THEIS GAMEES IS ONE THE WORST ME EVER PLAYED.IT ES MUCHO BLOODY, POOPLES ON THEIS GAME RE NOT SARMT AT ALL! TYEH TAKEL INTO THEIRS MICROPHEUONES AND SAY STUPIDO STUFFS. I ALWAYSES GET ME SHTO BEFROE I GETS TO MY BYU A GON. ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US! WHNE I GO OTU PEOPLE CALL ME A NUB, WHTEVERY THAT MEANSF. OD NOT BYU THEIES GAME, IT SUCSK BAD NARODS.

I started playing Counterstrike nearly when it first came out, beta 4. The game used to be fun, but eventually, do to cheaters, the game deteriorated. Many people play this game in ways that many would consider cheating, or unfair play. Due to the frustration caused by this, the game has lost its value. Also, many people don't play as a team, but instead go solo or "rambo style" as I like to call it. Considering this is a teamplay game, when people don't play as a team, it really is no longer fun. Another thing about this game is that it has optional voice chat. I don't know about you, but I don't want to hear some little kid barking orders to me, let alone do I want to hear some people talking about anything while I'm playing this game. In conclusion, this game is not worth it anymore. It'll be fun for a few weeks, but once you get used to it, the game is no longer fun.

This is a really great multi-player game. Incorporates real life techniques and gameplay with a touch of originality for a really interesting gameplay.

First, I did not buy this retail version since I already own Half-Life; I dwonloased Counter-strike off the internet and from what I have been seeing on various BB's, there are only minor functional differences. Anyway, the game tries to be realistic in pitting Terroists against counter-terroists in a variety of sceneriors. The weapons are based on real weapons and are the coolest part of the game. You can unload with a large machine-gun, or stand off a bit, zoom in, and snipe people with your sniper rifle (one shot, one kill). However, you have to save up money to buy the better weapons. Unlike most FPS games, if you die, you have to wait until the mission is accomplished, (which is usually no more than 2 minutes, assuming you die early); you do not respawn immediatly upon death. This can be frustrating but adds to the addictivness of the game as you plot your vengence. The graphics are average since it relies on older technology, the Quake II engine, but are adequate. (Aside: I hope the developers use the new graphics engine coming out by the makers of Unreal). Finally, the community of internet players is widely developed and it is one of the most played games over the internet. This is a very fun, very addictive game.

this is the best game ever!im not kidding and im not lying.This game will top any other game that u think is better.The combination of ur teamates and the weapons the objectives it is VERY addicting.for 30 bucks it is a joke I will promise u u will at lease play a 100 hours the first week u get this!
P.S. if u dont have a t least DSL plz dont play this onlne ull only lag me and all the other players!

This game is the best game i have ever played!!! I love multiplayer action games more then anything, but this one tops it off. i have had the game since the day it was realsed. There is not a day that goes by that i dont play it. i'm telling you no other multiplayer game compares to it!! so if your in the game store wandering wich one to pick up, dont be stupid!!! go for counter strike!!!

I have been playing counter strike since beta 6.6 and i have loved it ever since.. I have tried all the first person shooting games.. None of them are like this. I have tried quake, unreal, half life, opposing force, i have even tried team fortress. Nothing tops counter strike.. If you are into games such as first person shooters, and you want action get this game. You will want to get your hands on this game.. If you get this game get on ... and play at there servers.. I will be on there everyday, my name is [Apoc]Coldfusion..

In the April 2005 PC Gamer magazine, it showed the top 50 computer games of all time. Half-Life was #1. This is basically a sequel to that game. VERY fun, except when you're in a server with hackers in it. Just make sure to never give your CD key out and to go to steampowered.com and download steam to play it (For version 1.6). Then go to Browse games and register your CD key. Once you do that, you won't be getting as much sleep as you had the past few years.

I have been playing Counter-Strike for over a year now and have loved every minute of it. The latest release adds some weapons and changes some of the uniforms of the characters. But as with everything out there, there are some drawbacks. First, Boost your video card and memory. Do not run this on the internet without at least 128MB of memory and a good Video card with 16MB. Second, the faster your internet connection the better. I run over a cable modem and when I'm in an area with 10 or 12 other people, the video gets real jumpy. On the other side though, the support for this game is out of this world. There are sites all over the internet supporting the game and answering questions. If you are looking for a great game, look no further.
