I was so joyfully surprised by star Fox, the game. It's cute, fun, challenging and colorful. It brings out the kid in you when you share with these adorable, fantasy, cartoon characters doing their good stuff.

This is a wonderful game for anyone who likes imaginative worlds. This game has everything a gamer could want. The graphics are near perfect. The sound effects are superb, and the musical score is just under The Ocarina of Time's. The only complaints that I boast are the facts that it is Waaaaaay to easy, and it is totally biting Zelda's gameplay. You cant make fun of Zelda. It's just not right. Oh yah, and for all you gamers who buy this game in the future, heed my warning, or forever hold your broken Gamecube controller. DO NOT BY TRICKY'S BALL FROM THE STORE IN THORNTAIL HOLLOW. [] SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. []Randy

good for the young ones, boring for me

first, where were the arwings? second, why make up a language so you have to read subtitles when the gamecube can achieve lifelike spoken words? in short, the game was fun for all of 30 minutes. the makers of this game obviously had children in mind when they produced this title. as for me, give me metroid or give me death.

If you like adventure and action this the game for you. I rented it and I got hooked I beat 35% of the game in five days. I have it know but that doesnt matter. This game also has the best graphics and scenierios. The sound effects and music are awesome too. If you like zelda and the old star fox you will love this game. This game also puzzles you have to solve they're hard but fun. So if you like action and like adventure this is the game for you.

A Different Kind Of Fox

It always becomes as a surprise about just how much Nintendo puts out there for so many of their delightful video games. Yet, with all of those characters to choose from, some of those remain as cult classics. In 1997, Nintendo hit the nail on the head with the revolutionary Star Fox 64. The game was not just groundbreaking in the game, but also for the player it was groundbreaking because you could feel what the game is like. Nintendo has tried it again with a different kind of Star Fox. This one seems more as if Fox has joined the cast of The Legend Of Zelda, rather than made it as a game of his own. No matter for Fox and Company, because they still have made it a great game to undergo.

Star Fox Adventures for the Nintendo Gamecube, is a different kind of Star Fox game. The idea of the game is to restore the Dinosaur Planet, Sauria from fatal destruction from the villainous General Scales, and the even more foolish, Andross. The game places Fox, trying to do whatever it takes to save Krystal, a young war fighter from General Scales, with the help of Tricky, and a mighty staff that can do just about anything. The graphics and the sound on the gameplay are just amazing, and gorgeous with every beautiful detail. The storyline also hits a home run as well, with each nook and cranny told beautifully. The control does function quite well as well. It is very simple to operate, and the gameplay is very well put in itself.

While some may feel that Star Fox Adventures isn't worth the challenge as it is with Star Fox 64, or the recently released Star Fox Assault for the Nintendo Gamecube, the game is really a well worth one for anybody who wants a challenge for the Gamecube. I suggest this as a add-on for anybody who is into the feel of Fox McCloud.

This is an awesome game, hands down. You get to roll out your fantasies as being fox mc cloud runninng around on a planet and beating the tar out of people (Well, dinosaurs in this case). Right when you boot up the game you wind up playing as some female fox. Right when I saw this I was confused... "Where is fox?" "Who is this chick?", and the more common,"Eh? Where's my arwing" are just some of the many questions that popped into my head. Fortunately after about a good three mins of gameplay you forfeit control of this completely random and DEFENSELESS girl to play as the legendary *echo*FOX MC CLOUD*echo*. After a few mindless cutscenes in which general pepper explains why you have to go all the way to the edge of the known galaxy, to save some planet that noone knows about except the people on it (Seem to be running out of work)and an exciting romp through space in your arwing, you come to the planet to find that this is not a space shooter, it is a third person hack & slash with a lot of dinosaurs. Soon after landing you get a staff, just a staff. Oh but what's this, blue chick's head pops out of one end and starts speaking some random language that the programmers came up with using a russian enigma. Basically, what I am trying to say is that the story throws you in circles (half the time you are just following the icons on your map having NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON), the graphics are lame for this gaming age, and, although fun at first, the combat gets INCREDIBLY tedious. I give them a 5 for effort, but this just can't fend for itself. This deserves a three out of five.

The dinosaurs need to mean and not TALK like retards!!!

The gameplay for this game is pretty fun. I was a little disappointed with the dinosaur charaters. They talked and most of them were nice. Dinoasurs are things that eat you and rip your limbs off. Those things from the Jurassic Park movies weren't nice. They wouldn't pick up a conversation with you. Anyway, the game would have been a lot better if there was more blood. The game is already rated teen, why not add a little more blood. But, gamecube is known to make their games for children. They need to focus more on the teenagers and up. Guess I should get an Xbox. I have no clue why this game didn't get an E rating. Over all the story needed help, but the gameplay and graphics are great. The krazoa palace kind of reminded me of stargate SG-1 with the rings with the shimmering water. Anyway, the game is worth your money at discount price, or just rent it. It's up to you. Hope this was helpful.
