Take on the role of Fox McCloud in the battle to save Dinosaur Planet, a prehistoric paradise plunged into chaos by the savage General Scales. Lose yourself in an epic adventure spanning the length and breadth of an ancient world populated by incredibly detailed dinosaurs and massive bosses. Meet the established Star Fox team members in their new roles, and rescue brand new character Krystal from the clutches of the mysterious Krazoa. Fend off the enemy with both weapons and magic, fly Arwing missions, saddle up the occasional big lizard and get to know your smart-mouthed sidekick, Prince Tricky. By fully utilizing the new NINTENDO GAMECUBE controller, Fox McCloud's magical staff, with its many combat moves and transformations, becomes the ultimate weapon. A joint development for NINTENDO GAMECUBE by Rare and Nintendo.

If your looking for an adventure game this is the one you have to buy, you explore a number of levels and doing multiple tasks at each one. You explore different parts of Dinosour Planet, play betting games inside a store with a store keeper and much more! BUY IT, IT'S WORTH IT!
Disappointed

When I heard about Star Fox Adventures coming out for the Gamecube, my first thoughts were "cool a fighter game for the GBC." Then Rare instead made it RPG-style, and my hopes fell. As I played the game my hopes fell even more. To put it plain and simple Star Fox Adventures is sometimes BORING and Nauseating. Tpuzzles in the game doesn't require a lot of thinking and after beating the game you'll find it has no real replay value. However the game did have very vivid graphics and sound qualities. The bosses looked cool and SFA did have some fighter piloting. Still the game isn't worth the price tag. I recommend renting it or borrowing it from a friend like i did.
Good not Great

I bought this game a few days ago. It had a somewhat interesting story. Fox and his crew are nearing the edges of the Lylat System when they receive a message from General Pepper...He tells the crew that they are nearing a planet in crisis and are assigned to go Dinosaur Planet (I know the name's really corny), Fox doesn't seem very interested until General Pepper mentions money. That's when the greedy fox becomes very excited and directs the course to Dinosaur Planet. Throughout the game Fox's attitude makes you want to shoot the damn screen, he would sell the planet for the right amount of cash.
The game play is Zelda like, you jump automatically...things like that...but its just not as fun and the story not as good...I understand how a twelve year old might find this very challenging and exciting, but those slightly older would see what I mean.
"Atleast you fly." you say...short stages that take you from point A to point B, the old soundtrack in these stages reminds you of a game long past and a game that could have been.
Overall the game is pretty fun...worth the price. Though the game is no classic its still something worth buying, the graphics very good but not the best. After beating the game you finally learn why Nintendo sold Rare after they made this game...

Star fox is one of my favorite games because when I play it and beat a level it is fun to try the next level. My favorite level was when I beat Galdon. Thats why I like this game.

I just got this game 2 days ago for Christmas, and I have been playing this game ever since(except when I had to go to the bathroom)! At the beginning, you are Krystal,a fox from Cerinia looking for the answers of her family's death. She is looking for the distress call at Krazoa Palace, where you meet General Scales, the SharpClaw behind all of the mayhem. She must go through Krazoa palace to find a Krazoa Spirit that she must capture in her own body(like in digimon!).After you find it,Krystal gets gulfed by a light a gets caught inside a crystal itself after reaching the Krazoa Spirit. Then, you become Fox,looking for the rest of hte Krazoa Spirits and Spellstones. He finds Krystal's staff and uses it to cause things like earthquakes, ice, fire, transformation, flying, and opening secret portals. He meets Prince Tricky,a triceratops with abilities such as fire, digging, playing, eating, and obeying Fox's every command. When you get your first spirit with Fox,then he notices Krystal in the frozen rhombus. He releases the Spirit in a Krazoa head next to Krystal's area and then leaves. After getting all of the Spellstones and the Krazoa Spirits, then you must go see Krystal to set her free. She will thank Fox for saving her before she died and then you must go onto the boss.Guess who the boss is!The boss is the creature who killed Fox's father...Andross!I didn't beat the game, but my dad also got me the strategy guide for Christmas and it said it at the back!Believe it or not,I'm a girl who plays videogames!I have all the systems from when Nintendo was created. This is my first Star Fox game, and Star Fox is really fun!...

This game is excellent, but it is lacking in the lastiblity department. The game should only take you two days to finish,(if you know what you are doing) and even sooner after your first play. After that, there is really no point in doing it thrice. The gameplay is great, except the game seems to linear, and you cannot explore as much as you could in Super Mario Sunshine, or Super Mario 64. That really hinders the gameplay for me. The game truely lacks in bosses, one of the many things Zelda flourishes in. The graphics are perfect. The Sharpclaw battles are really fun, except Fox needs more combos to attack them with. The soundtrack is realaxing and soft;non irritating tracks. All the dinosuars have British accents, and I find that strange. This game is overall, a good game, and deserves a try, but after once or twice, the game is not worth playing anymore.
Amazing Game

I have had this game forever and I still want to play it every day. The graphics are the best you can actually see the hair move back and forth on Krystal and Starfox on both there arms and legs. The game looks amazing and beautiful all over I can say that for sure. In my opinion better then Zelda but alot of other people say nahh Zeldas better. Now for the controls well lets just say I can control them with just one thun=mb and just hit a to attack, there very easy.Sound is another plus in this game it is dolby surround sound and you can definetly tell. Gameplay is where it lacks but not by far. The game is so long that you won't play it again unless you have alot of time. Mistaken you will play it again but not one after another after another. I reccomend this game because it is another Nintendo AAA+ title.
