This is a blast to play! It's a game you can always come back to and if you're with other people, just sit and talk while playing. It's fast paced, simple, and there's enough variation in characters to really make things interesting. The graphics are not high in polygon count, but they are very bright and crisp, and the replays display some awesome lighting effects. The camera motion is also real really well done, so that the screen doesn't seem fixed in one spot. When you're on the far side of the coart, it doesn't seem as aquard as you might first think, and it switches during the game. It's simply awesome. Don't listen to anything negative about this game, it's simply not true :-) (By the way, it's NOT made by Mayamoto, it's Camalot.)

Mario Tennis Is A Must Have

I picked up this game, and within a few hours, I won my first 3 tournaments! This game is THAT EASY to pick up on. Heck, even my dad can play this! Basic controls allow you to discover what works best so ANYONE can be good at this game. All the Mario characters are here, some better than others (steer clear of Waluigi and Peach :P) 2, 3, and 4 player games are also tons of fun; Nintendo contests are fun to compete in too. Rings, Pirahna plant stage, Bowser stage, and plain ol' tennis matches make this a perfect tennis game for the whole family (even teenagers).

Like a cartoon Wimbledon!

This is, simply put, the best tennis video game I've ever played. I told all my friends that it's better than Virtua Tennis, and nobody believed me... until they played it themselves! Now they're all hooked, too.

For the record, I'm thirty years old and I love playing regular tennis as well as watching professional matches. This game comes closer to the experience of real live tennis than anything else I've played.

Kids will definitely love playing with familiar Nintendo characters like Mario and Yoshi, but don't mistake this game for child's play. The character control, variety of shots and overall game play are superb. Plus, the variety of alternate modes keep the game fun long after you've mastered the skills. If you're looking for a tennis game, however old or young you are, this is the one to buy!

Some people don't like this game. That worries me.

Good points: constant action, easy controls, gameplay variety Bad points: Huh? What bad points? This is what Nintendo had in mind when it thought "multiplayer". There are 12 characters you can choose from, from Mario to Yoshi to even Birdo and DK Jr., and adding Waluigi. The controls are simple, and there's always action. This is the complete oppisite of Mario Golf,which I hated, and I deeply recommend it.

Alright, can we just set aside the fact right now that Mario Tennis is an awesome game with great graphics and easy to learn controls and that you should buy it right now? Because I want to tell you something funny that happened with this game.

There are 2 human females in this game: Princess Peach and Daisy. In our family, my step-dad pretends that princess peach is soooo beautiful just to make us all laugh. So we were playing mario tennis doubles one day, I was Peach (just so I could talk in an annoying high-piched voice) and my sister was Daisy. In the middle of the game, we pretended Peach was jealous of Daisy because her boyfriend was Luigi, and we made them both come to the net and start fighting! It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

In short, this game is not only good for gaming, it's good for fun creative entertainment. You have got to try it, your family will LOVE IT!

Mario has stayed with us from the beginning, the regular nintendo. Since n64 came out he has been in 50 other different games. Mario golf, super mario, mario tennis, mario smash brothers, paper mario, on and on. All of these games are fun and I couldn't stop playing them.

Tennis for Mario was something new, but he soon got the hang of it. The graphics are good, and each player has a different quality. Mario is fast and accurate, and Donkey Kong hits the ball hard, and if you can master him, you can ace it every time on the serve. The doubles play is also very fun, espacially when you play with your friends. Single player is also fun, and you gain new characters the better you get, much like other mario games. It takes a little time to get used to it (10 minutes) but after that it gets pretty easy. That would be my only complaint with the game, after you play for a day it gets easy. When it gets too easy just try the rings, those will frustrate you for a while, until you get it.

This is an all around fun game for the whole family 5 and up. Rock on Mario.

When Nintendo stopped making games for their Nintendo 64, many people seemed to balme it on the Playstation 2. Ironically there are many video games that were still worth the price. For the good games, like Mario Tennis, it does suit that field just fine. The game features 14 different characters to serve up your life, including Mario and his brother Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser and Peach, Princess Toadstool for those die hard Mario Brothers fans. The game also features amazing details of games including skilled ring games, and tournaments and hidden courses with zany Mario themes.

Although many people still don't give sanction to cartridge games anymore, unless they are on Game Boy Advance, Mario Tennis is dull for a one-player game, but a smash for four.

Although this game may look kinda goofy it is a fun way to learn

the game and most important, it's fun! There are many

characters available and different kinds of courts such as:

hard,grass,clay. It is a easy to setup and is also simple to

play, so make sure you buy it! There will be no regrets!

This game is the best game ever. It is easy to know how to use all the controls. This game is for family. I highly recommend you buying it if you are a Smash Brothers, 1080, Mario party, Tennis fan. The graphics are so good. The replay is better than playstation2 pics. The truth is if you are only one person playing in your family don't buy it. I beat the game in 3 days. But my family plays with me so I like it. The music sounds very good. The only bad thing about this game is the voices of the players, like when they serve they make sound like Manaca Selles. Nasty noises made by every character. It's a family game, and a tennis fan game. Buy it.

I just got this game a couple day ago and its the best mario game yet! the many people to choose from make it so if your not good with one person there are othere to try. Plus, there are tournaments to play to earn extra courses and people!so if you like tennis you will love this game.
