This review is all on Final Fantasy 6 (or Final Fantasy 3 when originally release in the US on SNES). The game is quite arguably the most entertaining RPG ever made. The characters, stories, and game play revolutionized the the RPG market a set a bar for all RPGS that followed. The only thing that sets it back are the dated graphics, but the entertainment value still exists. The added cut scenes are a major plus. The only gripe I have are the long load times during/between fights and navigation of the character menus. That 1 or 2 second additional load time is very noticeable and can be an annoyance especially to those who have played the original SNES version. The $20.00 price tag makes it a deal. A must have game for all RPG fans.

this is yet again a game that is very enjoyable. Final faantasy 6 is exctly the same as the American version of Final Fantasy 3. This one is much better for the computer generated graphicas and design.Final Fantasy 5 is different from that. Final fantasy 5 i belive is a lot like final fantasy Tacktics for that you choose classes such as summoners and knights and learn their special abilities. These two games are similer in the graphics and the battle but different in the plot.
The true classics are never outdated

FFV and FFVI are probably the two very best old RPGs, and that's why they're still around now. These two games definitely live up to the Final Fantasy standard with good stories, likable characters, and good battle systems. Longtime FF fans will surely want to pick this one up, but people whose first Final Fantsy was FFVII or FFVIII might not be able to handle the oudated graphics. These people will want to rent it first to see if they can take it. If the old feel doesn't bug you too much, FF Anthology is a great choice.
Only one game is better

WOW! I've played all the Final Fantasy games ever made is and in my opinion only Final Fantasy VII is better. I don't much of FFV so my review is basically just VI. Old graphics were kept intact and the story kept me hooked for good long time. The sounds, though, were probably the game's biggest flaw. Also, slow loading time was a large problem for me, and sometimes the game wouldn't load out of battles, but only one is better. Even secret characters can be obtained! My favorite charcters were, in this order: 1.Shadow 2.Sabin 3.Locke 4.Edgar 5.Cyan 6.Celes 7.Terra 8.Umaro 9.Gogo 10.Strago 11.Relm 12.Gau
FFV was a dissapointment, but it IS and addition to the FF..

I think that Final Fantasy Anthology is a really good set. The games are both really fun and sometimes challenging, and theyboth are a blast from the past, whihc means that they bring back good memories. Though, Final Fantasy Five was your average, mild, and usually boring fantasy game and story. SAVE THE CRYSTALS OF THE SACRED ELEMENTS BEFORE THE EVIL VILLIAN DESTROYS THE WORLD. How many times have I heard that story? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, (still counting). It is fun, though. But it is more geared for younger players. I have proof because my little brotheris the only that I know that actually enjoys the game. Final Fantasy Six was a real blast. I had never played the Super Nintendo Version, and this game brought it right up there with Final Fantasty 7 and LUNAR, because it was completely mesmerizing for its era. The secret option is pretty cool because you cna go back and see all of the movies, view the bestiary, see the artwork, and many other things related to that. I think it was a very good idea and should be kept up with the other Final Fantasies. It has the same options in Galerians as well. If the videos are really good, this is a very awesome option that sould be included all the time.
Infinite stars for FF6.

I have played many games on many systems, nothing compares to FF6(FF3 U.S.).FF7 was great and so was FF8,but FF6 has the greatest story ever. The characters are easy to like. The graphics aren't that bad,in 1994 they were awesome.FF6 was my first rpg and also my friend's first who only likes sports games, but now his favorite game is FF6. FF5 has weak graphics(1992)and the characters are very small, but the job system rulz. With the job system you can give your character a job like a Ninja,Thief,White or Black Mage and tons more, 21 in all!Kind of like FF tactics for psx. The new stuff like cg cinemas are kool but not enough of them. All in all it's worth the money. FF6 BEST GAME EVER!
Best Final fantasy on the market

This game is awsome, Final Fantasy VI is one of the best RPGs out in this world! The game features 16 bit graphics, but SquareSoft also added extra FMVs(Little movies u see on FF7 and 8) I would recommend this to all expert gamers, but if you are new to RPGs, try FF8 it's a very easy game

Well...I expected more from this game. FYI Final Fantasy V is a hard game compared to the other Final Fantasy games. FFA isn't the best, but I guess it's worth trying. If you're going to buy it play FF6 first. If you're lookin' to play any old revised game, I suggest Lunar: The Silver Star Story. Buy this game if you like to level up characters (in the game) at ridiculously high levels, or looking for a hard game to play (FF5).
