I'm not a Halo fan since i haven't played halo 1 or 2 campaign or multiplayer that much. I got Halo 3 cause it seemed like it would be the one that would be worth it. I haven't completed the campaign yet, but so far, it hasn't impressed me too much. It isn't anything special or revolutionary. The game play hasn't offerend anything unique that i have noticed (though i like the vehicles). I think Gears of War brought more fun idea's to the table than this game did.

It's pretty much just a "running around and shooting things" game in a shiny new skin. I'm sure the halo fans and the multiplayer fanatics will find more interest in this game than i did. To each his own.

Considering this is supposed to be Microsofts "flagship" game for the xbox, i expected more. This game is way more hype than follow through. However, i do enjoy it and dont regret buying it. It's worth owning imo.

First, i do not suck at halo, im a level 41 in lone wolves, which is pretty damn good for those of you who dont no.

But honestly, playing halo is INFERUIATING. You can get killed over and over and over because someone has a sword, or rockets, or shotgun. Now i no your thinking, well why dont you just stand back and kill them, or be careful. Well i dont want to have to camp outside in the open where people cant sword the hell out of me and wait. ITS A FPS, your supposed to shoot, not wait for another guy with a much better weapon to come out and rape you.

The weapons really arnt ballanced. And Bungie wont even create just one playlist with no noob weapons, just like BR's and AR's. They created a great franchise but bungie, really i hate you.

Anyways, the story makes no sense, ive played through all three halos at least 3 times each and it still makes no sense. The mulitplayer is unblanced and just inferiating to play.

BUY COD 4. In that game you can have the worst weapon in the game and still kill someone.

MUCH BETTER, DONT BUY HALO 3 !!!

I was a big fan of the HALO series, very big fan, i remember when i first bought the game it was amazing to me, until i went online and played xbox live,i dont know what bungie was thinking when they made this point system nonsense and the lag and unfairness of this system really makes me think that HALO 3 was created by a bunch of lazy pigs, ( BUNGIE ) I PLAY CALL OF DUTY 4 everyday now, I put down halo 3 cause i should have fun playing games, not getting stressed all of the time. BY FAR COD 4 is much more entertaining than HALO 3. besides the graphics in HALO 3 are sub par, and represents laziness on the part of BUNGIE. I might sell my copy for about 10 bucks.

Hi,

I really wana get Halo 3 but I'm nearly 14 and my mom says that since its a mature game i'm never gonna get it to play. I think though that if I get people to agree that a very close to 14 year old can play Halo 3 please say yes to this and say the review. I am very grateful for you reading this as I could need nearly 50 people to agree for my Mom to let me but thank you for your time.

The story of this one goes, you crash land on earth, close behind is a covenant dropship (yes the ones from halo were you hapily gunned down all the little aliens inside with your machine gun as soon as it opened) They set up base on eath and you go to check it out. the trailer ends there. I think you can pre order it on xbox.com but am not sure. i hope they bring back the blood gulch map i think they left that one out in halo 2. but i hope they dont add anymore controls. the xbox controler is allready confusing.

I thought Halo 1 was a great game, Halo 2 was okay (the online portion is what made it) good story for both, but I didn't like playing both sides in 2. FPS its still one that grabs my attention and I will purchase it when it comes out.

as for all the arguements, all you PS3 fanboys need to calm down if you think your system and games on it are good, then thats great, stop wasting time trying to down other games on a competing system just for no reason, esp games that aren't even out yet.

and halo fanboys, Halo is a game that speaks for itself, people that argue its not this or that, let them think that, the sheer amount of units sold and amount of online players is what speaks for the game not people post "omg your a noob and stupid for not liking halo" that does nothing but make you look bad.

anyhow Halo 3 will be a huge release I only hope the game lives up to the hype its getting

I bought a 360 elite just so I could play Halo 3. So be forwarned I am sllightly biased when it comes to the Halo franchise. And while everyone is entitled to their on opinion on things. Stop bashing this Game. This game is not for everyone. If you don't like first person shooters please stay away from this game and go buy something else. And this game is definitly not for young kids. (Hence the Mature rating.) However this game is little short of incredible. The graphics of course are much improved,the Artificial Intelligence in for the most part (aside from a few minor anoying glitches on the high charity level) is very challenging and smart.The multiplayers is as always awsomely great. The new mape editor (also known as the forge) bring an interesting new element to multiplayer matches. The Solo game did seem short but it was like a vintage bottle of wine...in short very,very good. It seems that some people are having trouble pplaying Halo 3 on their 360's to be perfeclty blunt the problem is probably with their 360's(or with an odd defective disk) Everyone I've talked to says their copy plays fine. The Halo games may be bashed by some and is not everyone's can of worms. However they hold a special place in my heart because Halo: combat Evolved was the first xbox game I ever played. So I say to all those who are being picky and just don't like the Halo Games ...TAKE YOUR OPINIONS AND KEEP THEM TO YOURSELVES!!!!!

the hardest part of this review for me was what to give this game overall 4 or 5 because did i have fun playing this game? hell yeah i did but it just feels like something is lacking, thats not to say i dont love this game because i do i really do. first off the story is once again the weakest link just like H2 but its fun and hard, VERY HARD! playing this game on heroic is like playing H2 on legendery. Now the multiplayer thats where this game shines, it simply rocks. everything is big in multiplayer this game will last a lifetime on mulitiplayer. so in conclusion do i like this game? yea i freakin love it thats why i gave it a 5 but do i think it could have been better i truly do. but buy this game its an experience like none other. one last thing ITS TIME TO FINISH THE FREAKIN FIGHT!

Great shooter in the Halo series, better yet the best Halo to date. Xbox 360's performance really shows through here, I bet this would be choppy as hell on a PS3 espessially the multiplayer.

Well I would like to say is that Halo speaks for itself. Untill you roll through the single player game in about 6 hours. I understand that Halo is online multiplayer at it finest but some of us would prefer a little more story. Basicly I would like to thank MS for not putting a HD-DVD drive in the 360 Elite so our games keep their wonderfully short gameplay. Unfortunately 8Gb of storage just dosent cut it for HD games nowadays. (Here come the fanboys, let me have it) But seriously I just purchased an Elite and though it may contain the 65nM chipset the lack of a HD-DVD drive and HD-DVD game support makes my nice pretty console a Halo rig and nothing more.
