One of the Greatest RPG's Ever

I have played FFVI on Super NES when it was FF3 in America. I spent a lot of time watching my cousin play. After learning how to play, I became addicted. The story is incredible. There is one main story dealing with Terra, but you also get to explore the lives of other people such as Sabin and Edgar, Gau, and Setzer. The music is great as well. I downloaded the Coin Song just to hear it over and over again. There are hundreds of items, many different spells, interesting characters each with their own unique skills, and a lot more. If you prefer games like Mario, Metroid, Halo, etc, this game isnt for you. But if you want to play an awesome rpg, i strongly recommend FFVI.

Graphics are boring.

I know it suppose to be SNES games, but still Square should have done more to update it to Playstation standards. ...I saw some videos and pictures of 3-D models of the characters from FF VI done by Square Soft, and they looked great, if they would just apply those three D models into this game, would made the game into modern standards, and much better game. As it stands, the graphics is just too much of a turn off.

I bought this to play FFVI, so I never played FF V. This remake just sucked....for one thing, the sound effects were screwed up, as well as some slowdown. Another gripe is no extras except a couple cutscenes and a monster encyclopedia. I guess I was expecting more cutscenes and a lot of other extras

skip this and just get an emulator and play the original SNES version

if you like the final fantasy's, you have to get this game!ff6 has the best plot out of any ffs, and ff5 is really cool causa the job system.you really gotta get this game!

this is a great combination of games. i'd probaly have to say that final fantasy 6 is my alltime favorite, but final fantasy 5 is right up their two, 5 is definatly the hardest, and most annoying, thats why i like it, my favorites in order are 6,8,5,4,and 7, definatly the weakest

Honestly this is the best game ever made. It has 2 great games in it. I own it and i love both games. Final Fantasy VI is the best game i have ever played. Final Fantasy V is also great. If you like any RPG's then you must buy this game.

ff5 i hated but ff6 i loved ff6 the first time played i thought it was pretty stupid but then i played for an hour then i started playing straghit forward for 5 hours u gotta try ff6 that's all

Just looking through all the other reviews of this game confuses and enrages me. I just can't fathom why people believe that Final Fantasy 6 is the best game of all time. Final Fantasy 6 is okay, but it doesn't come even close to approaching greatness. Everybody is just brainwashed from when they played FF6 when it first came out. Any new gamers who haven't played this before are not going to be impressed. There isn't anything here that hasn't been done dozens of times in much better, newer games. Just because this is old doesn't automatically make the fact that it isn't good okay.

Oh, and by the way, Final Fantasy 5 is terrible. The job system was kind of interesting, but other than that, everything in FF5 is done better by FF6. There really isn't all that much point in playing FF5 at all, even if you are a big Final Fantasy fan.

I'm sorry.... this game SUCKED! No graphics...nostoryline...nothing!...FF7&FF8 were the best gamesever... Everyone... buy FF7 or FF8...I liked 'em both. I was soooo addiected to both gamnes...it will leave you playing untill dawn. Anthology...it isn't worth the money at all at all.Maybe cuz I played 8 & 7 first.

I am unfamiliar with this relm of video game play so I believed that the animation would be as pictured on the inside cover and in the game preview. But the game itself was the flat choppy animation of the Atari game era, not the 3-D animation of today's games, or of that in this game's preview. I did not enjoy it. I didn't care for the bait and switch.
