BEST GAME OF THE MILLENIUM!

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 2 / 4

This game rocks. I don't know how to explain it but it's more than perfect! Better than the N64 one. More maps. Easier. And I recommend you get Brooadwar with it. I think it has been about 5 years now and I'm still playing it. It's still the game I love that really has stardegy. They might be releasing starcraft 2 but blizzard didn't make any annuncements. Just go to [the website]...I RECOMMEND YOU HAVE INTERNET ACCESS!! Play on [the battle website], you challenge a lot of people and there are games created by the map maker like there's even Grand Theft Auto, The Simpsons... The units are different but look the same though. Get it when it's still cheap and will always be. I expected this game to be more expensive because of how fun it is. Get it and you'll play it as long as me. The graphics for Warcraft III are better but who cares, it gets borin'! And it's expensive although I have it and I'm gonna sell it. Starcraft forever baby! Yeah! Get it!!!!!!!

hooked on starcraft!

this game is the most beautiful game i've ever played. the detail of the units, the sounds, the graphics are very well done. not to mention the fun factor of playing against online players. this game encourages you to think on your feet and develop different strategies to annihilate your opponent. of all the games out there, i would suggest this game. get the expansion set, too. its a must have for playing with even more units with different skills.

i've been playing this game since 98 and have been playing ever since. i was hooked on quake2 for a while. if you want to use your intelligence rather than just merely blasting away at foes, this game has your name on it.

checkout online strategy guides to help you with your game. good luck and happy hunting!

Is this the game everyone thinks it is?

Well... I love starcraft, but... does everyone?.

This is an excellent game if you like the Real time strategy games, like AOE (age of empires).

This game begins from nothing. What i mean is that they created everything in this game: The story, the characters, the races, the moves... etc...

The story is not the most amazing one i've ever seen, but is a pretty good one.

You can choose from three races... each one with a different story that thogheter make a one... that is continued by Expansion pack: brood war.

Buy this game if you want to ge excited and enjoy playing this game, but beware with it... it produces addiction... enjoy it...

Another GREAT game from the guys at Blizzard!

Well when I first bought the game i really did not like it because i was not good at it. But....... Over time I became better and better and started to beat level by level. Before I knew it I beat the game. I am making it sound like that it is very easy and no fun but it is just the opposite of that. I have had it since the second day that it has came out and i will still sit down and play it for a while. I will also get on Battle.net (which is awesome becasue you play over the net and get ranked) and play for hours there with my freinds. The expansion makes the game a little better but the real fun is in Starcraft. I would recomend this game to any person who likes to just play on the computer. It is so fun and you will be playing it years from now. Thanks

Starcraft is the best strategy game ever.

Starcraft is an excellent real-time strategy game, and is easy to learn and play. The missions get harder and provide hours of play. you can also play multi-player, and no 2 games are ever alike. its a one-of-a-kind game. I have had it for almost a year and am still not bored with it. Definetly worth buying.

This game has it all

If you could buy any one game, it should be this one. Addictive gameplay, endless scenarios, great graphics and sound. The game itself is a marvel, and a very high quality game. Buy this!

This is a great game, blizzard's finest!

StarCraft is a great game i have played it for only 2 two months and i can't get away from it. usally when i beat game i just sell it at a yard sale but not this game the multiplayer is great if u have a dsl or a cable modem, 56k is fine but u get "Lag" anything slower is worthless. The Single play is great if u dont want to play multiplay and u can create your own maps and levels and play in a custom battle, in otherwords THIS GAME ROCKS!

Unending addiction!

This game was easy to play, out of the box. The scenarios (single player) are challenging while teaching the basics and some of the strategy of the game. With 30 scenarios in three campaigns and a compelling story, this will keep your interest for hours. There are more scenarios available on the web, so it's not over when you finish with what came in the box! There is also a great scenario editor so you can come up with your own scenarios. I've bought Brood War, the expansion set for StarCraft, which is every bit as good as the original. I highly recommend this game.

The first and best... so far

I got my iMac DV SE around Christmas last year, and StarCraft was the first game I bought for it. I doubt I could have made a better choice for my first foray into the Mac gaming world. Being a novice to RTS, StarCraft's shallow learning curve and tight graphics made it easy and enjoyable for a first-timer like myself to pick up and play and succeed. And, fortunately, the missions become harder as you (hopefully) become more familiar with the interface and the tactics needed to win. Although there have been angry rumblings about the Mac version coming out so long after the PC people got their taste, I say it was well, well worth the wait to have a chance to play such a fulfulling title.

Starmazing!

This game is incredible. From the graphics to the witty missions, this is the ultimate game. Blizzard has totally outdone themselves on this one. Absolutely amazingly done. As the game progresses, so do the difficulty of the missions. An excellent example in teaching the "how to's" of making decisions, creating a liveable atmosphere for your people, and outlooking on other ways of life. I definetely reccomend it.
