The Greatest RPG for the Super NES

I am a huge RPG fan and one of my favorites of all time is Chrono Trigger.

Some things that stand out from other RPG's is its battle system, one of the best I have ever seen, the music in the game is also unforgettable. Also the anime style characters, drawn by the creator of Dragon Ball Akira Toriyama are very well drawn. Yuji Hori-the lead designer of Dragon Warrior oversaw the story and game design and also did a great job. Chrono Trigger also had 13 different endings!

Overall if you are a fellow RPG lover and you haven't bought this or played this, that's a slap in the face because Chrono Trigger is one of the greatest, go get this, NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Unlike many people who reviewed this product before me. I did not get to experience the marvels of this amazing game when it game out in the USA some 6 years ago. I, like you, the buyer will experience this game in an era of 3d games, where story and gameplay and genrally rated lower than graphics.........

but don't be fooled!! this old game has survived the very crucial test of time and the graphics are still in my oppinion worthy of mouth watering amazement as they were so long ago. And to add to that the originallity of this game is incredible, if you thought you had played an RPG........you have not seen anything yet, without seeing this.

Buy this game now and buy a journey that will lead you beyond the end of time. In the journey that can only be called breathtaking- Buy Chrono Trigger

It was the best game I ever played...even better than the final fantasy series... though sometimes I dabate about that... but still A MUST GET. I mean you have to get this game its better than any other rpgs and challenging enough to get you involed for months. Literally.

this is the best game i have ever played. it is also my first rpg, so naturally, i have to give it something for that. the music score is beautifull, the story line is engaging and exciting and the characters are so funny!!! it is deffinatly the best game ever created. and the graphics are good, for super nintendo. i have probably played it 15 or more times, and i have it on playstation. This is the best game EVER!!!!!!

If you werent around video games back when the SNES was the greatest system then get this game now. It will show you that the Super Nintendo is the best system ever. In my opinion, the SNES was the best system because of this and the Final Fantasies and others. The graphics on this game are outdated but they are perfect for it. The story is one of the best out there on any game. The gameplay is pretty simple compared to FF. This is an intermediate RPG but it has many side quests to get special items like the Rainbow Sword.

I have played many rpg's in my life. I started to play rpgs with the first nintendo. This is the best rpg I have ever played. I have struggled so many times trying to find a game that matches its uniqueness and its excellent story-line, but I cannot seem to find one. I have played every single final fantasy, granted they are good games, but they just do not match up to chrono trigeer. Its sequal chrono cross does not even come close to chrono trigger. They made the game, chrono trigger, come so alive and it was so hard to ever put it down. I hope one day one of the new gaming systems will come out with another game as good as this one. I am looking for it and keep buying many boring games looking for one.

Chrono Trigger was the first RPG that I really got into...now of course I play Chrono Cross and FFVII and I've played RPGs before Chrono Trigger, but just the pitiful attempts of a little girl. Chrono Trigger had a great story line, and it was fun to play through. Some RPGs get really tedious after the first five discs (or at least it seems like it) but I played Chrono Trigger through at least five times, and played parts of it dozens of times. It is the best RPG I don't think there will ever be one as great if I live to be 1000. Seriously.

Don't miss playing this game as the original or re-release. This is one of the 3 essentials for the SNES RPG player. Not much more needs to be said, if you play this game you will not be disappointed...and if you see all the endings, you're a lucky person.

this game has it all, and i mean everything! great graphics, gameplay, storyline, battle system, maps and 11 endings! this game is a must buy so, if you don't have a super nentendo than get one, or get a PS2/PS and buy final fantasy cronicals.

Can't really say much more than that. The combat, the movement, the plot, the magic system, the items, the maps, the vehicles, the NPCs, everything just fits together perfectly and the final boss fight manages to be exciting and challenging without being impossible. Still the best game ever.
