The Sims 2 Seasons is a brilliantly multi-faceted addition to the Sims 2 franchise, seamlessly merging with the previous expansions and improving them as well; The universities can provide a boost for the new careers and are affected by seasons as well, the seasons can influence skills and relationships and interests, fishing and gardening add new talent badges, and pets, though not effected by the temperature changes, so make tracks and can ruin your gardens.
It's good to see such depth in a modern game.

This game has so many fun new and exciting things to do. You can be a farmer, or just grow a few crops in the backyard for fun. Plus the seasons change...which is amazing!

It's awesome when it starts snowing and raining. I love the sound effects, etc. Having a tough time getting my trees to harvest and my plants to produce anything, but there are lot of things I haven't done yet on the game. EA Games keeps coming out with expansions so quickly, and I have to fight everybody for the computer. Seasons loads more slowly, but that is the only downside unless you count the two things that I think would make the game perfect...just two more things: A counter that tells you how long you've played a certain family and a spiral staircase! That's it, and I would have given the game overall a 5 instead of a 4.

This has to be in the top 2 of my favorite Sims2 EPs. The first time my Sim looked out the window at a rain storm and shivered, I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. This was the same Sim I killed a little later when she froze to death playing in the snow.

I love this expansion pack probably more than the others because it comes with so much more. Growing crops is great but mine always get sick. The juicer takes the crops and turns them into different juices which themselves can give your sims rewards. The fishing is very fun because you get more meals to make from the fish you catch. The new career paths are great. Its just fun to ice skate, build snowmen, make snowangels, and have a snowball fight in the winter, fish, swim, and bbq in the summer, grow fruits and veggies and fall in love in the spring, rake leaves and have lightning/ hail storms in the fall/ spring. I would definitely recommend this one if you can only have just one.

If you love Sims .. You'll love this expansion pack .. its just amazing how it is very detailed.. Seasons change accordingly and it gives affects on everything around it from plants to people .. some Sims freeze out there when its snowy.. so you have to watch out for that .. a new neighborhood is also a new option .. and new outfits as well .. some new items .. I believe that Seasons Expansion Pack is a must have for every Sims 2 owner!
I love Sims ever since it was created. I have experienced The Sims (and all its expansion packs), Sim City 2000, and Sims 2. This Expansion is just a blast. They just surprise me each and every time with their creations. Very detailed. Very life-like. It snows. It rains. Thunderstorms light fires on trees. Gets really hot and lovely springs. You can actually change the weather and decide if you want your year to be snowy fully. or just enjoy a whole year of summer with no other season. Not much new furniture though, just the amazing features.
I would recommend thing to Sims fans (8 out of 10). Happy Playing.

I love this expansion pack. The weather effects are just great especially the thunder storm. This is the best expansion pack by far with great new interactions to build up relationships.

I am glad I decided to purchase this game, the kids enjoy it so much, that it's hard to get them out of the house. Playing outside is now a thing of the past.

over all of the sims Expansion packs I like this 1 the best it makes the game seam more real over all the game I give it an 5 stars rating and the ppl i bought it frome it came on time new like it said so i am happy and good price too I got it for.

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE EXPANSION PACKS BESIDES SIMS 2 UNIVERSITY. IT HAS A LOT OF NEW THINGS TO DO, GROW FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES IN YOUR OWN BACK YARD WITH THE GREENHOUSE. I ALSO LOVE THE WINTER SCENES AND NOW SIMS CAN PURCHASE WINTER OUTERWEAR. IT'S A GREAT GAME I LOVE IT.
