I'm not a big fan of this game but it's definately alot better than the other 2 (especially the first one, one of the worst games ever in my opinion). I love the books and the movies were great but the games I wasn't impressed with. A plus on this one is that it will give you a challenge at times. This is definately worth renting but not worth buying.
did they make worthy battles??????

I so far love this game I baet it in three months and the enemies dont put up a good fight. they some times just remain still and dont bother to attack. there are only a few hard levels in this game the black gate and pelenor fields and minas tirith top of the wall. the trolls dont put up a figth either.
The only hard enemies in this game are oliphonts and enemies with life meters. Over all a good game.

This game is so fun. I play it all the time. It's pretty easy to play in co-op but in 1 player it can get frustrating. I taught my five year old sister to play IT Rocks

Hobbits! I probably spent 3 hours trying to beat the level of Shelob's Lair. I think that the hobbits shouldn't be in this game at all. There's a 1 in 80 chance of a hobbit level really being fun. Sam's so bad I can't get him past level 4. And Frodo! I don't even want to talk about him.

This is a really great game. When you play this game you experience the experience the characters in the sstory experienced. The best level is Cirith Ungul. When you play the game, before you finish get Gandalf, Sam, and Aragorn/legolas/gimli.
It is the kewlest game ever!

Great Secret Characters

The best part about this game is the secret characters. The secret characters are Pippin, Merry, and Faramir. At first I thought the secret character instead of Faramir would be Eomer. I mean Eomer is a much better character then Faramir, even though Faramir is pretty cool. I wish that u could play as anyone, like Elrond, Haldir, Boromir, Theoden, Eomer, Eowyn, Arwen, etc. The Fellowship of the Ring movie would have been better instead of Arwen meeting Frodo after he got stabbed at Weathertop, that the originall character Glorfindel would have been there. But besides just the characters, the levels are great. accept there are a few levels that are in the TT. Maybe instead of the hobbits while they were in Osgiliath, maybe they shoulde of had Faramir there like in the movie when the orcs ride ashore, and you would have to defend Osgiliath. Personally my favorite characters for each race are. Men: Eomer, Hobbit: Merry, Elf: Haldir, Dwarf: Gloin, orc/uruk: Lurtz.

Like The Two Towers before it, EA's Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is pure hack & slash action. Loaded with even more action than the last game and containing plenty of extras that fans of the films will enjoy, you are thrown head first into battle the moment you load the game as you begin fighting in the ultra epic battle of Helm's Deep from Two Towers. From then on, Return of the King basically follows the three seperate paths of Gandalf, Frodo, and Aragorn; while allowing you to play as Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, or Sam in different scenarios. The hack & slash gameplay against hordes of enemies mirrors that of Two Towers, so those who enjoyed that game will most likely enjoy Return of the King. The graphics are somewhat better than before with some improved character models, while the game's sound and music are excellent. All in all, fans of the Lord of the Rings film series owe it to themselves to pick this game up; it's the best video game to use the Lord of the Rings license yet.
