this game is great! the gameplay is awsome, the loading screens, wait there are no loading screens! the graphics are amazing and the idea of the elemental powers, its just way to good! I advise that you buy it NEW, not used. there might be some defects on the used ones. have fun and GOD SPEED!

This is a wonderful game, which truly makes you think at times to figure out what to do next. If you enjoy an adventure, and one thats not all mindless killing, but represents quests that have to be performed then this game is for you.

The only people I've talked to that didn't love this game, either skipped the intro and didn't understand the storyline, or didn't play the game long enough to get into it.

Great Game

Not racing, not Halo, not NFL football - This is Azurik, for those who want a mentally engaging game full of fantastic color, special effects and so much more!

This is a game that takes strategy

This is one of those games that even with cheats it is still challenging. The concept of combining elements was cool and different. On this game you have to do a lot of backtracking through the different realms, but that makes it even better.

The Worst Game Ever!

I gave this game one star because you can't choose a fraction of a star. This is a horrible game because: 1.The graphics are dull ,jaggedy, and very rushed. 2.The sound is so bad that I had to turn the sound off. When you attack he repeats a annoying, stupid grunt. 3.The storyline (If you can consider it a storyline) seems stupid and incomplete. 4.The fighting is very dull and you can only do two types of attacks (Jab and swoop). Also fighting is pointless since all you get when you kill a monster is a health pack. The bottom line is don't buy this game. If you want a good game buy Halo.

Who ever made this game needs to be beat up with the upmost quickness.

Waste of money, waste of time

This game was entertaining for about 3 hours then it became a frustration. Since you can only save your progress at pre-specified points within the game and the distance between them is so great that if Azurik looses his life (and he will) you then have to start playing again way back where you started.

There might actually be 72 plus hours of game here, but after only 8 hours of playing, which equals 1 hour of actual progress, I'm already so bored with the game I can't stand to look at it.

The graphics are merely okay... and after viewing the same scenes over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over ... well you get the picture.

Interesting story....

Yes the story of this game is somewhat compelling, but I have to agree with most other reviews on the web that this game certainly is lackluster. I was expecting much more surrounding the hype of this game.

The gameplay in this game could have been done much better. You are subject to only a few attack moves, and the elemental powers do little to accentuate this. I must say that the wings you get were a throwback to the old Kid Icarus days though!

A major drawback of this game is that the world of Azurik really isn't all that expansive--as the puzzles in the game aren't very difficult. Also, with all the hype around the game surrounding this "massive" world to explore I found myself wanting more in the free-roaming capabilities and was severely disappointed. Another drawback is the amount of back-tracking that needs to be done throughout the game. A final drawback has is the graphics, had they spent another 3 months polishing them up, some of the areas they attempted to portray could have been gorgeous.

I have to say that after finshing this game, I was quick to trade it in at Funcoland.

Almost but not quite

Azurik starts out being fun but after about ten minutes you will notice the horrible flaws in the game.
1.Fighting enemies is nothing but hitting the attack button quickly.
2.The world the game is set in looks great but on closer inspection seems to be constructed of plastic.
3.Odd universal lighting makes the game less realistic. You and your enemies will appear the same in a pitch black cave as outside.
4.The game is very slow paced with a lot of repetitive traveling. Also, everything is so poorly defined (paths, boundries) it is too easy to get lost.
5.Magic, the cool part of the game, is time consuming to develop and only becomes fun very late in the game.
6.The blue hero guy is poorly put together. He looks like he was stolen from the tv show Reboot. He never uses those stupid goggles on his head and it is never explained why he wanders around without a shirt.

Overall, this game is worth RENTING for few minutes of time before it becomes boring and just for laughs. My friends and I had a lot of fun just making fun of the game.

Before i bought this game, I wasnt sure how good it would be. But let me tell you that this game is frickin awesome. You'll get used to the controls in minutes. The graphics for this game are unbelievable. The gameplay is good. You can explore the entire world once you get the four elements which is not hard to do. And this game is promised to last you for a long time. I've had the game for about three weeks and I'm still in the first portion of the game. And the reason is not that its hard to play, its just fun to explore places and the game is long. If your looking for a game to really get your money worth and play for a long time, buy Azurik.
