The tanker just about was the only good part about this game

The tankerplant part of the game really made me love this game. i new it would rock..........but.....after an hour the game went down town to funky town. I hated every thing about this game. i gave it 4 stars for the tnker and raiden for trying so hard and the graphics......I THOUGHT THE BOSS BATTLE WOULD BE SNAKE VS OCELOT IN MG RAY!......sadly it was raiden vs 20 mg wich ruined it for me............WHY SNAKE... well atleast give it a try if u like it get it......

Ok first off...WHAT PLANET ARE YOU FROM....MGS2 takes about the same lengh as The first one....The first one seems long if you play it for the first time and take your time but 2DOES NOT TAKE 15 HOURS...What the F...ARe you talking about...It took me like 6 hours the first time and 5 hours the second time.

No Offence but get your hm straight because MGS 2 doesnt take 15 hours plus 15 hours is a good lengh for a video game but thats not the point.

This game is great though I also HAD A PROBLEM WITH RAIDEN BEING IN IT AND I DON'T NEED CRAP FROM SOME ONE SAYING THATS STUPID......

MGS 1 was the best though.........

A cheap version of splinter cell, If you don't have alot of cash and you want a good spy game, this is it! It has an amazing storyline that they should make a movie out of. Overral-just a great game to play!

Yes by now!!!!!!! you know i own this game , i love every moment of this game , i don't care about the long dialoge it somehow appeal to my intellectual vanities,the cut scences were teriffic a little to much at times but the game play makes up for that, i felt pupose plying this game and at times i really felt like the real thing (whatever that is ha ha ha ha!!!!!)xbox may be powerful but Ps2 , will always come out on top because!!!!!! it's just that good i have not played the game cube as yet but so far i love my ps2 i am a true nitendo fan , i am now experimenting with diffrerent types of game consoles i love the ps2 even if its the weakest out there , it some how uses it strenght to its best avantage, i can't wait to play metal gear 3 laterzzzzzzzz gamers!!!!!!!

After I beat the first MGS I waited patiently for this one and after I played it I was VERY disipointed.This game just [stinks].Well... It didn't "[stink]", I just think it could've been a lot better.Instead it was a lot worse.After the first 1/3 of the game I forgot I was playing a MGS game since solid snake was "dead" and I was Raiden, which really [stunk].I missed it's long game length,Meryl,Mei Ling,the real cyborg ninja,the short and sweet cutsceens,the music,and especicialy a full game playing as solid snake.Face it,this game is ******!

The controls are excellent, the graphics are stunning, the story is allright except for the bit between Raiden and Rose. You only get to play as Snake for the first 25% of the game. The rest of the time you play as Raiden who seems to be a cross between a Backstreet Boy and a Geisha. If I had known that the Snake character would only play a bit-part I might not have bought the game.

Its a a little boring game it should be more exciting for such a higher price game. I think it is pretty realistic.Overall its an ok game...

The graphics and everything in this game are great!!! BUT- the cutscenes ruin everything, it is so boring with them, and it takes several minutes to press the square button with the cutscene stopped. i fell asleep during those boring cutscenes--- BOTTOM LINE___ the game would be great if the company made an option at the beggining of no cutscenes. 4 those of u who r fans of metal gear- i personnaly recommend not to buy this game!

p.s. everyone who wrote a good review about this game knows how boring the game gets because of the cutscenes

Greetings to all the MGS fans out there.Words cannot express how much i've waiting and wanting to play this game, i even bought my PS2 because of the Metal Gear series. The graphics, plot, and music were great, but there was something missing in the game (most of it at least) and that is... YOU DON'T GET TO USE SOLID SNAKE!!! i mean WHAT THA' HELL WERE YOU THINKING HIDEO, that we wanted to play with that girly boy you gave us name Jack, i mean what's that all about.

That alone is a HUUUUUUUGE dissapoinment, i mean c'mon, Metal Gear without Solid Snake, you might as well call it "Little girly boy at war"... God i am so (...) angry!!!

Besides all that, the game is easy (...) and way too short!

To all the fans who bought the game, think twice before buying the next MGS game, and to the ones that have not yet purchase the game, well... i guess it's pretty much in my review.
