Not better than resident evil but kind of addicting

I got this game from the game stop store where I use to work at for $2.99 + tax which was a really sweet deal. I played it in my ps2 and it was pretty fun shooting those dinosours especially in normal mode. It took me along time to figure out how to complete the missions because this game didn't come with any instuction booklet so I learned about this game the hard way. Your mission is to search the facility for clues survive from the dinosours and go after doctor kirk who is the main person your after through out the whole game. Most people I guess would prefer resident evil instead of dino crisis but I would say this game is worth playing if your into resident evil.

You play Regina a U.S solider on a mission on a Island far away. Her mission (co Gale and Copper) find out what Doctor Kirk is doing on the Island. And eleminate him if he is doing something nasty.

This sound very easy, but I can promise you that it is not so easy. Dinos have taken completely controll of the base on the Island. And they want your blood. There are many types of dinos.I find this game very fun. Because it contains action, adventure and lots of brain tbbeling puzzels. This a must buy game for everyone with a playstation.

Has to be one of the best survival-horrors(next to RE2)

I loved this game.I like the fact of killing smart and fast dinos alot more than killing stupid,retarded,slow and mindless zombies.It makes the game a little more challenging and this game has so many surprises going from raptors poping out from a corner to rip your face off all the way to a gient T-Rex busting through a window to bite you in half.I must say that this game is very gory but in a way still cannot compare to the goryness of RE games.I bet though that your wondering why I called this one of the best survival-horrors when I have only givin it 4 stars instead of a perfect 5.Well,the game seems to have to much puzzle solving and not enough killing dinos.Like there is about a dino in every hall and in a few rooms but after you kill them all your stuck with about 50 puzzles to open a new area and then you finally get the opportunity to kill a few more dinos and then the same proccess over and over.50 puzzles,10 dinos,50 puzzles,10 dinos.But hey,look on the bright side.The graphics are very great,along with the sound and awesome FMV's and the game also has its great and fun moments like when the T-Rex comes out.In this game the T-Rex plays a simmilar role such as the Nemises does in RE3 because they are both constant enemys that keep showing up to ruin your day and they seem invincable.This annoys some because of the same boss showing up over and over but I think its great!!Plus if you have played RE3 and got annoyed by the Nemises showing up over and over,you may like this a little better because in here the T-Rex does not show up as near asmany times as the Nemises does.Aside from the T-Rex and the Raptors there are 3 other deadly dinos.One is the small and very very annoying Compys,who show up and theres about 20 of them you gota kill which wastes a great deal of your ammo.Anouther is the flying bird dinos(I dont know how to spell there names)and last but not the least,these very very strong and very big(bigger than a raptor anyways but way smaller than the T-Rex)wierd looking things that I do not have a clue to what there names are.Oh,now I would like to get to the ammo.Ammo is very very hard to find in this game,and there is not even that much to find...But I suggest to you to get and infit ammo cheat because you'll need it for this game.This games AI(artificial intellagence)is very good.The dinos are smart and if you are bleeding they can smell it all the way from a different hall and start stalking you.So over all this is a great horror-survival that has (somwhat little)but good action none the less.Buy it,you'll love it(exept if your not good at solving puzzles).

This game rocks! there is none better! I think its worth the $50! The strategy guides are great espcially the detailed ones! I think my favorite part is when you have to run around a destroyed helicopter wth the T-Rex on your tail! And The SPAS12 Is the coolest gun there is! all in this is a must get !

Drags on and on until you're bored stiff...

In comparison to Resident Evil, this game is a weak point. Sure you get to kill dinosaurs instead of zombies, but I think that it could've been better if there weren't so many cut scenes and puzzles. I mean, there was a cut scene every 10 seconds! Overall it was an OKAY plot, but it seemed like a spoof-off Jurassic Park! Even in the game a character says "This is just like that movie."

Okay, the graphics were nice. That was probably the only thing that could make a graphic loving person care, but inspite of good graphics the game is just too boring.

If you enjoy doing about 50+ puzzles (which make up 2/3 of the game alone), then this is the game for you! But if you're like a die-hard RE fan in the killing, you'll be disapointed. However, if you beat the game without falling asleep in under 5 hours, you get a special bonus game that you do nothing but kill in.

The puzzles are just nonsense and frustrating. I mean you have a puzzle that repeats itself over and over again (the locks on the doors), and you have another puzzle that will make you take a pencil and piece of paper, and you have other puzzles that are just nonsense to the game.

The "DANGER" scenes are dumb, but build suspense. But the game is not as scary as RE2 or as surprising as RECV. In fact, the game is totally predictable making even more boring then I stressed it to be.

Overall its a nice piece of eye candy for graphics, but unless you love using your brain, the game scores way too low in fun factor.

RARELY DOES A GAME COME ALONG THAT HAS IT ALL! LOTS OF ACTION, COOL DINOSAURS TO ANNIHILATE, NOT TOO HARD PUZZLES , AND LOTS OF FUN PLAYING IN GENERAL..AND A VERY GOOD PLAYSTATION TITLE TO BOOT!!I LOVED PLAYING THIS GAME A LOT , AND EQUALLY LOVED '' DINO CRISIS 2 '' AS WELL! LET'S HOPE THEY PUT OUT ANOTHER TITLE FOR PS 2 IN THE FUTURE .AND THAT IS AS GOOD IN ACTION AS THIS ONE , AND LOTS OF COOL DINOS LIKE THE SECOND ONE.THAT WAS THE ONLY FLAW WITH THIS GAME , NOT A GREAT AMOUNT OF DINOSAURS TO WIPE OUT .BUT THE ONES THEY HAD WERE COOL TO FIGHT .. These game is a blast !!! great story heart pumping action, and neverending terror. If you want to really feel the game quit those cheating codes and fight like a man

i played a demo of this game and i thought it was better than alot of games i have played. if you are looking for the best game for playstation right now this is your best bet. hey if you dont believe me just look at how it ranks.

this game is the best if you liked jurassic park the movie orgame or anything about it you will like this game. if you likeresident evil one or two or like the book or action figures oranything about it you will like this game because its jurassic park meets resident evil. the dinosaurs can bust though doors jump over fences hunt you down. just about anything.plus the graffics are incredible. they look like moving pictures. any other game is just a old pitfall game comparred to this game. i loved it and you will love it i promise. you get to see many dinosaurs and get to waste many dinosaurs. not to meantion the cheap price for such a cool game . its the gift that never stops giving. if anyone tells you different there lying.
