The games in the Wii Play are only ok (good enough for $10). I would recommend this package if you plan on buying the Wii Controller.

My sister and I have soo much fun playing Wii Play!! There are all kinds of games like find mii, shooting range, billiards, fishing, and more. there are about 8 different games on it. Once you get Wii play you will have two controllers, and it is sooo much fun with two people. One of my favorite games called shooting range is when different kinds of targets come up like balloons, regular shooting targets, frisbees, UFOs, and cans. Another one of my Favorite games is called find mii. In find mii the game tells you what to find, like the odd mii out, the mii you are using, the sleepyhead, and the 2-3 lookalikes. In all of the games you can get gold, silver, or bronze metals if you do good enough. In Wii Play you will always know waht to do, and you will always have fun!!!!!!

Good games for young kids

My 6 year olds enjoy these games. The five stars are based on that. Probably not as entertaining for adults.

Just OK...

Most of the Wii Play games are just average. Table Tennis (ping pong) is terrible. The Wii Match game is interesting and good for parties. The cow race is the best game followed by tank then fishing.

Great Buy If You Want An Extra Remote

This is a great deal ($50 for a game and a $40 value remote). The game includes many minigames which can be played with 2 players. All of the minigames use your mii(s) that you created, whether it be the character(s) that you control and interact with or other characters in the background. The minigames aren't that complex as WiiSports, and aren't as fun either. This is what you would expect because of the remote included which is worth $40, so the game is like $10.

If you need an extra remote, you should definetly consider purchasing this.

Nintendo wii has such versitility. It can be fun exercise and yet very entertaining at the same time. They could have done a little better on the graphics on a few of the games, but I like the ability to go "2D" with it. Always a new adventure to be had and game prices are more reasonable then with previous Nintento systems.

Disappointing games, worth the price for the Remote

This was my first game buy after the console and expected a similar playing experience as with Wii Sports (the included game when you buy the console). I must say I was very disappointed because:
1. The games are really short (Which doesn't mean some of them aren't fun)
2. Just up to 2 players
3. Skill level required is way below Wii Sports, making games a bit dull.

I would say it's rather a game to show you what the Wii Remote can do (teach possible Remote's movements while playing).

I give an overall 3 stars because of the included controller (worth the money).

Disappointing collection of mini-games with a remote

Of the number of mini-game collections available for the Wii, Wii Play is perhaps the most disappointing. This is because it's from Nintendo, and so far, every first party title from the company on the Wii has ranged from good to spectacular. Wii Play includes a Wii remote, and is only a little more expensive than the remote itself, so think of it as buying a new remote with a bonus disc of games. The games themselves take advantage of your Miis and makes great use of them as well. In that respect alone, Wii Play is worth checking out, but the mini games themselves aren't very fun, and the ones that are (like Shooting Range) don't have much of a lasting appeal. Billiards however is the best of the bunch here, and makes great use of the Wii's abilities. All that being said, Wii Play is worth a look at the least, and is worth picking up if you want another remote and don't mind spending a little extra cash for another disc of mini-games, but don't expect the same kind of lasting appeal or fun that you got with Wii Sports or Wario Ware.

ok game and free remote

The 9 games that come with this package are less than mediocre. They are all very simple games that is good for killing time. It's not a good game for all, but it maybe good for the few who prefers a simple game like tetris and pong.

I gave it 4 stars overall only for the fact that it would cost you $40 to buy a remote. Since the package comes with one, it's really costing you only $10 for 9 games that maybe good entertainment for kids and guests.

Another remote is always good.

Buy the game, get the remote as a bonus! They should have made it the other way around.

The games are just a bit to finicky to be really fun. After clearing them all once, the only ones that are fun enough to go back and play again are Tanks, Cow racing and Billiards.

You have to be so precise in your movements for most of them that unless you have the patience of a saint, you're going to get ticked. If you like the game, you can do it enough to be able to control it pretty well. The problem with that is only 3 or 4 of the games are actually fun enough to warrant playing repeatedly.

So, buy the controller and get a bonus game!
