You absolutely have to play this game, it's the best Star Fox you can play on your TV. Score: 5 of 5 Stars, and I'm pretty sure this rocks ass.

Fox is back, and this time, he's outta the cockpit. Yes, this is Fox's first and likely only adventure game, and it's rounded out as one of the strongest Gamecube games yet. Unlike many games, I had something to strive for, as the ultimate goal of the game (rescue Krystal, defeat the tyranous bad guy, and save the world...oh, and getting paid, therefore getting the Starfox team back on it's feet).

I'll break down the game's overall scores:

Graphics: Clearly one of the best looking games out there, alongside Resident Evil, and Rogue Leader. From every detail of Fox's fur, straight to the utterly amazing bosses, the graphics continued to stun and amaze me.
10/10

Sound: An EXCELLENT soundtrack, filled with great new songs, and twists on some classic Starfox themes. Voice acting, for the most part, is great, especially with Fox, Krystal, and many of the dinosaurs. Unfortunatly, such characters as Tricky and Slippy continually get on your nerves. Some enemies (those flying creatures) can also become aggrivating. Everything else is top-notch.
9/10

Gameplay:
A VERY fun game, with nearly flawless controls and ultimately great scenarios, levels and enemies. Some issues with the C-Stick item menu just can't be overlooked though, as well as some shaky aiming while using some attacks. Overall, absolutely fantastic.
9.5/10

Lasting Appeal:
The game's one bad point: it's too easy, and too short. The game could have included such things as a boss for the Cloudrunner fortress, minibosses, more sidequests and things to buy. This would raise the score, but for now, you may want to play the game over another time, perhaps again some time from now. I plan on keeping this game, and playing it again in the future.
4/10

As you can see, this is a game to get, as long as you don't mind playing it 2 or 3 times. I highly recommend this game mostly as a buy, but at least as a rent.

I had a blast

Playing as Krystal and Fox were some of the best memories Ill have as a gamer. You start off on a trydactyl to fight. Then you discover secrets and talk to dinosaurs. The effects are amazing.
I think they should also make some more games like the past 2 Star Fox's it could be Star Fox prequels and have all the flying aspects and chats with Falco.Either that or rerelease Star Fox 64 as a 128 bit game with a save and continue option cause with. the 64 bit one you could not save.Shoot em ups are fun but I would also like to see a Star Fox Adventures 2.

A Wonderful Game

Star Fox Adventures is a wonderful game. With mesmerising graphics and an absorbing plot, the game sucks you right in. The gameplay is very much like Zelda, except the hand-to-hand combat is a little bit lacking, but it's not close enough to stir anything but fond memories. Fox keeps a funny and scarcastic commentary throughout the entire game that gives it a touch of comedy, and all of the characters display quite a bit of personality. The fact that most of the characters are either animals or dinosaurs may throw some older players off, but this is not a child's game; it has some serious gameplay and is a lot of fun. If you liked the Legend of Zelda games, I think you'll love this.

Best game ever

A Gamecube Must Own

One of the few must own titles for the Gamecube. The graphics are awesome, the game is challenging and fun. Keep in mind this isn't like the Starfox of old, always flying around in a weird polygonal space ship. This is along the lines of Zelda. The flying is kept to a minimum. I would say this is my favorite cube game beating even Mario Sunshine out (which i gave 4 stars.)

Great from the begining!

I am not a big star fox fan, but I immediatly fell in love with this game. The staff (weapon, not the makers of the game) is a great change from the blaster, and it serves more use. For example, not only is it a weapon and shield, it can activate switches and even shoot ice! Your task is this: you must retrieve four spellstones because Dinosaur Planet is falling apart. Also, you must collect six Krazoa spirits to free Krystal, who has been imprisoned in, you guessed it, a crystal. You will love this game, it is definatly worth fifty bucks!

Zelda fans must buy

One of the greatest games ever-made if your a zelda fan. It's a lot like the N64 zelda games. The only reason it's rated teen is because fox hits people with a stick and incinerates enemies with the fire blast. but over all it's not that violent. With a suprise character at the end and a great story line. This is one of the gamecubes best games.

Super keen!!!!

Well lets see, people are not very smart when they say this is a bad game. True, it is lacking in battles, but thats just because they are easy. So, anyhoo, not enough boss fights, and the ending [was not good], and all the "side quests" are really part of the game. But it's fun, and I'm sad to say that I really thought this was better than Wind Waker, and the pains me cuz I'm a die hard zelda fan. The graphics are amazing, but the dialouge from the natives is really annoying. But yeah, it took me 13 hours to beat this game, and 5 to beat wind waker.
