Great game but kinda dissapointing

As far as Ive expect from a new Command and Conquer game, lots of new featurs and units, etc are all there. Except one very dissapointing aspect was the graphics. It may look very appealing to people because it does look nice...but its the same memory taking graphics as every RTS game out these days. I loved command and conquers unique slick graphics they had but not EA has to mess that up gave in to that empire earth kind of thing which i never really liked :\.

c&c generals is an awesome game where u get to be a general of course and can control an army either the usa china or a strong terrorist force of the Global Liberation Army(GLA). u can build a strike team and have infantry tanks helicopters and jets.

for example china u can bild red guard tank hunters hackers and black lotus agent for infantry for armor u can bild troop crawlers wich cum with 8 guards battle master tank dragon tank gattling tank nuke cannon inferno cannon and over lord tanks and for aircraft u get mig. but the only little flaw is when u zoom in on a ranger his gun acutally looks like a metal pole not much a deal any way.............

Let's review: My friend has Yuri's Revenge, which is really fun, so I thought I'd get a C&C game too. When I heard about C&C Generals, I was so excited. I ran out to the store and bought the game for $...When I got home, I wanted to install it right away. Let me tell you, I have one of the newer computers, but this thing took FOREVER to install. Finally, when it did install, I felt like screaming. That's because I was watching the opening cinematics. It was running so incredibly slow, and the music was constantly skipping! Then I got to the main menu. Omygosh! Don't even get me started! The animation was beyond horrific. It was skipping and it was slow. When I tried moving the mouse, it took forever to move! And, once it did, it disappeared! Half the time I couldn't see the mouse!!!!! And then (get this), IT BOOTED ME OUT! It sent me a window saying, "Sorry, a serious error has occured." UGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! And guess what, I didn't get to play ONE STUPID UGLY REEKING SECOND of this stupid game. Don't waste your $$$.

The GLA= more along the lines of America's top rated enemy right now... Lets face it folks... and liberals who are still in doubt America is at "WAR."

This game C&C: Generals, was made after 9-11-01, it's a perfect reminder of what kind of world we live in... China may be our "TRADE" partner... but they are not an allie... as for the GLA, even though they are fiction... They are exactly like a certain group...

Now to all the whiners who said stay away from this game... Go to heck liberals... The point of this game is to be fun... Take out the GLA and China... USA...

The 3D gameplay they attempt here just doesn't work. It's not entertaining and addictive like the old RA 2. They should put effort into making a Red Alert 3.

This games seems to be very racist for one which was a factor in my rating. Graphics are a major improvement. Game lacks a real plot, the plot is boring, no movies like previous versions. It can get kind of sluggish.
The strategy has not improved much, still make the best weapons and more weapons to take over your enemy, no real new strategy improvement.
Bottom line... not worth the money

Command and Conquer games are the best games ever, the people that wrote bad rewiews don't Understand the game. You Do Click And Build and Attack BUT you have to use stratagey and know how to make a good base and playing online is another thing to do after beating the game or get tired of playing the computer,online the people have diffrent stratagey and you have to find it out and try to beat them.So Dont make the game look bad just because you dont like it or dont know how to play or understand.

Buying this game when it came out was a mistake i think to this day. C and C previous titles were ones to marvel at, this one is one to chuck in a garbage can. The missions are somewhat amusing and the terran is ok, but the subject of the game that really mad me, dare i say, cry, was the game's shortness and terrible unit graphics. In Generals, you play in 3 campaigns, terroist, chinesse, and AMERICAN, however, with only ten missions, +or-, you can get through the game, quite quickly. Also, being in 3D, i expected some quality of the game sprites, or on ground units, however, they dissapointed me greatly. With its extreme shortness, lack of modes, and basically, i came to conclude that this game, fell far short of reaching the shrine of C and C games

Generals is one of the best RTS out there. You get awesome graphics and full three dimenstions and great sides of all three sides are different. High tech america, terrorist GlA and muscling China are alll different. Only one problem, the solo play has really dumb A.I so if you don't play online consider Rise of Nations more.
