I really liked this game,but there was a glitch somewhere in the c.d. The sound of some of the cars was not very consistent {FORD G T 40 SOUNDED CRUMMY} & the record times [upper right-hand corner of screen] do not display,or save no matter what I do. I've had this game since X-Mas [ my son bought it for me] & have completed 98.28%of it. If not for the aforementioned problems,I would rate this game a 5 on a scale of 5. P.S. I'm over 40,whoever said this game is for 5 to 20 yr. olds must be at least 400!

GT2 is the best game i have ever played for playstation. if you want a game that will make your lazy butt get off the couch to do more than just get some thing to eat than get GT2

I thought that the new Gran Turismo game would keep me busy for months, at least want to, but it didn't. I have to admit that i am not a very big racing fan, but i like them. I love this one. It is great. Upgrading the cars is a blast. This is one of those games, that at a party, it is the only game that you will play, all night long!

Hey, you like simulation racing, what about arcade racing, if you said yes to either question then begin the ordering process. This game is great, great grpahics, sound and gameplay. The controls are very well thought out and many winning qualities were held over from the original game. Also, the 550+ fully licensed cars and long list of companies backing this game will add some color to the race track. This is a must buy for anyone who owns a playstation.

Don't listen to the troublemakers who say this is bad. They propably work for the dudes who make Need for Speed. And I dont work for whoever makes GT2. Best game ever period. Almost 600 cars, lots of tracks, realistic tracks and cars, Awesome gameplay. A must Buy for anyone!

Gran Turismo, the most realistic driving game yet. Gran Turismo 2 handles like a dream, has effective graphics and is just an absolutely sorted racing game. The huge amount of cars added gives even the most uninterested a chance to marvel in the sheer depth in the game. The way that the game is better than the original is clear (is this possible?) and it is a sheer delight to play.

i am SLIGHTLYdisappointed because I won a drag racing car and there are no dragraces in the game. The only way you can finish 100% of the game is if you buy every single car and race it in the special events cup when you are going to get tune ups for your car. for example if i got a toyota celica, there are 2 extra races that i can only race in a celica in the toyota place. the first one you can race with the car as you bought it, but the 2nd race has to be with racing modifications on the car. then you have to do the races again with a supra, altezza, corolla,etc... its like that for most of the car places. you have to own every car and learn how to race them all because they all handle differently. i am still very satisfied with the game, but if anyone can find where the drag races are, write a review and tell me how to get there! END

Ever wondered what it would be like to drive a 400+HP Honda Civic? Well,with GT2 you can find out for yourself. This game offers well over 100 different car models, all of which can be modified as much or as little as you like. You can modify almost every aspect of the cars. Different color paint, engine upgrades, turbos, racing transmissions, there all here.

I only wish that someone would come out with a racing game this good for the PC.

Look I may just be a kid but I play alot of video games and of all of them this is my favourite!!! you control every little detail you can think of!!! enough said just go out and but already okay?

When the first Gran Turismo came out I loved, it was the only game I played. However, the tuning of the cars left something to be desired; it wasn't very realistic. When the GT2 came out it took care of this problem as well as giving you a miriad of vehicles to choose from.
