This game was a disappointment. It seemed like an excuse to use ocarina of time characters, without adding any plot or depth at all. The previous game was all about the story. It actually made my heart skip a beat once in a while and occasinally had me yelling at the screen. This game was too easy (it's hard to die, but you sure have to start over and repeat things a lot) and at the same time it was far more frustrating. The three day repeat wasn't a bad idea, but it doesn't add anything except saving difficulties. Furthermore, there's no story and no interesting characters. They don't even mention Zelda. By switching some faces this game wouldn't have been recognizably from the series. Seems a little like a publicity stunt. Which isn't to say that the old save the princess plot is required, but prevent the giant moon from falling on the fantasy world, and then there was some whole schpiel with the skull kid that went right over my head. But at the end everyone's friends and Link returns to hyrule, where i pray to god he will stay for the next installment.

this game is so awesome! EVERYBODY asks if its better than ocarina of time or not but its the SEQUAL! its part of it ok??? so GET THIS GAME....if you truly love princess zelda, you'll get it ;)

I think this is a good game with very good graphics, and very little corruption (if any). The bosses are amazing, and unique. I also like the storyline and the fact that you can change your identity, and it can make all the difference. I own the old zelda, and i think you should buy that first

This is a really great sequel, actually not really a sequel at all, as it has a brand-new, totally original storyline. Like any game, however, it has it's pros and cons. I'll start with the bad (there's not much). The three day thing is kinda cool, until you forget to go to the bank and you lose your rupees or you have to do tasks over and over again. That's a bit of a bummer. Also, there is not as much freedom to explore, like there was in Ocarina of Time. You have to hurry to complete your tasks so you don't lose all your progress when the three days start over. OK, now for the good. The storyline is execellent. The characters are actually CHARACTERS, that lead lives and say and do different things depending on where and when you talk to them. That's really cool. The graphics are excellent, esp. with the expansion pak. The music is wonderful, just as it was in Ocarina of Time. There are some new tunes now, for our listening pleasure. And, I really like that they put more emphasis on side quests, trading, and mask collecting instead of fighting in dungeons, although I know not everyone feels the same way. The mask concept is really cool, allowing you to gain new powers or actually morph into different creatures. This is a great game, a future classic, and totally worth the money. However, you may want to consider buying a guide to help you find all the masks, you will regret it if you don't have them all at the end.

(It kind of reminds me of Link's Awakening, because it has a totally original storyline that has nothing to do with Zelda.) By the way--all of you who are acting like sequels are no good-keep in mind that Ocarina of Time was essentially a SEQUEL, as it was not the first in the series (NES really was first) just the first Zelda on the N64. So stop telling me that sequels are no good. Thanks!

This game is awsome because of goron link rolling Plus you can esaly get 500 twice in one day and night so for fun grab shadow milk drink up and go roll!and ramp

there are very few games that have as many awesome sequels as Zelda, and Zelda 6:Majora's Mask is no exception. Incredible graphics,sound,control,and incredible storyline make this an incredible game. What are you waiting for>>BUY IT!!!!

Well First of all it was very frustrating but I managed and the boss was exceptionally easy with the fierce deity's mask. It was a great game altogether! and for future gameplayers the blue potion is in the akindo nut in Ikana Canyon!

Majora's Mask is a great game! Yes it is confusing about how to save the game and all because of the whole traveling back and forth through 3 different days, but after a while you get use to it. This game is not easy though some people say it is. Yes, you can beat it with in one week if you have the players guide but if you don't have it you'll be playing for LONG time. This game looks just like Ocarina of Time so if you think your are going to see super great graphics you are wrong. People, you just can't have super cool Playstation like graphics when the game is still made on a cartridge. But for being on a cartridge the graphics look very good. If you think you'll be rushed during the game because of the 3 day limit you are somewhat right. BUT if you play the game for a while you will learn a song on your Ocarina which will slow time down making the game not such a rush. When you go back in time your items will disappear and so will all your money but people before you go back in time make sure you put your money in the bank in Clock Town, that is why its there. Collecting the masks is so much fun espeically when you get the Couples Mask! Collect all 24 masks and then at the end you'll get a super cool one :) Have fun playing this game you'll like it. If your a person who likes everything PERFECT you'll probably not like this game and then you'll complain about it. So if you are a perfect person don't get it. Thank you because i just can't stand the complaining. GO BUY MAJORA'S MASK!
