I've been playing the Sims for about 5 years now. I don't have all of the expansion packs, just the ones that interest me. After upgrading to the Sims 2, I tried 'Seasons.' It's just like 'nightlife' only now there is weather, and it seems more realistic.
It's great how the creator's are constantly coming up with expansion packs that make the sims more human.
Great game, keep em coming!

This version is even better than Sims 2 Pets!
I want them to make a Sims 2 Vacations... maybe cancun, paris, london... andyone with me on this?!

EA games/Maxis made a quick buck on this expansion pack. Theres not a lot there. Yes you get weather but its not that big of a deal it doesnt affect game play hardly at all its more just visual than anything else. Theres not a lot of new things in this pack either like previous ones. Id save my money and by bon voyage instead. If EA games/Maxis lowered the price by 10.00 it would be O.K. but at this price its just not worth it.

Seasons now allows neighborhoods to experience 4 different seasons. It also has an added gardening feature. Makes the Sims games more like real life.

Each time my daughter tried to install a Sims 2 expansion pack it consumed hours of my time... Sims 2 Seasons is no exception! After 3 install attempts which hung on the second CD, I thought I'd try to disable my anti-virus software (OneCare). Low and behold OneCare would not run! AGHHHHH!
I ripped out the Sims 2 Seasons program files (the uninstaller didn't work, of course) and reinstalled OneCare. What a POS!

The Sims 2 seasons is the best expansion pack because it bring such new-never-before-seen-dimensions to the game play. It makes the sims even more realistc. Its the bomb! Get It!

it adds a lot to the enviornment of the game, though not really to the actual game play like the university expansion or something like that. i like the new objects and occupations it comes with.

I'm an avid Sims 2 player and the one thing I missed from The Sims was gardening. Now I can do that and so much more. No longer are the ponds around your house just pretty landscaping. Now you can actually fish in them! In addition, as with all The Sims 2 games, there's lots of new furnishings and careers.
