First off, I've played and beaten Ocarina Of Time, Majora's Mask, Link's Awakening and both Oracles games. This is the best out of all of them by far. In agreement with one reviewer, graphics are not important and I think this game is light years ahead of any "next genration" RPG or adventure. The story is amazing, the characters are cool and a little humorous, and the games difficulty is just frantic and hard enough to challege without frustrating you too much. If you don't have this game, go to a pawn shop because until you've played this, you can't consider yourself a true gamer.

A GREAT GAME

This is one of the best rpg/adventure i have ever played , a link to the past is long, full of surprises, the difficulty is medium ( my favorite) and after you play you always get some urge to play it again many, many times.

This game is in my opinion, the best of the Zelda series. The storyline and the gameplay are superb and the graphics are really good for the age of the game.

Still Play It

Have had this game for years and still play it
every once in a while (when I can get the SNES to work properly)
If anyone still has a SNES and haven't played this game and still buys games for it then buy this game it's a must have.

The best Zelda game ever!

Zelda, another great video game series. While the original Zelda and Zelda II rank among the top Nintendo classics, the third installment in the long-running series is not only a classic as well, but the best in the series. I really liked Link's Awakening (for Game Boy) and Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64, but THIS is the best of Link's adventures. The music, gameplay, everything about it is top-notch. The level maps were also very unique and challenging. If you are new to the Super Nintendo, GET THIS GAME. I can't stress that enough (for those of you who read EGM, Zelda 3 was rated as one of the top 5 in the best 100 games list)!

One of the best Zelda there is

This game is one of my favorite Zelda's. Yes it even beats ocairina of time for 64. I say that because the story line is good it sticks to the legend. The game is a real challenge its the hardest zelda ive played, I have not played the first two for regular NES tho. This is a great game it is one of those games that bring you to the edge of your seat.
thank you

Best one in the series.

Pack in a quest-oriented version of the original The Legend of Zelda with updated graphics including a 3D overworld map and a new storyline scenario, and there you go. Graphics for SNES are a 4.5/5, sound and music is a 4.5/5, fun is a 5/5. One of the top 100 of SNES titles.

a kick ass game

This game is one of the best videogames I have ever played on any console and I have played games on almost evey console made to date. This is a classic game and should be played by everyone who loves games. This is one that proves you do not need fancy 3d graphics to have a truly great game.

I am a 13 year old kid, and I am proud to say that "This is the game to own for any Zelda player." This is the missing link of Zelda. Not only will it provide years of fun (not that the game takes that long) but, it will also created or even rekindle any Zelda players' sprite. It follows strict story lines, but makes you think that this really happened, that some teen went out and seeked to destroyed all evil. Even the instuction manuel is highly interesting. The manuel tells a complete story history of Zelda, such as the inscription of the historict verse from Hyrule's bible "The book of Mudora," "In a realm beyond sight, the sun shines gold not blue. There, the Triforce's might makes mortal dreams come true." But the game is not the hardest but can take a long time, about a dungon every three weeks, but you don't even notice how the time flies, because of the story. And if you get stuck you can always have a resource to help you like nintedo's help hotline, or player's guides. There is even a great battle in the end followed by a dramatizing movie, which in turn will make you want to start over and beat it again.

Surgon General's warning "this game is highly adictive and can lead to excesive radiation levels transported into your body due to many strainouly hours of play time."
