do not buy call of duty 2

It costs to much and its very bad. Its to much like the last one and the graphics are terrible. there is only about 5 knew guns and they are all very similar, so if I were you I would not buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just the same old game that you beat in two hours and then throw away... if you are so rich that you can throw 50 bucks off the window for 120 minutes of staring at a computer screen, go ahead... I know it's a contradiction to spend time in front of a computer screen writing a review to complain about how much a waste of time this game is, but hopefully, a few minutes of my time can save you 50 bucks.

this game is basicly a replica of the original cod.The main differences are the DX9 graphics and a couple of new weapons. Aside from that the gameplay is really easy to play, and shotguns make the gun a little boring and lame when you see players strafing back and forth with a 1 shot 1 kill weapon with basicly perfect kill accuracy from close to medium range.

The weapons are not really authentic, there is basicly no recoil on all weapons, just a little upwards drag.

The sad thing about the DX9 graphics is that they do not run well on medium end computers, AND the dx9 shows more fog on the multiplayer maps making it a little harder to see players move around. Because of that, most people i know run the game on DX7 and sacrifice some graphic quality for better competitive gameplay.

The game had a really good marketing plan, but what you see really isn't how the game is in actual gameplay. There is no ragdoll, just bodies falling in weird places like inside walls, ect.

The game was disappointing, but it's salvagable with future patches. Alot of people do not like the support from the developers and have actually staged a first time in history strike against a computer game. yes... a computer game. GOOGLE COD2 STRIKE AND YOU WILL SEE HUNDREDS OF LINKS. About 1/5th of all severs took place because many felt like the developers weren't listening to the gamers and admins.

I would only suggest people to buy this game if they want to be a competitive pro gamer... other than that BF2's FORGOTTEN HOPE modification might just be the best WWII game after it is released.

Have been a die hard COD'er since the original release. COD was the first PC game I played Multiplayer on and was hooked immediately. Have competed in CAL and TWL and used to play daily. IW messed up big time with this one. Single play is way to easy and I completed the game in a few hours. Multiplay maps are graphically much nicer but the new engine seems to have some flaws. Really feels like IW rushed this out with out much market testing. Easy to find glitches and the release of this game WITHOUT A ANTICHEAT are things that any testing would have brought to the forefront immediately. Would figure they would have learned from the first version. Recently there was a worldwide strike against the game due to the lack of response from the gamemakers. Just google search cod2 strike and you will get much of the information. Game is still fun but way to arcady. Unfortunate that such a highly anticipated game with a huge multiplayer base was taken so lightly by the developers.

First to that poor kid who doesnt know what card to use. I would recommend an Ati radeon 9800pro or an nvidia geforce fx 5600. Make sure it has 128 mb of vram so u can pump up most of the graphics

Anyway to the game FUN AS IT CAN GET the AI is fantastic!!! Your guys get shot up the enemy gets shot up its soo fun!!! get it!!!

Good Singleplayer, The rest is dissapointingly trash.

When i first got this game, the first thing i thought about was the Multiplayer, as i have played the first 2 Call of Duty's, i used the multiplayer alot. I highly enjoyed the previous 2 game's multiplayers, but, i was highly dissapointed with Cod 2's. The game lags a bit, and thats even with a nvidia card, which is recommended.

The Weapons are unbalanced, and just arent very good, so you wont be able to compete with others if you have certain guns. There are no Crosshairs, making it impossible to fire, and there is no health bar. You seem to just "regenerate" your health, and you will have no idea how injured you may be. There are also no vehicles. After playing Call of Duty: United Offensive, which added vehicles, i expected a step up to planes, or motorcycles, or anything new. Instead, the vehicles were scrapped. There is also No rank system, which i came to like in the last Call of Duty, and there is no Artillery. There is also no map, showing what the map contains, and it is absolutley horrible for snipers, as there are no good sniping areas, and some of the machine guns are just as accurate, if not more accurate than your weapon.

However, the graphics are absolutley amazing, from the first Call of Duty games. And the Singleplayer is very good, while it lasts. The singleplayer missions are much better made, and work much better with the new combat system used in CoD2 than the Multiplayer. While there is no healthbar, the levels are still very well designed, and it is pretty easy to follow. But, the singleplayer is short. I was able to get through the campaign, in less than 7 Hours, without trying to go quickly in any way.

Another thing that i experienced while playing this is that the game feels alot like an Xbox game. Which can be good or bad, whichever way you view it. But, the way i see it, it feels cheapily and hastily converted into a PC game, and doesnt work very well. The game just feels rushed.

So, if you are looking for a good WW2 multiplayer game, stay away from this game. It will only bring dissapointment. However, if you are looking for just a singleplayer game, you will probably enjoy this game.

Not what i expected but still good game thou. First of all no crosshair once u move which make it almost impossible for a rifleman to shoot a smg gunner at close range, second i though this game will get new muliplayer game mode but it use the same as the first game(at lease add the ones in united offensive too),third maps are small not giving snipers a good spot to snipe, and last almost all the time you won't get hit by gernade because of the indicator. Now the good things alsome graphics, its the only things that impress me, i don't think no fps is using these graphics.

great game! Just got it and I love it. can get a bit laggy in firefights if you dont have a really good pc. overall the visuals are excellant. love the feature in the game where you can climb over walls. the faces of the people look more realistic in this game than any other I have ever seen.

Great original storyline, very realistic, and great graphics. The graphics on high are the same as the graphics on Xbox 360. You will not have good graphics without good stuff. I run 1gig of Ram, 2.8ghz CPU P4, and an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128, and I keep the quality on Medium to avoid lagging. It runs great, single and multiplayer games are fun and doesn't get boring! Well worth any amount!
