This game is awesome. It was a two-game package for the price of one. In one week I was halfway done with it, and my brother was halfway done with the other one. Out of all of the Final Fantasy games, VI is probably my favorite.
Finally FFV is imported

Final FAntasy V is a great game, and the only departments it is lacking is graphics and sound (since it was released in 1992). The battle system, with the job abilities is fantastic. Final fantasy VI is also good, but many gamers have played this already. The music CD is worthless. the music is good, but not good enough to listen to by itself.

Besides the grafics, who were the best in the times of Super NES, Final Fantasy 6 is the best square soft game, with the best storyline, best characters, best game system, and it isn't only my oppinion, FFVI (released as FFIII for SNES) was rewarded and chosed as the best of square. If you're a fan of FF series and didn't played it, you've saw nothing. Players who saw the first FF as FF7 don't know how this game loses to his antecessor
This is an Asome Game Pack

Who needs 3D graphics. These are some of the best games I ever bought, and they,re 16 bit, the day I rented it I just knew that I had to buy it. These games are just full of adventures. Both titles are immense, role playing games in which you lead a party of adventurers on incredible quests through wondrous lands filled with magic, mayhem and incridible adventure. Even though there 16 bit, to me Final Fantasy V is better than Final Fantasy VII & VIII combined. Final Fantasy VI I haven't got very far on but so far it is cool you just need to level up your guys often, VI is a bit more challenging than V. If your really into adventure I think that you should get this game.
Two of the best games in one package!

These two games are the best games two ever come out. They are just wonderful, true classics never die. With Final Fantasy 6 or 3 being its wonderful self and 5 which never came out in America. The graphics are the old super nintendo graphics but graphics don't matter at all! Buy this game or you can Final Fantasy 8-ahahahahahaha. Whatta a loser!

Final Fantasy 5 would probably be better off having never been released stateside but FF6 is an absolute must have. 10+ unique main characters, each with their own backstories, special abilities, and character-only weapons. Magic, magic beings, airships, an empire burned to the ground, and a megolomaniac bent on releasing the barely contained power of 3 goddesses all combine to bring the greatest story I have ever read/seen/played.
A girl who's half-esper (beings infused with magic from an alternate plane of existence) is used by an evil empire to stomp a small resistance. Upon finding an esper, the first seen in the world of man since the tragic War of the Magi many many years ago, her control device breaks and she is discovered, alone and confused, by the resistance. She joins them, and together with tons of other great characters you'll travel the world to put an end to the emperor's machinations.
I'd love to keep gushing but i'm running out of adjectives, suffice to say that FF6 is positively brilliant in every way. The graphics are dated; it was originally released on the SNES as FF3, but this final fantasy classic is canon to all RPG lovers. If you love a brilliant, well-told story, if you love final fantasy, if you love RPGs, if you love epic struggles to save the world, you owe it to yourself to play this game.
Another great collection of Final Fantasy's legendary games.

Of the three available collections of Final Fantasy Final Fantasy has, in my opinion, the best of the SNES era games. Final Fantasy V has a great story, great gameplay, and is generally an incredible game. It's sequel Final Fantasy VI is one of the best RPGs ever made, whether on SNES or any console. The story, gameplay and long length of gameplay give you not only plenty of game, but an incredible experience. I highly recommend this game as well as it's companion games Final Fantasy Chronicles(Final Fantasy IV, Chrono Trigger) and Final Fantasy Origins(Remakes of Final Fantasy 1, Final Fantasy II).

You've played Final Fantasies 5 and 6 before. Now, you can play them again without having to dust off your old SNES or booting your computer.
And maybe my memory is short, but they are the same games as they were the first time around. You might find better translations. There are a couple of cinematics. However, all in all, you'll find the same beloved classics.
Smell that? No, it's not a chocobo farm. That's nostalgia.

Most people that say FF5 and FF6 suck have played the games backwards. So FF5 and FF6 don't have the flashy graphics but where those lack the story makes up. I also think that the spells in the older games look better. FF7 had a crappy ultima spell while FF6 had a decent ultima spell. My only problem is that it looked a lot like the luminare spell in Chrono Trigger. I also think that SEPEROTH LIVES IN KEFKA'S SHADOW. Seperoth only looks cool past that he isn't all that great. Kefka truly is a crazy madman and the collest villan in the FF world.
great example of an set of old squaresoft games

A great game if you have the patience. i gave it four stars for the reason that ff5 just is not nearly as good as ff6. Don't get me wrong its very good but it just does not seem fitting to go with ff6. It would have been much better if ff3(nes) was with it but sadly it is not. While ff6 is a great game a very complex story two halves of it before the end of the world and after it. The gameplay is great. The graphics falter in comparison of newer games but are great for those such as myself who mainly plays old final fantasy games as rpgs. i would recomend this set to anyone who has an interest in olf ff games.
