Pretty Good Game

I was very excited when I heard that The Lord Of The Rings ROTK was coming out on my birthday, (NOV.7) and I was a fan of The Two Towers, so I was excited when ROTK came out. I got it, and it said it's two players, and online playable, and I freaked. The Two Towers had 1 player and no online play, so I was excited about that. So I played it and beat the whole game in 3 hours straight. NO cheats, walkthroughs, nothing. I enjoyed the game, it's ful of action, but the graphics I was a bit disapointed with. It was good and all but they could have done alot better with it. I liked the game becuase it had three storyline; Path of the Wizard, Hobbits, (hard) and the Path of The King, which was my favorite. That was one thing that made the game alot better, each path had about 4 challenging levels. The music/sound was really good, and the gameplay can never get old on 2 players, and online is just as fun. With new upgrades, skills, and cool unlockable characters, this game is excellent and worth buying. This game is hard to put the controller down, and so much fast meele fighting and explosive battels, it makes the final chapter of this game awsome. Or is it the final chapter of the game, wait till next fall to find out!

this game is way to hard if ure 13 and under. youll get to like the third level on every guy and then its like impossible. its bad because when u get to these levels ure [in trouble because] there are no codes, you have to beat the game to have codes.

Lord of the rings is a really fun game. It is very challenging at first but then it starts getting really fun. I recommend starting with the path of the wizard, then path of the hobbits, then the path of the king. Some levels are really fun(Cirith Ungol, Minas Tirith, Southern Gate, Crack of Doom) and some border on the terrible(Paths of the Dead, Pelloner Fields, Shelob's Lair)but once you beat it and unlock everything things get really fun though the secret characters are basicly just clones of Aragorn and Sam just like Isildur was a clone of Aragorn in the Two Towers. It is also a blast when playing 2 player co-op.

Awesome

I've played in both single-player and co-op modes. This game is awesome! Even after many, many hours of gameplay and level restarts, I still love doing battle. Gandalf was hardest to play in the single-player mode. My boyfriend and I just finished co-op mode. The only negative was that you can't jump between paths as in single-player mode. After completing the path of the king, you take the path of the wizard, you have to complete all those levels before taking the path of the hobbits. A walkthrough guide helps sometimes. Excellent challenges, graphics and upgrades provided many hours of hack 'n' slash entertainment.

A Challenging, but Fun Game

This third installment in the Lord of the Rings series has a superior control system, and extremely fun missions, it is lacking, however, in one key aspect: it is impossible to skip cutscenes unless you have already seen them. Each cutscene has clips from the movie, which you will have undoubtedly seen if you are willing to shell out the money to pay for the game, so I don't see why you are forced to watch the cutscenes. In the game, you are able to play as any of the original nine members of the fellowship (except Faramir replaces Boromir), but Faramir, Merry, and Pippin are only unlockable once you complete the game. Each character is unique, and the way that each character does combinations looks slightly different, adding to the realism of the game. All in all, it's definitely worth getting, especially with Amazon's low price.

A fun action game

While there are more characters to play then the two towers, they do not feel a whole lot different. Also, I still feel less like I'm in the movie but in certain scenes from the movie as the cutting is large and continunity is off. But it is fun, and I like the multiple players options. Recomended.

Great Game to a Great Movie

The game is challenging yes, but beatable. I like buying new weapons and fighting the challenging characters. Co-Op is better and easier (Inless you play with your dad who is like not the best at video games and gets lost easily lol) but oh well it's good. Some parts are hard to figure out and it took us a while but we still beat it. Now along with other people we can't figure out the Smeagol round. Hard... heck yeah. But still I recomend it to anyone!

5 Stars all the way!!!

Great Game! May be a little short but its very fun. I find myself playing it over and over with friends and by myself. The only this is that it is short, but then again so was the Fellowship and Two Towers. I recommend buying it now that the price has dropped. Great game!!! Online play isn't to bad, I would recommend it to any Lord of the Ring fan. And the selection of characters is great. Your not forced to be one character. The graphics are good. Opponents pretty smart... The only con I have about the game is that the characters dont move there lips when they talk, and you have to watch each movie clip. Gets a little annonying... OVERALL - GREAT GAME!!!

What a whack!

This game finishes the trilogy nicely. There are tonnes of things that you can do that can't be done in the others: slide down ropes, use more characters, fire catapults and hell more! The graphics are amazing, and you get to wear cloaks too! There are new moves that are sweet, especially with Gandalf and his staff. The levels are a bit hard, but once you start using your head properly, you can get out there and have fun!
If you come past this game in a shop, don't wait for second chances; buy it!
