This game is the best and I don't give a hoot what anyone says about it. Sure there are things that can be improved in this game (like all games, even Halo could be better, especially Halo 2), but have any of you haters ever stopped to think about what this game brought to the gaming table?! Totally non-linear gameplay with an estimated 4,000 acres of places to roam, no loading screens (except one when you are going ingame, but it only shows up sometimes), full scene antialiasing 4x (Halo 1 and 2 had so much aliasing it was rediculous), polygon counts reaching 300,000 without slowing down, etc. This game deserves more credit than it was given.
I'll give it a good review

I actually am going to give this game a good review. But first I'll agree with the rest of you on what is wrong with it. The graphics aren't great, the enemies are extremely unintelligent, and most of it is pretty unbelieveable (and yes, he's blue.)
The good part? I thought it was really fun. I'll admit that I don't have alot of patience, and in a few places it was pretty rough, but over all I thought it was really fun. Don't expect great graphics or movement, but it has interesting worlds and levels and the premise (which you can find out by reading above) is pretty unique and interesting.
This is a game that takes strategy

This is one of those games that even with cheats it is still challenging. The concept of combining elements was cool and different. On this game you have to do a lot of backtracking through the different realms, but that makes it even better.

People who give this game five stars have never played another video game in their lives.

i bought this game thinking it would be something like zelda.HAH! This is like the very basic zelda where you can walk around and use 1 attack. there is no items menu or weapons menu or any menu besides the pause. this game is sooooo repetative nothing different, alllllll the same. HAH and hear this. i went to the store a few weeks after i got azirik at the same store. i bought another game (blinx which i dont highly reccomend either but its not nearly as bad as this one) and when i was buying it the salesman said "and if for any reason you should not like this game...you can take it back within 7 days." and i said "o i wish i knew about that when i bought azurik" and he sais "well, technically we shouldnt have even sold you azurik"!!!!! HAHAHA this game is so bad
Good graphics, but what's the point?

This game has decent graphics but there doesn't seem to be any point. You just run around like a freaked out smurf, slashing things that basically just stand there most of the time. The story line is non-existent and the main character is void of any personality at all. There aren't any mid-level saves and it's easy to fall off of a cliff and have to weave your way through areas you've already explored. Oh, and did I mention that you have to pick up coins as you progress? (GROAN) I mean, haven't we moved past that in the video game world? On a platform as great as XBox, there are far better games out there, rent don't buy.
The Worst Game I've Ever Played!

My cousin and I have been playing this game for a week or so and it is the most frustrating, boring game I've ever bothered playing. If it weren't for my cousin's fortitude this thing would have been in the dumpster a long time ago.
The plot line is typical of a hundred other bad games, and you can't even use the word character to describe the figure you control. Aside from some grunts when fighting, Azurik is completely devoid of any personality. The quests are needlessly long and complicated and end with no pay off except the next pointless quest.
Controls are a complete joke. We've spent countless hours trying to make it through a level only to slip off a platform and have to start the long pointless level all over again. If it weren't for a cheat code we found that allows you to save anywhere in the game even my cousin's stubborn patience would have ran out long ago. The fighting is just one endless stream of button smacking with little payoff. As my cousin notes the fighting just gets in the way of the questing.
I think the five stars some people gave this game is more a statement of the unreliability of these reviews than it is a praise of this game. Azurik is flat out the worst game it has ever been my displeasure to play. I'm just glad my cousin bought it and he's glad he got it used for cheap.

The graphics and sound are amazing, and hours of gameplay will keep your mind and fingers well occupied.
