Truly AMAZING!

This game has to be the greatest stratergy game ever! It requires tons of thinking and planning. If you stop playing for like 5 minutes, that will mean that you've probably lost the battle, because you have given up so much building time, unless you are an expert that can get everything together really fast. The graphics are decent, but graphics does not really matter in this game. The battle.net debut in this game really adds a whole lot of value. You have the ability to play online with people all the way from Korea. Now you can REALLY test your skills agaisnt the pros.

One Word: GREAT!

What else can we ask? A great game from the creators of the Warcraft and Diablo sagas. This game is pure strategy, you have to build your own encampment (because that's what they are, they are not cities or full-scales civilizations) in the middle of God-forgotten planet or on the remains of a long-lost space platform. This game is just like the classic Warcraft II, you control each unit, from the SCV (who basically are those who build your structures and gather resources)to the BattleCruisers.
You control 3 races: Terrans (humans), Zergs (bug-like creatures) and the Protoss (Aliens); every race has its own way of living, they work in a different way, so you'll have to practice a lot to master them.
It includes free access to BattleNet, where you can play great MultiPlayer matches, and test your skills.
There's one glitch though, once you start, you won't stop; so, get some chips, a good soda, and get ready for Battle!

This is one of the sweetest games ive ever played. I like the way that you can control an entire army and make them do almoast everything. I dont own it but I am SURE getting it. I think that you should get some cash and buy it 'cause its definatly worth the money.

A game overlooked by some people, it is really interesting once you get used to it. There are three diffrent races of units that you can choose to fight with in a campaign. The units are different from one another. The actual graphics of the game aren't exactly what you would expect from a video game system, but the game play is very easy to under stand, as long as you have an easy time handling a mouse. When you choose to attack other units, it's like you are in control, and different reactions can occur depending on what you do, whether it was good and bad decision. This game also deals with what the future may be someday. If you choose to buy the Expansion set(Brood War)for this game which continues the story after the first game, you might as well get the battle chest, it includes those two games and a strategy guide for each. By the time the game is done, you'll be eager to play it again! This game is cheap and fun. It will last you many years in my opinion, before you get bored with it(if you get bored)

Truly remarkable, Blizzard's done a wonderful job. This game has alot of what players want but it still lacks small details. Strategy IS involved, but it would help if there were water units, players can climb in hills and put sieged tanks, and hide under trees, use stealth as a part of advantage, (2 races). Three races is much better well done when it has its' differences much unlike Warcraft 2. The storyline's great to follow! but it would've been cool if the units could leave a sense of where they were so players could have more depth, (footprints left behind for 2 minutes or something) or they could change the weather like make it rain, just simple details like that, but it was a great game and I definitely reccomend it!

Starcraft.....
the game of building a lot of stuff...researching as much crap as possible...and BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF THE OTHER PLAYER.

The game...it is partly strategic....but...the game is basically about building as many units as possible and hoping that the other guy doesn't have as much as you do.

if you are having trouble on the game...cheat...thats all there is to it...if the game gets so boring at times....Cheat.....thats all there is to it.

The game of Starcraft is complicated as you advance in the game....but..if you have friends in high places(wink wink)...you should be able to do just fine. But....the game is so easy at the start that you wouldnt even need to have friends in high places when you are going solo on it.

Now multiplayer........thats very complicated...you are basically battling against other players who have more experience than you do and you are HELPLESS to an attack by the people you are against. My advice....dont go into any rooms that say noobs only. the people in there are basically setting you up for the BIGGEST BEATING OF YOUR LIFE......i know.....it happened to me too. This is the area in which you NEED friends in high places. My advice..again...join clans...you will be surprised in what help you get there.

THE BAD POINTS OF THE GAME

Now my review basically looks like its all about bad points in the game....but it just goes to show that what i am about to tell you may be helpful....or u cant do anything about it...you decide that for yourself.

1. The game has LAG.....it has it in multiplayer and single..nothing you can do about it accept that you have to wait for it to stop.
2. You can get confused very easily as the game progresses further into the mystifying depths of starcraft.
3. You also can get very frustrated...easily...jist keep a cool head throughout the whole game or else get off and walk away for a while.

Despite what anyone thinks starcraft is and excellent game; it is a wonderful addition to the strategy gaming genre. Like all blizzard games this one is trully addicting. Although it may have some faults, the fact is, most everything about it makes it fun. There are three different species that you can be and almost infinite strategies for each of them. The basic philosophy is kill your enemy a.k.a. kill your opponents base. But starcraft multiplayer adds a whole new realm to the game.

This game is a must if you have some friends that play it; because, playing with friends is much more rewarding of an experience then some can imagined. Starcraft is a an great game to play people you know with.

Bottom line: if you like strategy games or want to start playing strategy games, don't miss this great title from blizzard.

This is all I have to write about StarCraft. I lose interest in games very fast. StarCraft is the ONLY game that I can say I am still interested in. When I'm done with the missions, I'm gonna start Brood Wars. This isn't a waste of money. Buy it. Point blank.

Star craft is amazing with lots of things extra to do to keep you hooked. Like the map editor where you can make just as good maps as the game. or the teo expansion sets witch I've got. Brood wars gives you new players too. Then being able to down load maps off the internet. Finaly you've got battle net that lets you play online. No game can compare to starcamericaraft

This is with out a doubt the best game ever..... It completly snuffs out every other game I have ever played. I have owned this game for over 2 years now and I am still not bored with it. Most games I buy only interest me for about 2 weeks and after you beat them 9 times out of 10 you will never play them again. The replay ability of this game is intense. If you are looking for the best game ever buy Star Craft and don't forget to get the expansion along with it Brood War.
