Even better than Metroid Prime (and that's hard to top) SORRY

You may have already seen my review entitled Even better than Metroid Prime (and that's hard to top!) It turns out that I had a problem with editing and instead of rating the game a 5 star score I accidentaly rated it 3 stars. I am very sorry for the inconvinience for those of you who read my review. The game (as you know) is amazing and obviously deserved the 5 star rating. graphics are good, gameplay is good, overall it's wonderful. Once again sorry for the inconvienience. I hope Amazon will post this review.

I bought Zelda T.P for my 12 year old son & he plays it every chance he gets! The Graphics are not exactly Blu ray but the interactive part is so much fun.My kids received a total of 7 WII games with the WII system for Christmas & this is my oldest favorite by far!

Zelda on the Wii is great!

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is the next game in the popular Legend of Zelda series. It has the common go to temples and release the spirits type of plot, but adds its own twists and turns. Each of the temples has its own element and is fun play through and beat the boss at the end. It gives you a feeling of accomplishment when you get through a boss and beat a level of the game.

Twilight Princess features a bunch of new weapons that can help you solve puzzles. Sometimes there are puzzles you can't solve without a special item. These can be annoying if you try to do them before you have the item. These items include the Gale Boomerang, the Hero's Bow, the Clawshot(hookshot), and some more items. There are many side quests and extra items to get so that the replay value is very high.

The graphics are a little above the Gamecube's best in most places, but in a couple of spots they, although not realistic, are beautiful, full of color and light. There is a section of the game that has gray faded colors to add a dismal desperate look to the world. These places accomplish their purpose well, but aren't as fun to play through.

The Wii controls are a very small part of the game. Fishing is probably the time when you most use the Wii controls, but fishing is not a very big part of the game. During the battles you normally just shake the Wii remote a little to attack, but every once in a while it's fun to stand up and do large sword-like slashes with the Wii remote. Although it doesn't use the Wii remote very often it doesn't really need it to be fun.

Overall this is a must have game for all fans of the series or owners of a Wii or Gamecube.

I bought this game the day I bought the Wii. It took me about 37 hours to complete, excluding the side quests and heart pieces. The graphics aren't great, but It's a port from the Gamecube. The story is definitely the best. Cut scenes are cool and the sound is good. All the bosses are too easy, but all Zeldas are like that. Despite the few drawbacks, this is an awesome game and every Wii owner should buy it!

Amazing

This game will take you in and never let you go. It's a must-have game if you own a Wii or GC. It's quite lengthy so be prepared to spend some time with it. But it's time well spent.

The visuals in this game are very pretty (especially with the component cable). While they are just a fraction of what the PS3 or 360 can do, it's hard not to appreciate the atmosphere when riding your horse through Hyrule Field or running around the sands of Gerudo Desert. Both friends and foes are a treat to look at.

The sound does its part as well with a soundtrack that's memorable and appropriate. Sound effects are accurate and effective coming through the TV and Wiimote. Too bad there's no voice acting. But I guess that would mean having to force Link to talk (which I'm used to him not talking). So I'm not too disappointed with this.

The story is reminiscent of Ocarina of Time with some innovative twists. It's not a Final Fantasy or Metal Gear story by any means. But it's compelling enough for you to find out what will happen next. Although due to the typical Nintendo simplicity, you will already know.

Gameplay is very similar to Ocarina of Time and that's a good thing because Ocarina of Time had great gameplay. I think using the Wiimote as a sword is innovative but nothing groundbreaking. To swing your sword it takes a little jab with the Wiimote. Using the Wiimote can be a chore when it comes to using long-range weapons because there is an occasional delay because you may be prompted to adjust your position so the sensor bar can detect it. Very responsive and easy to use controls make up for that though.

Some of the gadgets you were used to in Ocarina of Time will be present in this game. But you'll come across some new and unusual gadgets you'd never think to find in certain dungeons. You'll have to find out for yourself. But I think you'll be pleasantly suprised.

Combat is considerably easy and boss fights are nothing short of being a pushover once you find out each one's weakness. Fortunately, the fights are very epic and you'll encounter a feeling of pride once that victory music plays. Turn your volume up.

Dungeouns are very well laid out and are challenging at best. In my opinion, the puzzles are not as challenging as Ocarina of Time. But the dungeons are lengthy and will take time to get through.

I recommend this game to any Wii or GC owner to add to their collection whether you're a fan of the series or not.

Very good, but to long!

This game is extremly fun, but I mean, if it takes over 40 hours to beat, thats a little to long. But besides that it's amazing. I didn't like the ending because you will never see Minda again. ( You'll find out in the game.) It's also fun how you can transform into a wolf at anytime.

It`s all in the controls

Even though the graphics like everyone knows can't be compare with PS3 and XBOX360, the human-machine interface makes up for the rest. Now that I have played this game in the WII, I can`t imagine going back to the traditional controls...you get much more involved in the game this way... great game, great platform

great game very addicting

i like the controls and the plot, but i guess it may just be not realistic enough for me. im a huge fan of resident evil 4 and other shooting games.. i also think the 'text' when people are talking is a little lame, i would have thought a next-gen game that was as important as zelda would have real voices at this point.. but overall a very entertaining game and definitely worth the 50 hours it takes to beat
