Kirby Canvas Curse is just like Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land and Kirby Amazing Mirror , but instead of moving Kirby he rolls along by himself. While he rolls along happily your 're trying to keep him alive! Kirby Canvas Curse might look easy , but as you get farther it gets even harder . Like Machine Mansion , I got 2 game overs before I could beat it!
Kirby Canvas Curse will get harder and harder so if you don't get something I advise youtogo train in training mode before you keep going.
You also have medal trade , mini games, rainbow run , and boss battles my favorite boss is King Dedede because you get to race against him on a mine cart. I hope you enjoy it because I like it a lot!
FUN FOR ONE

The first time that you play this game and beat it is always the fun part. After you locate all of the secret areas, large buttons, medals, and you buy everything in medal swap, then once you start over there is no more challenge in the game anymore, and you know what will happen in the game. Here are my ratings.
Plot/storyline: Pretty cute, not very exciting for kids older than 9
Time length: takes a long time on first try. From then on it's always too short and you can finish it very quickly.
Content lenght: Three goals: Full area-exploration, collecting all the medals, and buying all of the items at medal swap.
8 levels to complete 5 times. 3+ screens in each stage. 3 stages per level.
Layout: Wonderfull landscapes in each stage. But while playing the game you don't have time to notice it for very long otherwise you could lose life points. Fast-paced music; faster than the other kirby game music. Good color scheme. Logo: Very colorful circulor ring around the pink word "Kirby" which has a red outline. In the selecting screens (Modes selecting, item selecting in medal swap, level and stage selecting in main game, sub-game/boss selecting, etc.) background patterns look more like robot parts close up and they do not go well with the theme.
Positive changes:
*you can now stun enemies. You can now defeat enemies just by dashing into them.
*More goals to reach!
*More difficult main game!
*play as multiple characters.
*New enemies
Negative changes:
*The boss battles are now the EXACT SAME THING AS THE SUB-GAMES!
*There are less room guarders; the boss-like ones with copy abilities are no longer there.
*You can only save progress at the starting screen.
*There is only one path to the goal in each stage.
*There are only 5 main game items.
*There are only 11 copy abilities.
*Less enemies.
Overall: You should not buy this game for teenagers! Preteens, rent it and finish it once! Kids younger than 10, this is a good game!
Note: The above rating is an average of what I suggest is what most teenagers, preteens, and children ages 7-9 would most likely think of this game. Do not imediately judge this game by the rating. The rating: Overall: 2+1/3 fun: 3
The rating at top is rounded off to the nearest one.
The game is a winner, but its not perfect

You guide kirby through 8 worlds with each world having 3 stages.
You can move kirby by touching him to give him a little boost of speed, and by drawing lines, letting kirby follow their path.
The game may have great gameplay and color-coated graphics, but there are some problems:
1.copy Abilities;Any kirby fan knows what these are,but in this game they don't help you that much because you lose the power to give a speed boost.sure, using the ability gives you a boost, but its just not as helpful.
2.Three Lives;this is a problem with all recent kirby games, you may be playing through the game, getting 1-ups along the way and may have up to 10,or 14,or any number, but when you turn it of and turn it back on later to play again,BAM! you only have 3 lives.
Which is definatley a big problem since many stages can get you frustrated
3.Level design/health;in the beginning, the stages are fun to play, but later on in the game, levels can have an annoying design;one level has lave walls that hurt you if you touch them, and since there are many of then surrounding you,it can be very hard not to get hurt.Other stages have rising floors, and many have little sections that don't allow you to draw paths for kirby, but those are usually fine and no problem.
Along with this problem is your health;you only start out with 4 bits of health, which is a change, because regular kirby games start you out with 6 bits, but this game is far from regular.
you can get 3 more bits of health by buying them with medals that you collect throughout all the stages, each stage having 3 medals a piece.
Overall, the game is great,it has awesome gameplay, fun bosses and minigames, unlockable characters and line colors you can get with collected medals from the main stages and a time-trial/ink conservation mode. DS owners should not miss out on this game, despite its flaws.
IT'S OK...

I just got this game today and I've already completed it within 2 hours. The game goes by way too fast. Thats the only problem I have with it. It is definetly not worth $35. WASTE OF MONEY!!! Othere than that, its a pretty ok game even if it did last me 2 hours. Instead of buying this, I would recommend nintendogs for DS! So much more fun and definetly worth the money!!!

Kirby has been in a long generation of Games Few good Most bad
I am a huge kirby fan i have all his games but i cant say i liked them all. But this one is an acception. The DS did a great job of using the pointer thing. You would use it as a Rainbow line to guide kirby around and up and down kirbys enemies. The Game was very well done. But i excpected Better Graphics from the new Nintendo DS system it was very well done. I give it 4 Stars overall
An okay game.

This game is okay but not one of my favorites. When I first got my DS this game came with it I played it and started to enjoy it. But after a while I got bored of it. It seems all the levels are the same with the only difference being the backrounds. It was also rather easy all you really need to do is wipe the DS pen across the screen a couple of time and before you know it the game's over. This game would be a lot better if they'd make it more longer and challanging.
Over all this isn't the best Kirby game I own.

At first, i thought this game would be a let down on my B-day but after about five minutes i started to see the fun of this game. So far, you won't find any other game quite like this, or with your little pal kirby for that matter. I would recomend this game for any fan of kirbys or even people that aren't. Pinball look out, kirby is scoring hits!
KIRBY AT HIS BEST!!!

THIS IS DEFINITLY THE BEST KIRBY GAME IN HISTORY. THE GRAPHICS ARE EXCELLENT, THE LEVELS ARE EASY TO UNDERSTAND, AND THE NEW STYLUS REALLY HELPS THE QUALITY OF THIS GAME OVERALL. I THOUGHT THAT THIS GAME WAS REALLY WELL MADE, AND THE STORYLINE WAS VERY WELL WRITTEN. THE WAY THAT KIRBY GETS TRANSFORMED INTO A BALL SEEMS REALLY BORING AT FIRST, BUT WHEN YOU PLAY THE GAME, YOU NOTICE THAT THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST GAME THAT KIRBY HAS APPEARED IN. A REALLY COOL FEATURE IS THAT KIRBY IS CONTROLLED BY YOUR TOUCH. YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO MOVE YOUR STYLUS, AND KIRBY WILL FOLLOW YOUR LEAD. THE BOSSES COULD BE A LITTLE TOUGHER, BUT EASY IS GOOD TOO. THE ENEMIES HAVE NOT REALLY CHANGED SINCE THE AMAZING MIRROR, BUT THEY DO HAVE NEW SPEED, AGILITY, AND ATTACKS. THERE IS A REALLY COOL MINI-LEVEL TOO. THIS IS WHEN YOU MOVE KIRBY IN AN ALLOTED TIME TO SEE HOW FAR HE WILL GO. THIS GAME IS DEFINITLY WORTH BUYING, SO BUY IT NOW!!!
A good intro to the DS touch screen

This is a really good "first game" for the DS because it is a great way to get used to using a touch screen. I will admit that the main game could have taken longer to beat but it can take forever to try to get all the medals (I've had the game for 9 months and I only need 3 more... which I can't find!) Basicly the game runs as follows:
Drawcia, some witch or somthing, has turned kirby into a ball that you can guide with the magic paintbrush (your stylus) by drawing lines to move him, shield him, or you can just scrible in the corner of the screen. With your 'paintbrush' you and Kirby will go through 7 worlds with 3 stages in each after that you fight Drawcia. There is also Rainbow run on the Main menu which is all those worlds(except Drawcia's) in which you do timetrials and linetrails. There is also medal swap in which you trade medals you get in Rainbow run or find in the stages for items such as new line colors, life boosts, and after you beat drawcia new balls like meta knight and king dedede.
Also there is a fifth ball you can get in 2 ways and a way to get another mode on the main menu if you wish to know about those please continue to scrol down
Waddle doo ball: Way 1: after having had beaten Drawcia put Kirby and the amazing mirror in the game boy advance slot. When you reach the main menu it will anonce your new ball.
Way 2: beat all the worlds, and Drawcia with all the balls (king dedede, wadle dee, meta knight, and of corse kirby). After beatting Drawcia with your last ball an annoncment will appear saying that you unlocked the Waddle doo ball.
Jump mode: you must beat all the worlds and Drawcia with all the balls, including waddle doo. Then an anoncment will appear saying you unlocked it
