and have all the power and glory just like what IRak is tryin to do but thats different story which is why we are at war with irak and will defeat them in this war - just like HALOE!!!! Do you hear that Irak?? So then you fight all them spacemens who are all totally gayy and it's all really not gayy though the way you fight them because masterchef likes women. And one women in particular. Your MOM hahahahahahahaha. Anyway if you are like me then you OWN when it come to multiplayr. I totally hop around ALL OVER the map even the really high parts and I can snippe from real far away and you can't even see me where I am cuz I am snipping then hopping then powning you then making sure you know that you are totally gayy unlike me who is the big man on kampus at Rockfield Junior High- GO TIGERS!

I didn't find halo 1 or halo 2 for that matter to be all the great, although I did enjoy playing them none the less.

All in all halo 3 is a good game but like the first and 2nd one i didn't buy into the hype because in all honestly i don't think any of the halo games were all that great to begin with, but hey that's just my opinion.

Halo in general feels like a dumbed down FPS so retards can enjoy mindless killing of enemys.
- there is no real duck and cover, no looking around walls/corners...etc

I still feel like gears of war 1 <--- one for crying out loud, is a better shooter than halo 3.
Gears of war still holds the title for best shooter on 360.

SHUT UP GRAPHICS COMPLAINERS!!!!!

I absolutely hate people who say "WAAAAA!! THIS ISN'T A GRAPHICS CHANGE FROM HALO2!! WAAA!!!" SHUT YOUR FACES, YOU SONY FANBOYS! I HAVE A 480P TV AND I CAN SEE A GIGANTIC DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 2 AND 3. Halo 3 and Gears both have lifelike graphics. Such as, look at the explosions: tank blasts, rockets, frag grenades. They all look amazing. I particularly liked the effect of explosions on pelicans and phantoms. I've seen the PS3; it's only great game, resistance, doesn't have a such a huge graphical difference.
People say the arbitor campaign is terrible, but what do you expect? He and the elites are with the marines now, and they help save the galaxy.
I'm absolutely happy that bungie did all the nit-picky details I thought they'd forget. Such as, I wondered what would happen when chief ran into the arbitor. They solved that in the first 2 minutes of cutscenes! I like the addition of 2 new grenades, and, of course, the assault rifle. The ending was average, but later I thought that they put themselves in an awkward position, and they didn't have much of an alternative.
I don't have Live; I only got this game for the campaign. My only 2 games are Halo 3 and Gears. For the missions alone, not to mention the co-op, they are both worth it.

I just picked up my pre-ordered copy today and could'nt wait to come home and play it. It looks and plays almost exactly like Halo 2 for the original Xbox. Graphics are about as good as Far Cry instincts. Not much has changed since Halo 2. It's still a fun game but they hyped it up too much. After 3 years in the making, I expected much more. I'm going to continue to play Gears of War until something better comes along.

HALO is one of the most over-hyped games out there. Its an alright game, but all the people who think its the greatest game in the world... its not. If you want a great game play Resistance Fall Of Man for PS3, that game blows halo away.

I managed to rent this game yesterday. Besides the multiplayer over XBox Live, what else is there to this game that hasn't been made better on the PC or even another game? Nothing. This is a niche game, along with the second one, to a huge crowd of non video game players who like to play Halo 2 over X-Box Live. You know the type, they bought the X-Box 360 just for this game, they've more than likely never played any other game outside of the FPS genre, and they're also likely to 'love' a game before they even play it, thus removing any criticisms for when they do play it. (the latter being similar to the insane Final Fantasy crowd, but that's a different story)

However I must say something surprised me after this game came out: the reviews online for Halo 3. Besides reviewers giving 9.9s and all that jazz, their reviews usually imply a much lower score; and, hilariously enough, in many cases the reviews were given by those who have already shown themselves as being in the 'Halo' crowd. Money, hype, and biases are clearly at work in giving reviews and thus, how this game has been marketed as 'the best game ever and never will be beat'.

In summation, if you're looking for a good story, a great single player campaign, and a time consuming and complicated FPS then why are you reading this review? This 'game' is almost exactly like the other two. If you still play Halo 2 over X-Box Live religiously, then by all means buy this game. Otherwise don't even bother.
