In one word.........AWESOME

This has got to be the greatest fighting game to hit home gaming systems. The graphics are beautiful and so are the scantily clad women. Large selection of moves and great backgrounds. My only grief is the small selection of characters to choose from. A must have for any game fan.

Ridiulously good graphics above average gameplay

The graphics in this game are unbelievable. Fluid movements, ultra detailed backgrounds, neat characters. Sooo much above and beyond Tekken Tag. Tekken is nifty if you are a die hard fan of the series, but what DOA2 lacks in amount of characters and tradition, this game blows it away with speed and replayability. Fighting against your friends is what this game is for, and though a lot of the game depends on countering, which can be a little redundant after a while, Tekken looks and feels like mortal kombat compared to this. In DOA2 you can actually walk around the ring. enuff said

A definite must have

First of all the graphics are simply superb, the control is tight, my only slight complaint is that there does not seem to be many characters to choose from or to unlock for that matter. Despite that minor problem, this game will provide hours of enjoyment. Overall the best fighter game for the PS2

The Best Fighting Game I've Ever Played

I never thought that I would play a game as realistic as this, the counters are crazy, witch brings out the realistic side to it, and the styles are tight. Tag Team action and combos are awesome, tons of combos with throwing your opponent, 2 on 2 tag team action is great,if your thinking of gettin TTT DONT, You will like D0A2 MUCH better, the ONLY thing I like about TTT is there are lots of characters. If you could play in tag team mode like you do in D0A2 and still be able to fight with your other guy when you die( if you die so does your partner)then i would have gotten it.

Eat your heart out TTT

I've always been the ideal Tekken fan. Tekken 2 was my first, then Tekken 3. I loved that game so much that I bought the guide with all the moves and combos and I have a poster of Yoshimitsu in my room. But Tekken Tag was a disappointment. The play is slow and whoppee more characters. I played one round of DOA:2 at a friends house and it stole me away from Tekken. The play is fast and the ability to counter nearly every move is great. (Note: I hate players who overuse the ability. It ruins the fun) There are so many moves to learn and combine to make killer combos, learning them is half the fun. HAHA! This will link into this resulting in a 9-hit combo! The game also has multi-throws just like Tekken. The story and voices could've used some touch up. I always played with the Japenese voices. The English is horrid really. The chicks sound far more sexy with a Japenese voice behind them. The tag-mode makes TTT look like .... The double team tags look better and are easier to pull off, and if you use characters that are linked in the story, they have a unique tag also just like TTT. For instance, if Jahn-Lee and Lei-Fang do their power tag when Lei-Fang is close to a wall, she'll end up doing an extra move slamming her body into the guy she threw making him smack into the wall causing extra damage. This isn't a clone of TTT, mark my words. It's FAR better. The match can last longer than just 2 rounds because of the two on one combat. I've had fights where my friend get knocked out and I end up beating both of the other fighters. Additionally, finally a fighting game with some barriers, not an infinite playing field like TTT. The multilevel fighting arenas add to the fun. Graphics are self-explanatory, amazing, and I mean AMAZING. Trust me, this game is a must buy for any fighter game enthusiast. And with an 8.9/10 rating from GameSpot, what more could you ask for?? This is the fighting game of choice for any PS2 owner. (Why do you think it's so hard to get the game from Amazon.com?)

I don't know about anyone else but I think that this is the best fighting game ever made. The only thing that I can complain about is that there is no create-a-fighter mode and that story mode is a bit too short. Other than that this game has everything that I could want in a fighting game. If you have never played it before find someone who has it and play it for it a bit, you will love it. I have a question about it though: how do you get to fight as Bayman and Tengu?!

Not bad at all

This is a really good fighting game. The load time is second to none. You can select random characters and random locations and the load time is really under 5 seconds. Impressive graphics and fast paced game play make this game great. Lot's of replay value and 10 different modes make this a great game. The only bad point is the story mode - very short and where's the story?

this is the BOMB

In my mind the best console fighting game to date! A great selection of characters all amazingly detaild and highlighted with their own signature style. The story mode is also fun and addictive along with the team and plain ol exhibition mode aswell. The smooth flow of every move along with the most amazing backgrounds make this the best fighting game out there. A must have by any gaming fan

This is one of the best fighting games for Playstation 2 out so far. This is well worth it. They graphics are amazing. The combos are out of this world. This is such a great game and such a great story. Better grpahics than that "Tekken Tag Team" game. This game is totaly worth the money.
