I'm an avid Sims 2 player and the one thing I missed from The Sims was gardening. Now I can do that and so much more. No longer are the ponds around your house just pretty landscaping. Now you can actually fish in them! In addition, as with all The Sims 2 games, there's lots of new furnishings and careers.

My Bro & I are hooked on this game! It has a new neghiborhood called Riverblossom Hills! Watch Out if you sims plant or spend a lot of time in the garden your sims could turm into Plant Sims! I like buliding a snowman, seeing the peguin, thunderstroms,Snow ball fights & water bloon fights are cool also If your sims are in the hot tub during a lighting storms they will get shoocked and turn all black to get rid of the lightning dust place your sim in a bathtub or shower. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ALL SIMS 2 LOVERS!!!!!!!!

Ok so I seriously never give anything a "perfect" score but this game is much fun. I enjoy the fishing (which I do MUCH better on the game than IRL)and the gardening during the warmer seasons.
It is well worth the money spent if you are a SIMS fan!

Cool, fun & worth the money I paid for it.
Love this game. Now I can garden, have plant sims Plant kids are soo easy to raise) & play out side in the weather.

I love this new expansion pack to the sims 2 series. I love see the rainfall on my sims and the snow and new things. I have all 5 of he expansion packs plus the base sims 2 starter plus all 4 of the fun stuff packs. I cant wait until "Bon Voyage" comes out in september!!

The main thing this expansion pack adds is weather. Your neighborhood by default will come with the four seasons, which come with heat, cold, snow, rain, thunder/lightning, and hail. But you can change your neighborhood to have four summers or two springs and two falls or whatever. The seasons also gradually change, so it's not a sudden change from winter to spring, for instance, and some winters are mild while others are severe.
Sims also have weather-related wants and fears. In spring they want romance, and in winter they want snowball fights, for instance. The knowledge sims want to be struck by lightning (which can be deadly), but the rest fear it.
You can also do gardening and fishing with this EP. You can earn talent badges for these two. All you need for fishing is a pond. Fish meals are very filling, and the Sims eat them fast. Gardening lets you eat your fruits and also join a garden club to show off your fine produce.
Some of the gardening elements seem to slow my game down just a little. Overall it's an enjoyable expansion.

THIS IS A FUN EXPANSION PACK. YOUR SIMS CAN NOW PLANT A GARDEN AND WATCH IT GROW. THEY CAN PLAY IN THE SNOW, BUILD A SNOWMAN, MAKE A SNOW ANGEL, AND ICE SKATE AT THE SKATING RINK! THEY CAN PLAY IN THE LEAVES IN THE FALL AND THEY CAN ALSO RAKE THE LEAVES. THEY CAN'T STAY OUT IN THE COLD TOO LONG OR THEY WILL GET SICK. ALSO YOUR SIMS CAN GET RAINED ON! JUST LIKE WE DO! I TELL YOU, THESE SIMS ARE GETTING MORE AND MORE LIKE REAL PEOPLE EVERY DAY! IT IS JUST AMAZING STUFF!

This game comes with a whole new country theme. It comes with country kitchen, and bedroom items. Plus, it has a few tiki and racing items. And you can pick the seasons too! You don't have to do summer, fall, winter and spring in the same order. For instance, you could make it summer all the time! Or you could do summer, fall, winter, summer. If you don't want it to be spring. I highly recommend this game for Sims 2 lovers!!

The best Expansion Pack yet! I own and enjoy all of the Sims 2 Expansion Pack and Stuff Packs. This one was by far worth the wait and the money!

The Sims 2 Seasons is one of the best of the five, in my opinion (I have them all). There are new careers, new items, new surprises and new things to do (such as gardening). The weather effects are pretty neat. I would definitely recommend this game. Note: it requires the "The Sims 2" to be able to play this (or any) expansion.
