I LOVED this game!!! EVERYTHING is great!! I have an emulator and I have this game on a rom (ZSNES, the best SNES emulator) and I REALLY enjoyed it. It's WAY better than the N64 games, and the only thing that makes the N64 games any better is the graphics (no offense to those 2 great games...). Anyway, GET IT, or get the rom (obviously cheaper).

THIS GAME IS GREAT!

The prequel to "Legend of Zelda" on nes.

This is the one that started it all for Link's adventures. It tells how the young hero first meets Princess Zelda, and his fate to save the world from the evil Gannondorf, and his alter-ego, Aghanim, the dark wizard.

I like the levels in this game too. The first 3-levels are in the WOL(World of Light), where you must retrieve the pendants, while the other 7-levels are in the World of Darkness. Finally, when all the crystals in the 'dark-world are combined, the last confrontation between Link and Gannon begins....

Indeed, this is an excellent RPG-game.(along with "Zelda II: Link's Adventures" and "Link's Awakening".) I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF ZELDA!!!

Great I love it. The game is cool they sould make the game harder and have more boss's than before. If you have not play the game you sould because the game is any other game that I play before in year's. I have two games of (Zelda) there are (The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time) and (The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask) there are a great game you sould go and buy it and play it yourself. The game is fun you get to go places like under water on top of a mountain's and in cold caves inside a big fish and forest's ocean's rocky mountain's and graveyard's. nd saveing the world in the nick of time from evil king Ganondorf and stop evil monsters in each dungeon in the game. and saveing the world again... Now go play the game.
PS. play (The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past) that's a good one too.

This game is the best game ever, especially being on a 16 bit system. It has the basic stuff like all zelda games, but in this you must travel between the light and dark worlds. This game is so good that is is also on Gameboy Advance alogn with a new multiplayer zelda game, Four Swords. So GET THIS GAME!!!

incredible game

There are few series of games that i follow through with. Zelda is one of them. and Metroid. But Zelda has always been one of my favorite stories. its jsut so intriguing to me. the princess in trouble, the young hero, and the evil demi-god villian. This one is simple but surprisingly addictive. well not really that surprising. its a great game! Super Nintendo was the best system ever. and this game shows it.

GREATEST EVER!

Yes the graphics are 16bit. But they hold up so well. OoT looks dated and is almost non-playable amongst the newer standards of the next gen 3d graphics (the draw distances are terrible). But LttP was and is at the fore front of sprite based games and is a hoot not only for nostaglia but also something I will offer to future generations of gamers as a true classic. What great story, and twists, and fun gameplay. Like a favorite moview that you cherish and want to relive, I take my time to enjoy each aspect and have never raced to get through. A rarity in gaming.

A winner, no wonder a million seller

As most of all the other reviews state, this game is a must-have. You can get all sorts of weapons and items and such, and battle interesting people and bosses.
Everybody says this game has fantastic graphics, but really it looks like a pokemon game boy game which is why I took off a star.
In the game, there are soooo many places to explore and things to find.
Buy this game now........

Nothing less than the best game in the world.

Link's third adventure, "A Link to the Past", is, in a word, mindblowing. It's still the longest 2D Zelda game to date - and, quite frankly, the best. Everything about this game is perfect, from stunning graphics to excellent music.

This, my friends, Is the best game ever created.
